A Secular Christmas

. . . Point is, there is room during Christmas for a certain degree of secular jollity, wassailing, mistletoe-ing, jingle bell-ing, and partying. Santa, Rudolph, trees, colorful lights, gift-giving all add to the festivity that is Christmas.

True, Christians now have to engage in an annual battle in the War on Christmas against those who would foist “Holiday Day” upon us and deny our Christian, and Christmas, heritage but that’s become part of the tradition, an unfortunate part.

With all that in mind, just join in the fun, always remembering what has become a hackneyed expression, that there’s a reason for the season–and it’s not Santa Claus! . . .
