A Day in the Life of the Drudge Report

(Non-disclaimer: I have no affiliation and have never had any contact with anyone associated with the Drudge Report–and I damned well haven’t been paid for what follows.)




Matt Drudge began the internet Drudge Report in 1996 and over the ensuing sixteen years has published both original articles and news items from a wide variety of sources, mostly stories which the MSM either ignores or downplays because, well, because they’re the mainstream media.



Drudge first gained widespread notoriety in 1998 by going where Newsweek and other mainstreamers dared not go, publicizing the sleazy details of the Monica Lewinsky–Bill Clinton sexcapades in the White House. Since then, Drudge has posted links to hundreds of stories that rattle liberal cages almost as much as Rush Limbaugh does.



Today, many conservatives regularly visit the Drudge Report to keep up on the news the public is not supposed to know about, information considered by the MSM as damaging to their liberal darlings, and some off-the-wall pieces rivaling The Onion, the difference being they are real.



Liberals probably drop by as often, although they’d never admit it, in order to check out the lies they’ve been caught in and news they had hoped would never be reported.



For those unfamiliar with what the Drudge Report reports, a brief sampling from late Saturday, June 9, 2012:



“Obama girl won’t endorse Obama.”

Gays Versus Normality

Except for the deep satisfaction that comes from being demonstrably correct, there’s no upside to criticizing certain groups and people in America.




Say something negative concerning African-Americans or the president and you’re immediately branded a racist no matter how true and verifiable the critique. Say anything critical of homosexuals and you’re castigated as a hateful, homophobic Neanderthal despite the accuracy of the criticism.



However, the truth shall set you free so I’ll say and write it anyway: Gays despise normality.



Virtually everything I’ve read and seen about the homosexual community in the gay-friendly MSM depicts homosexuals as an oppressed minority who simply seek acceptance and recognition as normal people with different sexual proclivities who are misunderstood by heterosexuals.



Nothing could be farther from reality, at least for leaders in the lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgendered (LGBT) movement who dictate the gay agenda.



If gays simply sought acceptance and recognition, why would they actively recruit, stage outrageous displays, and try to stifle straights when they voice their disagreement?



For example, why does the LGBT sponsor annual days of silence in schools and gay weeks where kids are encouraged to try the gay lifestyle? Why do they promote annual gay parades and other festivities where homosexuals exhibit themselves in half-naked costumes and engage in outrageously gross behaviors? Why do they push for gay days at amusement parks where they intentionally make themselves a seperate minority?

Such activities only accomplish shock and disgust, not acceptance and inclusion in the mainstream of society. They serve to reinforce common perceptions that gays are far from what they assert, namely just a variation on the norm.



Long before President Barack Hussein Obama’s sudden, election year “evolution” on same-sex marriage, gays had been making huge inroads within the entertainment, mass media, and other very public industries. Representing an infinitesimal 2% of our population, for some reason, homosexuals are disproportionately represented in every field from sitcoms to politics to cable news.



As for very plausible reasons? Think political correctness and gay dominance in the entertainment industry.



It may have taken his daughters to convince Obama of the moral and societal rectitude of men marrying men and women marrying women . . .

Squelched Trayvon and New Black Panther Party Videos

As often noted in this space, the mainstream media frequently censor news items they deem politically incorrect or politically damaging to their favorite Democrat politicians. Sometimes, a story makes it on the air, onto cable, or into print that doesn’t fit the MSM mold but that’s as rare as transparency in the Obama administration.




Two subjects accorded lamestream P.C. indulgence are Trayvon Martin and the New Black Panther Party.



In their quest to convict if not hang George Zimmerman of something, anything, negative information concerning the late Trayvon Martin is usually buried by the MSM who prefer to depict the teenager as an innocent young man unjustly stalked and brutally murdered instead of as the pothead, thieving, violent gangbanger he actually was.



One detail about Trayvon Martin has recently surfaced that clearly demonstrates the real Trayvon. Don’t expect Diane Sawyer and her buddies to even mention it.



It seems the young Trayvon had maintained a YouTube account on which he proudly featured his photo with the middle finger of both hands raised in contemptuous salute. He also posted videos including one showing him engaged in a brawl with a white or light-skinned hispanic kid.



Understandably, with lawsuits and monetary compensation in their minds, Martin’s family has vehemently denied the boy in the video is Trayvon and family lawyer Ben Crump dutifully denounced it as nothing more than another attack on Trayvon’s character.



However, someone calls out his name, yelling, “Watch out, Trayvon!” 5 seconds into the 66-second vid, the tattoo on Martin’s right arm is clearly visible, and the fight takes place outside his mother’s home.



Now, kids tend to fight, even if they don’t post a videotape on YouTube accounts for all the world to see the violent, amateur Fight Club exhibition.



Trayvon Martin, though, was not your average teen, according to the family and their attorney.



To them, and to Barack Hussein Obama’s/Eric Holder’s Justice Department intent on turning his killing into a hate crime, he was a sweet, mild-mannered boy who couldn’t possibly have pummeled George Zimmerman into the ground before Zimmerman was forced to shoot him in self-defense.



The video was available on YouTube until it was scrubed, allegedly because it was too violent but not before screen captures and the video itself were saved revealing Martin as something less than a flower child.



No one has ever accused members of the racist New Black Panther Party of being flower children.



Heirs to the notorious old Black Panther Party founded by black domestic terrorists Huey Newton and Bobby Seale who thankfully dissolved into nothingness after being exposed for what they were, the NBPP initially presented itself as different from the old BPP.



In fact, the New Black Panthers are just as treacherous, if not more so, as their forebears. The NBPP simply pretends to be more civilized and law-abiding than the oldies, and they consistently fail. . .

DrudgeReport.com’s Friday headline, “Race Related Hate Crimes Up, Coincide with Obama Presidency”, seemed to confirm what most people who follow the news already knew, that since the election of Barack Hussein Obama, incidents of blacks attacking whites had increased wildly, maybe exponentially.




Not so.



First of all, it’s difficult to determine numbers since the MSM rarely notes the race of the alleged criminals, a description that could aid in their apprehension. Secondly, much of the media don’t bother to report black racist crimes at all.



In any event, the linked article from ABCNews referred to the reaction of “white supremacist groups” to Obama’s presidency, not to the proliferation of black violence.



Indeed, ABC never saw fit to mention that proliferation, instead focusing exclusively on the increase in the number of white militias–from 150 to 1,274 over three years–who are incensed over “changes in demographics” and resort to violence, while never citing a single instance of that violence. Correction: “what most people who follow the news already knew” should read, “what most people are oblivious of” since the mainstream media, often with the complicity of law enforcement, has long been engaged in a concerted effort to conceal the extent of black hate crimes.



There are various reasons for the MSM’s failure to fulfill their fundamental journalistic responsibilities to the public of reporting news objectively and honestly.



Some in the media claim they are striving to avoid stirring up dissension, although they had no problem distorting facts related to the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case and causing nationwide upheavals with their proven misrepresentations.



Others claim black on white crime isn’t inspired by hatred of Caucasians but by poverty and discrimination which, in turn, somehow inspires blacks to attack whites in droves even though worse poverty and discrimination existed years ago and didn’t effect the mayhem we see today.



What most of the lamestreamers won’t admit is that they tailor much of the news to benefit Democrats and, especially, Barack Obama.



Featuring story after story involving black people assaulting, robbing, maiming, and murdering white people might awaken Americans to the reality that there is a one-sided race war in progress in America which could negatively impact Obama’s re-election chances.



Of course, First Lady Michelle Obama is on record as saying that every negative critique of her husband must incorporate a racist component, an odd opinion in light of Obama’s proclamation of a “post-racial America”, and an opinion that puts a damper on any implied criticism and automatically labels the critic a racist.



Lady O’s tactic is a variation on the theory that a great offense trumps any defense.



Noted African-American economist/philosopher/professor/prolific author Thomas Sowell is a keen observer of social trends in the United States. He is also fully cognizant of our race war and often goes on the offensive to illustrate the perils of that ongoing conflict. . .

From the outset, the media coverage of the February 26th, 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida has been skewed, biased, and journalistically disgraceful. The prosecution has demonstrated it is equivalently skewed, biased, and disgraceful. Now that Zimmerman has been arrested and charged with second degree murder, the whole truth is finally seeping out which should dampen the Trayvon fires but I wouldn’t count on that. At the beginning of this racial and legal fiasco, the only surety was that Zimmerman had shot Martin, which he freely admitted. The hype and lies that he was a racist, that he stalked Martin, etc. was just that, hype and lies manufactured by the MSM and exploited by black race hustlers in order to stir up racial unrest. A reputable media would have reported the known facts in the case devoid of editorialized “news” stories designed to paint Zimmerman as a bloodthirsty murderer and Martin as a defenseless youth “hunted down like a rabid dog,” according to Democrat Rep. Frederika Wilson. Instead of objectively reporting the known truth about the case, most of the broadcast, cable, and print media consistently distorted the facts. That distortion was epitomized by the MSM featuring photographs of Zimmerman looking more like a white man when he is actually half-hispanic and depicting Martin as an innocent child when he was actually full grown. In reality, at the time he was killed Martin was anything but a child. He was a strapping, 6 foot, 2 inch 17 year old with a history of school suspensions, drug and gang associations, possession of a burglary tool, and possession of unexplained woman’s jewelry at school. In an unorthodox move, on Friday the shackled Zimmerman courageously waived his Fifth Amendment rights against self incrimination and took the stand at his bond hearing. He said to the Martin family, “I am sorry for the loss of your son. I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am. I did not know if he was armed or not.” The apology was immediately rejected as “self-serving” and “an outrage” by the family attorney, Benjamin Crump, and the prosecution described his testimony as “a media stunt.” Zimmerman was granted bail in the amount of $150,000, a far cry from the million dollars the prosecution sought. More relevantly, Zimmerman never said he was guilty of any crime. Nevertheless, indicative of the state’s intent to convict him of all charges at all costs, the prosecuting attorney then asked him a totally unethical and inappropriate question under cross examination. It’s remarkable that the defendant’s attorneys didn’t strongly object to the misleading question: “After you committed this crime and you spoke to the police, did you ever make that statement to the police? That you were sorry for what you’d done or for their loss?” Equally remarkable is the prosecutor’s apparent obliviousness that no “crime” had yet been established and that Zimmerman is considered innocent under the law until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Now that a cell phone photo has surfaced substantiating Zimmerman’s contention that Martin had slammed his head into the pavement, one would hope the media would be more objectiveis. However, they are still as committed as the state of Florida to exonerating Martin and hanging the defendant. The photo, taken by an eyewitness three minutes after the altercation, graphically shows blood streaming from two deep gashes in the back of his head, wounds that supplement neighbors’ statements that Zimmerman also had a bloody, swollen nose. ABC World News’ Diane Sawyer displayed the picture then proceeded to effectively dismiss it as exculpatory evidence that Zimmerman feared for his life before he shot Martin. . . Some events and people receive insufficient public plaudits for outstanding contributions to the progress of humanity or to exposing political hypocrisy. Other people receive either commendation for their degradation of American culture or scant notice of their foul commentary by the mainstream media.

Following are a few examples of under-reported events and individuals and a number that exemplify the remarkably uncivil and hate-filled atmosphere that permeates America’s left wing.

KUDOS TO:

IRELAND: In a stunning rebuke of the United Nations and evidence that The Land of Saints and Scholars hasn’t totally lost its soul, the government of the Republic of Ireland has refused to accede to U.N. pressure to violate Ireland’s constitution by legalizing the practice of murdering pre-born human babies.

According to National Right to Life News Today, “In rejecting the UN recommendations, Ireland stood by its sovereign right to make its own laws and uphold its constitutional protection for unborn children while assisting mothers during pregnancy and childbirth.”

In doing so, the Irish government has concurred with the Irish people who have repeatedly rejected legalizing abortion in various referenda, a decision never accorded the American people by our government.

BRISTOL PALIN: The eldest daughter of Sarah and Todd Palin has written a letter to President Barack Hussein Obama acquainting him with his hypocrisy and insensitivity toward women, his wife, and his daughters by not condemning Bill Maher for his repulsive comments about the Palins and women in general by not rejecting Maher’s million dollar gift to an Obama PAC.

In her respectful missive, the twenty-one year old Bristol admits her past mistakes in conceiving an out of wedlock child and attests she has found “forgiveness and redemption” in God, something Bill Maher will never find.

Ms. Palin cites Maher’s reference to her Down Syndrome brother saying, I was “f—-d so hard a baby fell out.” She fails to mention Maher’s description of her mother as a “c*nt” and his other misogynistic comments and wonders why the president hasn’t called her to express his indignation and support yet has accepted Maher’s million.

(In a related story, the FLOTUS, Lady O, appeared on Letterman Monday and Dirty Dave obsequiously groveled before his “lovely” guest. There were no references to Maher or to Dirty Dave’s calling Sarah Palin slutty nor to his hilarious comment that Bristol’s underage sister engaged in sex with Alex Rodriquez out in left field at Yankee Stadium.)

BRICKBATS TO:

THE MSM

Brickbats should be tossed in the direction of Obama’s mainstream media which has successfully concealed our president’s radical past and radical agenda as well as condoning obscene and hateful remarks by Obama aficionados.

One recently-uncovered news item concerning the source of the mysterious funding that enabled a poor, semi-black kid from Hawaii to attend prestigious and expensive Harvard University has escaped notice by the MSM.

It turns out, as per the recollections of a humble public servant, a postman who delivered mail to the home of the parents of unrepentant terrorist, Bill Ayers, Obama got to Harvard not on his good looks but thanks to the beneficence of Ayers’ Marxist parents, Tom and Mary Ayers, who thought Obama was a foreigner.

The parents virtually adopted the young Barry Obama and bankrolled Barry’s college expenses since the future president fit the Ayers’ hopes for a communist revolution in America.

The now-retired postman, Allen Hulton, recalls Mary Ayers enthusiastically praising Obama, whom she thought might be Kenyan, and remembers once meeting Obama outside the Ayers’ home. Out of the blue, he told Hulton he planned to become president.

For more than four years, the mainstream media have failed to do their job by reporting on Obama’s connections with any of the Ayers, with Bernardine Dohrn, or with any other revolutionary associates of the president.

It’s impossible to post incisive observations on everything President Barack Obama’s mainstream media report and don’t report on significant stories and events that reflect negatively on their anointed one.

Some stories and events become so public that the MSM is forced to mention them and then, dutifully, bury them in the journalistic graveyard as if they had never happened.

Therefore, in the interests of public service, I present a few Obama-related stories which have either been ignored by the MSM or which the mainstreamers quickly relegated to the scrapheap along with tales of Martians invading Earth and Democrats acting stupidly.

The story of Dems so enamored of their hero that they superimposed a picture of Obama in place of the 50 stars on the American flag, reflecting their total ignorance of proper flag protocols, was briefly covered by the MSM, without commentary on those time-honored protocols.

The next steps might be his face on a trillion dollar bill and Mount Rushmore.

It gets much better or much worse, depending on your political perspective.

. The MSM gave little play to the thoughts of Steven Chu, Obama’s Energy Secretary, on gas prices both before and after he was appointed. Chu, who admitted he doesn’t drive a car, had advocated for European-level gas prices of ten dollars a gallon in the U.S. and repeated that wish even after prices began to soar.

The media also ignored his backtracking in the face of Republican derision and Chu now says, “I no longer share that view. . . Of course, we don’t want the price of gasoline to go up. We want it to go down.”

But, of course!

Outside of the administration, I don’t know who else shared Chu’s view of the benefits of astronomical gas prices. I suspect the nitwit DOE secretary got a call from one of Obama’s henchmen telling him to shut up and retreat from his imbecilic position.

. On a “comedic” front in America’s culture war, black comedian Chris Rock reverted to form and exploded when asked a question by conservative author of Obama Zombies and Hollywood Hypocrites, Jason Mattera.

Last year, Rock had incoherently said in Esquire, “When I see the Tea Party and all this stuff, it actually feels like racism’s almost over. Because this is the last–this is the act up before the sleep. They’re going crazy. They’re insane. You want to get rid of them,” and Mattera asked him to explain his baseless comments.

Instead of clarifying, Rock erupted, ripped the camera out of the hands of Mattera’s camerawoman, hurled it 50 feet, and challenged Mattera to a fight–while Rock was in the protection of two bodyguards.

I have frequently posted articles relating to the bias of the mainstream media when it comes to reporting incidents involving racial violence and hate crimes, which raises the question of whether commenting on black racism constitutes white racism.

I think not, although the MSM would beg to differ and unless propaganda now trumps honesty.

Various members of the MSM have even admitted their censorship of news and defended the practice on the theory that they are preserving social harmony by selectively editing news stories, not publishing the whole truth, or by totally ignoring racist crimes.

In fact, they are instilling a distrust of all media on the part of those aware of the censorship–as well as shirking their journalistic responsibility and subverting journalistic ethics.

Last week, yet another blatant instance of racially-inspired hatred occurred in Kansas City, Missouri although, based on the coverage the story has received, few people will ever hear of it.

A 13 year old, white, eighth-grade boy was heading home from classes at Kansas City’s East High School two blocks away. He almost made it safely.

He was followed by two older, black males who, according to his mother, may have been students at East Hills. They accosted him on his doorstep, poured gasoline on him and set him ablaze.

He managed to extinguish the flames but suffered first degree burns on his face and possible injury to his lungs and eyes and spent hours in a hospital burn unit.

The attack was horrendous enough, the media coverage almost worse.

When Is Racism not Racism?

The answer to the title question of when racism is not racism is as transparent as the Obama administration is opaque: When the MSM or officials don’t want it to be.

Racism is almost always deemed racism when it involves perceived or actual attacks by whites against blacks yet rarely described as such when blacks physically and verbally abuse whites. Examples of the both social anomalies abound with the former getting by far the most media attention and the latter being mostly ignored.

For example, when the “Reverends” Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton display their keen awareness of white racism in virtually everything they disagree with, the MSM reports those perceptions sans comment as if they were biblical truth.

However, when Sen. Charles Grassley proposed making habitual drunk driving a deportable offense for aliens, it was interpreted as racist designed to discriminate against illegals such as President Obama’s drunken Uncle Omar.

When I posted an article titled, “Wisdom from the FLOTUS” examining Michelle Obama’s background, positions, and statements, a commenter strongly defended our First Lady and felt obliged to conclude in his defense, “I think racism is at least a possibility.” (http://bit.ly/wprRoO)

White racism always seems, at the minimum, “a possibility” when whites are accused of assaulting or even offering objective critiques of African-Americans. Black racism is virtually never considered when blacks attack whites, a fact of American life substantiated by the renowned African-American economics professor and poltical commentator, Walter E. Williams.

In an especially honest assessment of the state of racial justice in America today, Prof. Williams said, “In many of these brutal attacks, the news media make no mention of the race of the perpetrators. If it were white racist gangs randomly attacking blacks, the mainstream media would have no hesitation reporting the race of the perps.”

Truer words were never spoken as are the words spoken by Chicago Tribune Gerould Kern who conceded that “Editors for the Los Angeles Times, The New York Times and the Chicago Tribune . . . deliberately censored information about black crime for political reasons. . . to ‘guard against subjecting an entire group of people to suspicion.’ ” (http://bit.ly/mtX5AM)

Foolish me! I always thought the mission of the news media, the very basis for its existence, was to report the news fairly and objectively, not to pick and choose what and how to report predicated on “political reasons,” i.e., what is PC.

Now, granted, the American news media has always had a slant from colonial times through the twenty-first century.

Today, the Washington Times and Fox News lean toward the right, the conservative viewpoint, while the vast majority of news outlets, from the Washington Post to the New York Times to the L.A. Times to CNN to MSNBC report with a liberal slant often so distorted that it’s difficult to distinguish news from editorials.

It may be childish and immature to call someone or some groups dumb although most of us, myself included, have hurled the dumb epithet at one time or another. Personally, lately I've mainly confined my allegations of dumb, stupid, inept, incompetent, etc. to politicians and their lackeys and always with bases in fact.

It’s one thing in casual conversation to call someone or some group dumb when they have acted or spokenly stupidly–Barack Hussein Obama and the Occupy Wall Streeters come to mind. It’s quite another when a formerly-respected journalist and national periodical label an entire political movement “stupid.”

The author of the "stupid" label in this week's Newsweek, which the magazine changed to "dumb" in its headline, was Andrew Sullivan, the conservative turncoat and exceptionally hate-filled homosexual and unabashed Obama-idolator known for his vituperative language. Sullivan is known, too, for his committment to the hackneyed Blame-Bush ruse, pinning all this president's failures on the previous administration.

Still, for Newsweek to publish its weekly featuring the headline, "Why Are Obama's Critics So Dumb?" subtitled, "Andrew Sullivan on the Man with a Plan," is so far beyond the propriety pale that it suggests Sullivan has succumbed to dementia and that one of Obama's prime MSM publications has succumbed to bankruptcy and doesn't give a rat's ass what the public thinks of it.

Actually, Sullivan's dementia speaks for itself and Newsweek is on the verge of going belly-up. . .

Proof that Educated, Classless People Can Become President

Unfortunately, the Constitution doesn’t stipulate that a president has to give a damn for and understand his country, be honest with voters, or have more class than an Occupy Wall Streeter.

College and law school grad, Chicago community organizer, absentee Illinois state senator, constitutional scholar, brief United States senator, current commander-in-chief of our armed forces, and leader of the Free World, Barack Hussein Obama, is devoid of any of those attributes.

He has been acclaimed as the most brilliant chief executive to ever establish residence in the White House despite the fact he is frequently reduced to a gaffe-prone, inarticulate gasbag when his trusty teleprompters aren’t around and he considers it panache to discuss dog droppings.

Go figure.

President George W. Bush was also known to put his foot in his mouth and his “Bushisms” are still lame comic fodder for Leno and Letterman but Bush’s gaffes don’t compare with Obama’s.

Leno, Letterman, and their liberal coterie dare not ridicule The Anointed One, the man Michelle Malkin aptly labeled “the Gaffe Machine” and whose mainstream media customarily ignores or soon buries Obama’s factual mistakes, dumb solecisms, and expressions of outright ignorance.

The president’s frequent excursions into foolery and foolishness have often been documented here and in the rest of the conservative blogosphere even if the MSM pretends they never happened.

There is no need to elaborate on Obama’s 57 states, his reference to “corpsemen,” his inability to speak Austrian, his confusing Jews with janitors and living versus dead Medal of Honors winners, his “intellectual stammering,” or the whole host of his other foul-ups.

They have become the stuff of legend, legendary gaffery which future liberal historians will someday discover and dismiss as vile, misleading partisan claptrap just as Mrs. Obama has dismissed the unflattering revelations of Jodi Kantor in The Obamas.

Two new examples of “misleading partisan claptrap” have recently emerged.

Neither is of monumental significance in the greater scheme of presidential politics although both provide great insight into our beloved leader.

One reveals a heretofore-unknown and shocking facet of Barack Obama’s life, the other displays what most Obamian critics have long known–that he sorely lacks both discretion and class.

President Barack Hussein Obama’s mainstream media’s stranglehold on news it decrees as newsworthy, i.e. news that meshes with the leftist political agenda, is the stuff of contemporary legend. Following the lead of the former “paper of record,” the New York Times, the MSM prints and broadcasts only news that fits.

It remains then for non-mainstream outlets to pick up the slack and disseminate to the public information the MSM censors and buries in liberal socio-political interests.

To be sure, sometimes stories become so public thanks to those rebel outlets that the MSM is compelled to cover them, albeit with a leftist twist if they can get away with it.

Two momentous, and salacious, cases in recent memory which the mainstreamers attempted desperately to conceal, one of which almost brought down a Democrat presidency, another which exposed a Dem darling as a lying adulterer, proved to be major embarrassments to the MSM not because of their smarminess but because they knew about them and failed to report them.

It took the upstart, Matt Drudge, to out the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky outrages and the tabloid rag, the National Enquirer, to reveal the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter affair.

Of course, as always and with a little help from their political friends, the MSM recovered from its abdication of journalistic integrity.

A distinctly unfriendly website, unfriendly to the Left, IOwntheWorld.com, regularly publishes stories and items of interest that even Drudge.com avoids, reports in the news which the MSM wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot keyboard.

Irreverent, iconoclastic, occasionally bawdy, IOTW provides an alternative to Drudge’s wannabe mainstream pretensions and to other websites that filter the news, as well as reporting known truths with an honest spin.

Lest our president feel neglected after the attention paid to his second-in-command in “Biden, the Bumbling Booby,” with all due deference to the Obamassiah, the Big O, the Anointed One, I hereby devote a separate but equal article to Our Leader.

I cited a few of Barack Hussein Obama’s old, new, and always classic instances of dumb and thoughtless gaffes in ”Biden” and some others are so old that his mainstream media have sometimes acknowledged them, if grudgingly.

In that latter category: his geographical confusions, dissing Cambridge police, ridiculing Special Olympics kids, addressing dead soldiers he saw in a Memorial Day audience, inventing an Austrian language, misstating a Kansas tornado death toll of 12 as 10,000, saying the Mideast has plaqued the Mideast for centuries, etc. etc. etc.

Those and his legion of additional screw-ups surpass Biden’s and even Bush-isms but are irrelevant as compared to the central issue surrounding Barack Obama: Is he really anywhere nearly as smart as his MSM have been painting him for years now?

He apparently did graduate from Columbia University and Harvard Law School, though he has adamantly refused to release his transcripts from those prestigious institutions and his years at Columbia are still cloaked in mystery.

He did allegedly teach constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School, though the contents of his lectures are still unknown and he has often disregarded the Constitution.

He did work as a community organizer in Chicago, though who and what he organized and for what purposes are still unclear, and suspect, as are his associations during that period.

The only thing Obama voters truly knew about him when they bought into his undefined hopey-changey mantra in 2008 was that Barack Obama was a brilliant and spectacular orator.

Over the past three years, more objective observers have noticed his orations have been far less than brilliant and his oratorical skills are very questionable. . .

No, those aren’t the opening lines from a steamy novel or the words of Herman Cain’s latest accuser, Sharon Bialek, the first of four of his alleged sexual harassment victims to come forward. Ms. Bialek claims she was shocked, I say shocked, when Cain put his hand up her skirt, “grabbed [her] head and brought it towards his crotch.”

Since Gloria Allred is in Ms. Bialek’s corner, can there be any doubt in her veracity?

However, the man who did the frenching, groping, and guiding was former Vice President Al Gore. His victim, massage therapist Molly Hagerty, described her encounter to Portland, Oregon police soon after tipsy Gore, acting like a giggling, “crazed sex poodle,” tried to seduce her in his Hotel Lucia room in 2006.

After Politico.com broke the unsubstantiated Herman Cain story, every member of Obama’s MSM in the country descended on the allegations as if it were manna from the gods of liberalism because Cain isn’t a Democrat liberal.

Just as with the initial revelations about Democrat Bill Clinton’s Monica Lewinsky affair and Democrat John Edwards’ productive hanky panky with Rielle Hunter, the Portland Tribune was well aware of Molly Hagerty’s claims concerning Democrat Gore but chose not to publicize them despite the fact an official police report was filed and made public by TheSmokingGun.com.

In that report, when Gore ordered a late night massage at the Lucia, he was alleged to have used an alias, “Mr. Stone,” though he is described in the report as “Al Gore, former vice president of the United States of America” and charged with “alleged Sexual Assault.”

They’re done with Michelle Bachmann who was successfully painted as just another stupid, Republican woman like Sarah Palin despite her law degrees and stint as an IRS attorney.

They ignore Gary Johnson, Buddy Roemer, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Jon Huntsman, and Ron Paul because none of them stand a chance of snagging the GOP nomination. They buried Donald Trump under a still-suspect birth certificate and have labeled Herman Cain as nothing more than a token, a pizza store owner. They’re still in process of dismantling Rick Perry with charges of stupidity and blood lust and have made Mitt Romney an Obamacare accomplice.

However, Obama’s Democrats never feared any of them with the gut terror they experience with a 40 year old son of an immigrant, the newly-elected United States senator from the State of Florida, Marco Antonio Rubio.

Right now, Senator Rubio poses the major threat to President Barack Hussein Obama because he’s the anti-Obama, the embodiment of everything the president isn’t–pro-life, pro-balanced budget, pro-family and normal marriage, pro-charter schools, pro-drilling, pro-Second Amendment, pro-strong national defense, pro-real government and tax reform, and pro-border security.

If that were not sufficient to scare the pants off liberals, Rubio opposes Obamacare, amnesty for illegal aliens, phony economic stimuli, endless death row appeals, federal intrusions into public education, crippling cap and trade legislation, card check legislation, and punitive taxation.

Oh, and he loves his country, he’s an hispanic Catholic, and he doesn’t have Dumbo ears, a definite cosmetic plus in our looks-obsessed culture.

What Marco Rubio also has are credentials and credibility, features sorely lacking in the current White House resident.

Born in 1971 to Cuban immigrants–legal immigrants, not the kind Obama favors–graduate of the University of Florida, University of Miami School of Law (cum laude), 5-term member of the Florida House of Representatives, elected Speaker of that body in 2007, published author (without Bill Ayers’ ghostwriting), elected to the United States Senate in 2008, Rubio outshines Obama across the board but isn’t a candidate opposing him.

Jesse William Dirkhising of Prairie Grove, Arkansas was a child of just 13 years when he met his untimely death on September 26th, 1999at the hands of Davis Don Carpenter and Joshua Brown. The tragedy of Jesse’s unspeakably violent murder goes far beyond his passing and the ignominious nature of how he suffered in the process.

The tragedy encompasses society’s disregard for his death when it happened and its failure to remember him and his life after.

The brutality of Jesse’s sadistic torture and murder by the perverted homosexuals Carpenter and Brown wasn’t salved by their convictions and sentences of life imprisonment. The passage of 12 years hasn’t provided any degree of closure, as if that currently-popular term ever has any meaning.

If anything, the continued, studied indifference of the mainstream media toward his death only exacerbates the wounds.

I try to pay annual deference to the memory of Jesse Dirkhising not because it will arouse the MSM to accord his murder retrospective acknowledgement but because he deserves some recognition in a world which would have made him a cause célèbre had his homicide been an act which society abhorred as much as that committed against other innocent victims.

Such a cause was Matthew Shepard.

Shepard’s vicious killing the previous year by two drunken sots in Wyoming evoked media attention the likes of which has rarely been witnessed and resulted in passage of “hate crime” legislation in Washington which now bears Shepard’s name. Jesse’s far more horrific murder gained barely a mention. . .

People are sometimes tough to pigeonhole. Their public personas and statements are often at variance with their private selves and thoughts and we usually don’t learn much about the latter.

Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis was such a person.

Mrs. Kennedy was one of the most beautiful, most beloved, and most discreet women ever to reign as First Lady of the United States. Properly deferring to her husband, she rarely if ever spoke out on controversial issues, as opposed to prior and succeeding graceless Democrat first ladies who have used their unelected positions as platforms to preach, harangue, and run for future office.

That is not to say Jackie didn’t hold strong opinions, she just didn’t air them.

Her views on a noted contemporary won’t get much airing or publicity since they don’t fit well with today’s mainstream media’s chronic case of political correctness and since her views contradict the prevailing attitudes toward an American “icon.” In a word, Jackie thought Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a “terrible” man, so terrible she couldn’t even look at his pictures.

That revelation is heard in long-shelved audio tapes, an “oral history,” which ABC’s Diane Sawyer is featuring on in a two-hour commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of Jack Kennedy’s inauguration as president.

In “Jacqueline Kennedy: In Her Own Words,” words spoken and audiotaped in interviews in 1964 which she insisted not be made public in her lifetime, Jackie expressed a number of opinions all of which will be thought-provoking, some of which aren’t politically correct in 2011.

The rumor mill is all agog over possibilities the tapes may include salacious material on the Kennedys’ private lives although that’s improbable considering Jackie’s demure nature. However, they surely will include her conviction that LBJ was complicit in the president’s murder which will become the major media focus on the tapes.

On the other hand, what will surely get little MSM play is Jackie’s distinctly negative comments on MLK since, well, that’s just not PC.

Among other things, Mrs. Kennedy said, ”I just can’t see a picture of Martin Luther King without thinking, you know, that man’s terrible. . ."

With news evolving at warp speed today, it’s challenging to keep up but I can do it, at least if the news relates to developments of some significance. When the news involves Thomas Jefferson and the mainstream media, it’s definitely in need of updating.

For example, contrary to popular African-American belief, the principal author of America’s Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson, may not have authored children by his slave, Sally Hemings, and she may have been the concubine of Tom’s allegedly randy younger brother, the much less distinguished Randolph Jefferson.

No doubt the debatable Jeffersonian DNA evidence will cause widespread consternation among America’s African-American community which has claimed a Jefferson connection for a decade now, a Thomas Jefferson, not a Randolph Jefferson connection, and has to deflate their genetic pretensions.

The only definite link established by the 1998 DNA match between one of Sally Hemings’ six children, Eston Hemings, and a Jefferson was merely that, a male Jefferson match, not necessarily the Jefferson link.

Robert F. Turner, former University of Virginia professor and Chairman of the Scholars Commission, announced the release of his new book which exposes fallacies in the theory that America’s third president fathered Eston, fallacies largely predicated on circumstantial evidence.

Predictably, the new claims by 12 of the 13 members of Turner’s commission are disputed by various parties with a dog in the Jefferson paternity fight, groups and individuals with a vested interest in the matter.

Leslie G. Bowman, president of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, objectively noted that, “Like the scholars commission . . . the foundation acknowledges there is no way to fully prove or disprove the issue. Our evidence is the same as their evidence–our interpretation of it is different.”

Absent testimony by Sally, Thomas, and Randolph, we will never know the truth.

The truth about the MSM–that it is dominated by liberals, leftists, Democrats, and Obamalovers–is indisputable even as most of the mainstream media continue their absurd pretense of journalistic integrity and objectivity.

Led by the “Old, Grey Lady,” the New York Times which gets greyer and more partisan by the day and which prints all the news it sees fit to print, Obama’s media antedated Obama in their decades-long campaigns to distort news in favor of liberals and liberal points of view at the same time they disparaged, ridiculed, and denounced Republicans and conservatives.

As far back as Dwight Eisenhower whom the media often depicted as a militaristic dolt, through Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, both of whom were customarily characterized as nincompoops–and worse–the media portrayed anyone who didn’t tow the leftist line as serving far above their pay grade.

Richard Nixon and George H. W. Bush 41 escaped those characterizations, Nixon because he carried so much other baggage that attacks on his intelligence would be superfluous, Bush 41 because he was a war hero and a closet liberal. Ironically, those presidents the MSM delighted most in attacking, Ike, Ronaldus Magnus, and GWB, all won second terms.

Dutifully serving as Barack Hussein Obama’s election vanguard, the so-called mainstreamers trotted out their expected salvos early and often in their efforts to decimate Republican contenders for the presidency of every stripe before they could mount a viable threat to their tainted hero. . .

That's no surprise since first, "liberal" and "cable" are largely redundant and, second, FOX dominance has been the prevailing trend for years. Nevertheless, the new numbers published on Drudge.com are startling:

When is a vicious, unprovoked attack on a white man on a New York City subway by 5 black men mouthing anti-white epithets not a hate crime?

When does a noted Las Vegas entrepreneur rip the president of the United States for his business-killing policies and virtually no one in the MSM reports it?

Why, of course when cops deem black racism something other than what it is for PC reasons and when Obama’s mainstream media treat negative commentary on this president to be too insignificant to report in any depth, if at all.

Bronxite Jason Fordell, 29, a self-described little guy, was travelling home at 5 a.m. from a Manhattan gig where he had been peddling his hand-made leather goods when he was harrassed and set upon by four black men for no apparent reason other than the color of his skin.

Hurling epithets such as, “cracker this, white boy this, f—-t this,” the four blacks, encouraged by the rest of the crowded train, assaulted and pummeled him. Since it seemed like so much fun, a fifth African-American jumped in saying, ”Oh, I get a few shots, too” and kicked Fordell in the head. After leaving the train, Fordell was grabbed in a headlock, beaten while he lay on the ground, and robbed of $2900 of his wares.

The victim emerged from the attack with extensive bleeding, a swollen eye, a footprint on his back and neck, and later reported blood in his urine.

Police were only able to arrest the fifth assailant, Barminthe Ramoutar, 54, charging him with felony gang assault and robbery. They refused to characterize the incident as a hate crime since they weren’t certain of the motives behind it or whether racial bias was involved. (http://nydn.us/pGV1H9)

In the Big Apple, a gang of five blacks beating and robbing a lone white while cursing and calling him a cracker white boy doesn’t constitute a hate crime. It’s not bias, it’s simply exercise.

Steve Wynn, CEO of Vegas’ Wynn Resorts, engaged in his own bit of exercise, of the verbal variety, and let loose a barrage of Obama criticism in a conference call, a critique which capsulized this president’s anti-business bias. . . .
