Great Teddy Sighting!

I thought I had scooped the world when I noticed the similarities between the great white shark that made an unexpected appearance off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts and the late “Liberal Lion,” Senator Teddy “Chappaquiddick” Kennedy. However, the perceptive folks at IOwntheWorld.com beat me to it: http://bit.ly/lB1ZWO

Not only did IOTW briefly summarize a Boston Herald story on the event, but they did the Herald one better by capturing the unmistakable Teddy revivivified and transmogrified, floating bloatedly and lazily off his former haunts where some lady named Martha must have tended a vineyard and where the Kennedy clan has cavorted for what seems like forever.

The IOTW photo is in marked distinction to the Herald picture in that the Boston newspaper shows the great white not basking and lolling in the still-coolish and still-exclusive waters off southern Cape Cod but rather sniffing and circling without chomping on a possibly-diseased carcass of a dead minke whale.

Father Joe Kennedy obviously got something through to his one thick son who cheated his way through Harvard, the importance of selectivity . . .
