Rep. Allen West for President!
It was bad enough that Rep. Allen West had to resign his Army commission because he valued the lives of soldiers under his command over an Iraqi jihadist. He should have known that political correctness reigns supreme in America’s military today.
It was bad enough that West went on to become the first black GOP congressman elected in Florida in 134 years. He should have known that African-Americans have no business being Republicans.
It was bad enough that West is a patriotic, conservative American aware of the Islamic terrorist threat and fed up with leftist politics but now he has really gone off the deep end, telling liberals where to go, and it isn’t to Bimini or to any of their other retreats where libs go to dust off their constituents’ detritus.
In a Saturday address at the Palm Beach County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner, West told Washington’s Democrat liberals to go to hell with their liberalism.
As he bluntly said, ”Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else. You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”
Unlike most politicians who pull their punches, West specifically named the Democrats who he thinks should vacate the premises: President Barack Hussein Obama, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
He added that he will not allow Barack Hussein Obama to destroy the nation he, his family and friends have served and if his words meant he will be targeted by the Democrat Party, “Bring it on, baby.”

He could easily have included dozens of other Democrats who should “get the hell out” as well as the entire Occupy movement which, like their political counterparts, is less involved in working to correcting America’s flaws than in destroying, disrupting, and dismantling our country.
Unfortunately, the chances of Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and other leftists complying with West’s order are minimal but we can always hope. Unfortunately, too, Republican presidential hopefuls are currently too immersed in fratricidal warfare to recognize that their divisive bickering will only insure the nation will go to hell when Obama is re-elected in November.
Allen West has indicated he would not be averse to running for the vice presidency. I wonder if he would consider the presidency?

“I thought when we elected a black President, we were going to get a black President. . . . I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting . . . where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants [and says] ’We’ve got a ‘mother@!#$%ing problem here.’ Shoot somebody in the foot.”
The implications in that now infamous spleen-venting were perfectly clear: Real African-Americans packed guns, had foul mouths, were prone to violence, and shoot people. The only racist insults missing are that they’re all lazy and on welfare.
Were Rick Perry or Rick Santorum to utter such slurs during a debate, with or without the mother@!#$%ing, they would be forced to end their candidacies for the Republican nomination for president before you could say mother@!#$%ing. However, the utterer wasn’t a conservative politician but a very liberal loser, Bill Maher and therefore it was perfectly okay and not because Maher wasn’t a politician but because he’s a lib.
You see, liberals aren’t racists, or so they would like us to think. In point of fact, virtually every social policy liberals have articulated, proposed, and passed over the last fifty years has been either race-based, designed to stir the racial or some other pot, or calculated to foster conditions, (unemployment and poverty for example), to exacerbate racial tensions.
The ultimate Democrat goal has been to create a dependency on government and a rock-solid black constituency despite have been the party that fought tooth and nail to defeat Civil Rights legislation in the fifties and sixties. They have largely succeeded and have paved the way for Barack Hussein Obama to carry those goals to fruition.
The chief accomplishment of the granddaddies of social manipulations–LBJ’s Great Society and his War on Poverty–was to substantially destroy once-strong African-American families yet Democrats escaped condemnation for that as well by skillfully employing smoke, mirrors, and an excellent if offensive offense that people like Bill Maher still use today.
It’s believed that the adage “The best defense is a good offense” originated with the 19th century Prussian military theorist, Carl von Clausewitz, but whatever its origins the line has become a staple of countless sports analysts as an observation on how best to win games. It assumes the defense isn’t as porous as that of this year’s Atlanta Falcons.
To be successfully employed in the political arena, the good offense strategy assumes the public won’t scratch beneath the veneer of attack rhetoric and discover all the talk is just a cover for lies and hypocrisy, as with tediously-constant liberal references to conservative racism to conceal liberal bigotry.
Maintaining the good offense while counting on viewers not to look behind the curtain of pretense, just previous to his bigoted description of blacks as gun-slinging hoods, Maher had hypocritically attacked Republicans and Bill O’Reilly . . .

Jay Leno and Dave Letterman either haven’t received the DNC memo with their instructions on their Rick Perry ridiculing/talking points or the Democrats haven’t yet decided how and when to draw their long knives to begin the deconstruction of the Texas governor.
Leno and Letterman barely hit the stage every night before they go on the attack against one or more of the announced and un-announced Republican candidates for president. Letterman is vacationing this week but his arch-enemy Leno is taking up the slack. On Wednesday, The Chin managed to get in no less than five “jokes” about the Republicans, two of them on Michelle Bachmann.
All the yuks are intended in good fun. of course. They joke about Obama, as well–pointing out the imbecilities of Joe Biden, who probably won’t even be on the Obama ticket next year, as if those funnies offer a cloak of even-handedness.
What a joke!
Governor Perry is so far relatively immune from the hilarity, which is surprising.
Other Obama media are taking potshots at the conservative Perry, the Huffington Post among them. For example, HuffPo calls him “Bush Two,” tipping the leftist hand’s anticipated approach to a Perry candidacy, linking him with the much-reviled former president in an obvious intent of tarring and feathering Perry with GWB’s tar and feathers.
That tactic may backfire since many polls indicate Bush 43 is now more popular than Obama One.
In an article on HumanEvents.com titled, “Gov. Rick Perry: The Candidate Obama Would Fear the Most,” Dr. Merrill Matthews, resident scholar with the Institute for Policy Innovation, speculates that, “Perry is the only one who can devastate virtually any Obama claim . . .

When all the Independence Day parades are over, after the hoopla and ballyhoo, the celebrations, the fireworks, the overeating and overimbibing are done with for another year, Americans have to face the reality that the United States is still in dire straits.
To paraphrase Ronald Reagan’s famous question, Are we better off today than we were 30 months ago? Only the insane and the masochistic would answer Yes.
After 2 1/2 years of Obama, the economy is still mired in the doldrums, his stimulus has cost $278,000 per job created, official unemployment is stuck above 9%, our health care system is in being socialized, post-racialism is teetering on the edge of race warfare, illegal aliens continue to pour over our border, the nation is in decline as an international power, wars and rumors of wars abound, the Islamic threat is unabated, gasoline and heating oil prices have skyrocketed, the president has declared class warfare, and we’re on the verge of economic default.
Meanwhile, our leader parties and plays golf.
Obama critics such as Sean Hannity naïvely say it’s incomprehensible that a president of the United States could have planned or desired the current mess we’re in. I beg to differ.
September 11th, 2001 was also incomprehensible. . .

Herman Cain's Republican Prospects
I concede little or no acquaintance with Herman Cain.
He came out of the political blue and burst into the Republican presidential sweepstakes as a nonentity, a candidate with fewer qualifications for the presidency than Barack Hussein Obama–which is saying a great deal. Because of his dearth of experience, I don’t think I could vote for him next year but, considering the rest of the GOP field, who knows?
Should Cain make a serious run, I certainly wouldn’t ignore him. Ignoring him could be interpreted as racist since Herman Cain is an African-American, an odd African-American at that since he’s a rare breed, a Republican conservative black and a Tea Party member to boot!
Liberals, however, basking in their liberality and empty professions of race equality, tend to react to black conservatives like most of us would react to the plague.
Some years ago, pre-Obama, I had hoped another black conservative, J.C. Watts, would run for president. I felt that here was a black man who was clean and articulate, as then-Senator Joe Biden later described Obama, and Watts had the added attraction of being conservative. I gave up on Watts after he proved to be a black racist by abandoning his alleged conservatism by throwing his support and his vote to the most liberal Democrat in the history of the Republic.
For the record, I would also have backed Rep. Allen West had he been around at the time or Condi Rice or Thomas Sowell had they been candidates. Alan Keyes, I’m not so sure about.
I can’t substantiate my view that Watts is a black racist so I’ll let his radical flipflop speak for itself.
Herman Cain, former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza which, like Cain, I had never heard of until recently and which title, should he get the Republican presidential or vice-presidential nomination, would be used by Democrats to beat him over the head without ever saying, “A black pizza man?”) has more going for him than pizzas.
Ballistics mathematician with the U.S. Navy, deputy chairman of the civilian Board of Directors at the Kansas City Federal Reserve, successful businessman, columnist, radio show host, the 65 year old native Georgian worked his way through Morehouse and Purdue and went on to make a name for himself.
He considers Social Security a “scam,” which it is, and he advocates major reform. He wants a reduction in corporate tax rates, which would benefit everyone, he attacks welfare as a dependency system, favors vouchers in education, off-shore drilling, repeal of Obamacare, tightening of our borders, the Defense of Marriage Act, and de-funding Planned Parenthood since he holds the radical belief that life begins at conception.
Cain also enthusiastically supported TARP, bank bailouts, the only real chink in his conservative armor. More about that below.
On foreign policy, he generally favors a hard line and, with respect to Israel, he opposes Obama’s approach of forcing Israel into the indefensible box of its 1967 borders. Cain was caught by the MSM when he muffed a response on the “Palestinian right of return,” which he now endorses but only under Israeli conditions.
That same mainstream media has yet to ask Obama about those 57 states he visited.
Cain threw his hat into the presidential ring on May 21st but seemed to know weeks earlier where his hat was going. . .

Some people are just slow learners.
The New York Republican Party establishment, in which “Rockefeller Republicans” still hold sway, falls into that category. Someone should remind them of what happened nationwide on November 2nd when a resurgent conservative movement gave notice that there was a resurgent conservative movement.
You may recall that old brand of liberal, pseudo-Republicanism dating back to the late fifties which included such illuminati as Nelson Rockefeller, Jacob Javits, and Louis Lefkowitz who were all confirmed RINOs long before the term was created. To a man, they opposed Barry Goldwater for president in 1964 and managed over the years to make the New York Republican Party indistinguishable from the Democrats.
Back in 2009, new age RINOs demonstrated they still knew how to win elections–for Democrats. Then, the New York Conservative Party nominated Doug Hoffman for Congress in a special election in the upstate 23rd CD. Backed by Sarah Palin and the Tea Party and opposed by confirmed RINO Dede Scozzafava and by GOP bigwigs, Hoffman was the clear favorite.
Long story short: Scozzafava dropped out of the race, appropriately on Halloween, endorsed Democrat Bill Owen, and Owen won by 2.3%
Fast forward to 2011 and another upstate special election, in New York’s 26th CD, the seat vacated by Chris Lee after he opted to audition as a centerfold instead of continuing as a congressman. . .

It had to be expected.
With all the vitriol erupting out of both political parties, with the Democrat president skimming the bottom of the approval barrel at 37% and VP Joe Biden calling the imminent midterm election “more important” than 2008, with all the Dem guns–big guns and little guns–out on the hustings trying to salvage what’s salvageable next Tuesday, with a prominent Rhode Island Democrat telling Obama to “shove it,” things were bound to get dirty.
Dirtier, I should say. And they have gotten dirtier, in fact, ugly.
Thus, in Chicago, where strange things seem to happen around election time, and at other times, a few hundred thousand potential mail-in voters may be SOL when it comes to having their choices count because a “glitch” happened. Aside from the absurdity of voting by mail there was another absurdity: their ballots were misdirected to the IDCC, the Illinois Democratic Coordinated Council, and they may not get postmarked by the deadline.
Thus, in Kentucky during the Rand Paul-Jack Conway final debate to make Kentucky voters aware of where their candidates stand, a MoveOn.org operative fell while attempting to disrupt the debate, had her blonde wig ripped off, and then, adding injury to insult, claimed she was stepped on by a Rand supporter.
Thus, at the same debate, a Rand Paul supporter, a woman who recently had had foot surgery and was wearing a surgical boot, had that foot stomped on by a Conway guy. She had her incision torn open but both she and the other stompee refused medical treatment although both filed assault charges.

Christine O'Donnell and Rampaging RINOs
. . . However, this is not about the Tea Party. This is about a Tea Party candidate and her campaign for the Republican Party nomination for the office of United States Senator from the great state of Delaware, Christine O’Donnell.
No relation to Rosie, thank God! Christine is an attractive and personable New Jersey native who has articulated very distinctive and, for 2010, somewhat unorthodox views which put her at odds with the RINO establishment types. Many of them would be more at ease with a Rosie O’Donnell candidacy than with Christine O’Donnell’s.
Christine’s conservative views with regard to personal chastity as well as vicious personal attacks are now being used to defeat her in the same way they were used against Sarah Palin, an early and prime supporter.
That’s a good thing, really. A sure sign of liberal-Democrats’ gut fear of a candidate is the gutter level of their attacks.

. . . However, this is not about the Tea Party. This is about a Tea Party candidate and her campaign for the Republican Party nomination for the office of United States Senator from the great state of Delaware, Christine O’Donnell.
No relation to Rosie, thank God! Christine is an attractive and personable New Jersey native who has articulated very distinctive and, for 2010, somewhat unorthodox views which put her at odds with the RINO establishment types. Many of them would be more at ease with a Rosie O’Donnell candidacy than with Christine O’Donnell’s.
Christine’s conservative views with regard to personal chastity as well as vicious personal attacks are now being used to defeat her in the same way they were used against Sarah Palin, an early and prime supporter.
That’s a good thing, really. A sure sign of liberal-Democrats’ gut fear of a candidate is the gutter level of their attacks.

TEA Party Poll
Just as a ham sandwich can be indicted with a little effort, any poll can be skewed depending on the pre-conceived notions of the poll takers, the wording of the questions, the tone of the questioners, etc.
With that in mind, when a political poll is conducted by CBS News and the New York Times it’s immediately suspect. When the subject of that poll is the participants in the TEA Party phenomenon now sweeping the nation, one should always take the results with a hefty grain of salt.
Nevertheless, the results are interesting even given the decidedly leftist nature of the pollsters.
Based on 1580 respondents in a random telephone sample. of whom 56% were TEA Party supporters, the poll was conducted April 5th-12th. Some of the highlights: . . .

How To Blow Elections
For a political party or for an individual, winning elections is usually a challenging task, an uphill battle–unless you’re the incumbent. On the other hand, losing elections is as easy as pie, as simple as not putting your heart and soul into the task of winning.
Just ask John McCain.
This coming November and two years after that Republicans have a rare opportunity to reclaim the House and Senate and, should they show they’re worth it, to win back the presidency in 2012.
It would be an almost unprecedented achievement, following two successive trouncings by the Democrats after which, just as in 1964 and 1976, they were declared over and done with, dead as a political party by many in the mainstream media.
At this point in time, the off-year election and the presidential election are the Republicans’ to lose given the widespread sentiment of anti-incumbency, the continuing collapse of Obama’s favorability numbers, and of his presidency, and given the overall dissatisfaction among the electorate with the state of the economy and the union.
Americans got more change than they bargained for with Barack Hussein Obama and are more than ready for a reversal.
Nevertheless, with minimal effort, Republicans are eminently capable of losing. . .

She’s pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-card check, pro-tax and spend, in bed with labor unions, and has been endorsed by DailyKos.com.
I’m not referring to Nancy Pelosi or Barbara Boxer. I’m referring to New York State Assmblywoman Dede Scozafazza, the Republican nominee for Congress in New York 23rd CD.
More liberal than many of her Democratic colleagues in the Assembly yet termed a moderate, Scozzafazza is about as moderate as George Soros and her nomination represents the most asinine Republican pick since Rick Lazio ran against Hillary in 2000.
Opposed in the special election on November 3rd by Democrat Bill Owens and the Conservative Party’s Doug Hoffman, Scozafazza’s nomination is a classic example of the political astigmatism and poor memories of the New York State Republicans.
The 23rd and this country as a whole are politically center right and generally reject political extremism of liberal candidates such as Barack Obama unless they successfully cloak that philosophy in rhetorical vagaries, such as Barack Obama did.

Log Cabin "Republicans?"
Log Cabin “Republicans?”
Log Cabin Republicans, a splinter group of homosexual alleged Republicans, remind me of minorities who moved into an exclusively majority neighborhood not because they liked the area or a particular house but for the express purpose of causing a ruckus and gaining publicity for their cause.
It was a tactic used by civil rights activists as well as by unethical realtors who used “blockbusting” to drive prices down and drive majorities out of neighborhoods so they could make a killing.
Such agitators were fairly frequent back in the old days when racial agitation was more commonly employed to achieve the goals of the civil rights movement. In 2009, the bulk of those goals have been achieved, except in the minds of extremists and professional troublemakers who thrive on discord.
Today, except in very rare circumstances, most forms of blockbusting don’t occur. With all the laws on the books regarding racial discrimination, it’s largely unnecessary and a blockbusting realtor could find himself in the hoosegow, bunking with one of those minorities he manipulated to make his killings.
Leroy Tyrone Abdul would probably teach that realtor the meaning of Black Power.
Racial times have changed, whether for the better or worse only the future will tell, but times for the gay Log Cabineers haven’t changed an iota. I once wondered why they advertised themselves as Republicans since there is precious little in national Republican Party platforms that would attract the attention of homosexuals.
They derive their corporate name from Abe Lincoln’s log cabin roots at the same time their name is homosexually suggestive.
Okay, as their website, http://online.logcabin.org/about/, states, they say they believe in “limited government, strong national defense, free markets, low taxes, personal responsibility, and individual liberty,” as traditional Republicans do. They are working to return the party to its “core principles.” However, any number of Republican principles are in direct opposition to their core.
Their site goes on to state that now the “GOP has another chance to choose fairness over discrimination, equality over bigotry, hope over fear, and freedom over oppression. . . . regardless of sexual orientation.”
All nice rhetoric, all predicated on false premises, and all concealing their true purposes, namely to subvert the Grand Old Party and enlist it on the gay side.
Fat chance, at least for true Republicans.
Indicative of how well gays have succeeded in browbeating American society, and the Republican Party, in 2009 is that a search for “gays” and “homosexuals” on GOP.com, http://www.gop.com/splashpage/index.aspx, turns up zero references for the latter and all of three for the former.
Clinton’s military’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” dictum has become the “We dare not even mention them” Republican position for fear of attack by the forces of the powerful gay lobby.
President George W. Bush and Republican “moderates” soundly trashed the long-established limited government precept and Log Cabin Republicans clearly interpret personal responsibilities and individual liberties far differently than most Republicans. Perhaps they misinterpret avoidance of the topic of gays as agreement on gay core “principles.”
The GOP hasn’t, yet, caved to homosexual opportunings. The leadership simply hasn’t the testicular fortitude to tell them where to stick their “principles” . . .
