The Myth of the Sensitive, Tolerant Liberal
A popular misconception created by liberals, is that those dastardly conservatives are mean, nasty, and intolerant. The truth is precisely the opposite.
Little surprises me about liberal insensitivity and intolerance anymore even though some things they say, write, and do shock the conscience of anyone with a modicum of decency.
They have exhibited their true colors over the years, among other exhibitions castigating Sarah Palin for bearing in lieu of aborting her youngest child, calling Laura Ingraham a “talk slut,” ceaseless fat jokes about Chris Christie, and on and on and on.
However, nothing has better exposed liberals-leftists-Democrats for what they are than more recent examples of crude, insensitive intolerance toward Rick Santorum.
Following in the footsteps of such libs as Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, Bill Maher et al., political commentator Alan Colmes feels free to launch viciously outrageous ad hominem salvos at conservatives and, like his fellow bomb-throwers, gets away with it.
Last Monday, Colmes’ hurled his latest insult at GOP presidential contender Santorum during a Fox News segment when he predicted the former Pennsylvania senator’s Iowa surge wouldn’t last.
That evaluation was reasonable though incorrect, the basis for his view was unreasonable and downright nasty.
Colmes speculated that voters would turn on Santorum as soon as they “get a load of some of the crazy things he’s said and done, like taking his two-hour-old baby when it died right after childbirth home and played with it so that his other children would know that the child was real.”
Rich Lowry rightly and promptly jumped all over Colmes for his “cheap shot” in disgracefully impugning both Santorum and his family and misinterpreting Santorum’s actions after the premature birth and sadly-abbreviated two-hour lifespan of baby Gabriel Santorum in 1996.
As John Hayward opined on HumanEvents.com, Colmes’ comment “wasn’t a random slip of the tongue” and was planned to demonstrate how proudly astute he is. Hayward observed that, “For an ostensibly ‘tolerant liberal,’ Colmes is deeply, disturbingly obsessed with cultivating intolerance for this unusual act of devotion.”
“Ostensibly” is the key word. For liberals, sensitivity and tolerance are reserved for people who would have aborted Gabriel instead of attempting to save his life.
That same twisted, restricted sense of “tolerance” extends to how liberals in the mainstream media in America and abroad react to expressions of Muslim faith as opposed to comparable Christian observances.
Basically in the liberal nutshell: Christians bad, Muslims good.
Denver Broncos’ quarterback, Tim Tebow, has been lambasted, ridiculed, and abused for what is termed, Tebowing, i.e. kneeling to thank God for his good fortune. Tebow, a committed Christian, pro-life, decent guy–all of which characteristics rankle liberals–feels it is his right and duty to publicly demonstrate his faith . . . Bill Maher and Real Time Liberal Racism
Bill Maher and Real Time Liberal Racism
“I thought when we elected a black President, we were going to get a black President. . . . I want a real black president. I want him in a meeting . . . where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants [and says] ’We’ve got a ‘mother@!#$%ing problem here.’ Shoot somebody in the foot.”
The implications in that now infamous spleen-venting were perfectly clear: Real African-Americans packed guns, had foul mouths, were prone to violence, and shoot people. The only racist insults missing are that they’re all lazy and on welfare.
Were Rick Perry or Rick Santorum to utter such slurs during a debate, with or without the mother@!#$%ing, they would be forced to end their candidacies for the Republican nomination for president before you could say mother@!#$%ing. However, the utterer wasn’t a conservative politician but a very liberal loser, Bill Maher and therefore it was perfectly okay and not because Maher wasn’t a politician but because he’s a lib.
You see, liberals aren’t racists, or so they would like us to think. In point of fact, virtually every social policy liberals have articulated, proposed, and passed over the last fifty years has been either race-based, designed to stir the racial or some other pot, or calculated to foster conditions, (unemployment and poverty for example), to exacerbate racial tensions.
The ultimate Democrat goal has been to create a dependency on government and a rock-solid black constituency despite have been the party that fought tooth and nail to defeat Civil Rights legislation in the fifties and sixties. They have largely succeeded and have paved the way for Barack Hussein Obama to carry those goals to fruition.
The chief accomplishment of the granddaddies of social manipulations–LBJ’s Great Society and his War on Poverty–was to substantially destroy once-strong African-American families yet Democrats escaped condemnation for that as well by skillfully employing smoke, mirrors, and an excellent if offensive offense that people like Bill Maher still use today.
It’s believed that the adage “The best defense is a good offense” originated with the 19th century Prussian military theorist, Carl von Clausewitz, but whatever its origins the line has become a staple of countless sports analysts as an observation on how best to win games. It assumes the defense isn’t as porous as that of this year’s Atlanta Falcons.
To be successfully employed in the political arena, the good offense strategy assumes the public won’t scratch beneath the veneer of attack rhetoric and discover all the talk is just a cover for lies and hypocrisy, as with tediously-constant liberal references to conservative racism to conceal liberal bigotry.
Maintaining the good offense while counting on viewers not to look behind the curtain of pretense, just previous to his bigoted description of blacks as gun-slinging hoods, Maher had hypocritically attacked Republicans and Bill O’Reilly . . .

Bill Maher on Retardation, Sexism, and Bill Maher
Bill Maher on Retardation, Sexism, and Bill Maher
. . . That depraved indifference escaped the castigation or attention of other libs, just as Maher’s attack on Christianity as the cause of all sexism either escaped Nolte, or met with his full concurrence.
Were Bill Maher were the only member of the liberal-leftist-progressive-Democrat community to demonstrate a marked absence of the most fundamental civility, he could almost be forgiven. Unfortunately, he is not, as shown by equally uncivil and vitriolic viciousness of such people as MSNBC’s Ed Schultz, Rachel Maddow, et al.
Maher will probably be quietly feted and lionized by his lib cohorts despite his sexism and for his soul-less abuse of a defenseless, retarded child since Trig Palin was born to Sarah Palin, a conservative, “bimbo” ”t*at.”

Liberals Exposed, In Every Way
Liberals Exposed, In Every Way
Liberals are a sorry bunch. Since you can’t shoot ‘em, ya gotta love ‘em, sort of, and, it must be admitted they provide a much-needed entertainment factor, sort of.
You have to wonder what’s wrong with them, though. Lib politicians, especially, seem to have a screw loose somewhere when it comes to their aberrant sexual proclivities.
Whether it be the smarminess of Democrat Rep. Anthony Weiner, a story still growing, so to speak, the lustiness of Democrat Sen. Jumping Johnny Edwards or of hooker-loving Democrat Governor Eliot Spitzer, or the midnight truck-stopping of Democrat Governor Jim McGreevey, they appear unable to control themselves which, I guess, is what makes them Dem liberals.
The good news is that most of those pervs reside in the New York area. The bad news is that there are any number of lib “celebs” out there with widespread audiences to whom they spew vile liberal opinion.
Demonstrating that a lack of decorum and class isn’t confined to lib-men, one member of the distaff side, Time reporterette, Nina Burleigh, famously said back in 1998, “I would be happy to give [Bill Clinton] a blowjob just to thank him for keeping abortion legal. I think American women should be lining up with their presidential kneepads on to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs.”
Like I said, classy. (It’s not known whether Bubba collected his reward.)
Pols and oral sex aside, among the sorriest of all liberal celebrities, of sorts, is Bill Maher.
Sam Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, was once asked if he could punch someone famous who would he pick and quickly answered, “Bill Maher. It would be fun to lay that boy out. But I’d look like a bully because he’s so much smaller than I am. ” Joe/Sam’s sentiments are entirely understandable.
Maher, the least funny comedian on the planet who took up political commentary after a failed career as a stand-up comic, is notable in a variety of ways, none of them flattering. However, being an arch-liberal he gets away with doing and saying the most reprehensible things such as when he opined on Obama and the Gulf oil disaster.
Demeaning all African-Americans, the consistently foul-mouthed Maher ranted, “I thought when we elected a black president, we were going to get a black president. . . a real black president. I want him in a meeting with the BP CEOs, you know, where he lifts up his shirt where you can see the gun in his pants. That’s — (in black man voice) ‘we’ve got a motherfu**ing problem here?’ Shoot somebody in the foot.”
Racism is just fine when articulated by a lib. So, too, is misogyny, when the targets are conservative women. Grossly illiberal, intemperate, hypocritical slurs hurled at former Governor Sarah Palin and Rep. Michelle Bachmann are perfectly acceptable in Liberal World. Maher called them “two bimbos,” characterized Palin as “a t*at,” and Bachmann a “c*nt.”
Not a peep emanated from the nation’s preeminent liberal women’s spokeswomen at the National Organization for Women.
The déclassé Maher . . .

2011 April Fools
2011 April Fools
There are so many eligible candidates for 2011′s April Fools Awards that it’s difficult to choose the most worthy but I have narrowed down the best by limiting them to the most current in their various fields. . . Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. April Fools such as Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Charlie Sheen, Bill Maher, David Ferrer, Barry Bonds, and the NYPD rush in when propriety, honesty, decency, and common sense are tossed. Give me good, old fashioned circus clowns anyday!

Smelling Rats
Smelling Rats
I don’t think I’ve ever smelled a rat. Dead mice, yeah, but never a rat. I can only assume that dead rats are as olfactorily offensive as dead mice. I’ve never actually seen rats deserting a sinking ship, either, but I’m guessing they do since diving into the briny sure must beat drowning in a stinking hold.
A particularly offensive and noisome living rat is 55 year old Bill Maher. Best known for his uber-politically correct, thankfully defunct tv show on Comedy Central, “Politically Incorrect” and acting credits in such classic films as ”Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death,” Maher took up political commentary after a failed career as a stand-up comic and has finally said something worth hearing.
Considering the law of averages, it was bound to happen.
In a televised panel discussion with other nonentities, Maher first said of President Obama that, “He’s pretending to be a centrist” and suggested Obama was a hypocrite on gay marriage. He then dropped a blockbuster by saying the president was “not a Christian” as he has claimed but “a secular humanist just like his mother.”
Just incidentally, the atheistic philosophy of secular humanism rejects all faith and dogma in favor of a reliance on reason as a path toward morality, a subjective approach to life which could explain both Obama’s life and his manner of governing.
Of course, Maher found time to slam Iowa Republican caucus members as well, calling them “the children of the corn” and adding that ten of twenty five of them called Obama a Muslim. Do they know what a Muslim is?” See the 3 minute video of all the hilarity here: http://tiny.cc/9kxj8
Let’s just see, now. Mr. Tingles, “Hardball’s” Chris Matthews, who gets thrills up his leg in the presence of Barack Hussein Obama, recently gave support to contentions of the so-called “Birthers” that Obama wasn’t born in America by insisting the president produce his birth certificate. He was just joined by Maher in suggesting the president is a liar. . .
