No, Barney Frank isn’t dead. He isn’t among the deceased but he is being virtually canonized by Long Island’s resident nitwit congressman Steve Israel as “a champion of American families.”

Rep. Israel has one peculiar concept of “family.”

Called “the most powerful homosexual in Congress,” Barney is merely retiring so he can rest up in peace, away from the slings and arrows of political infighting, his scandal-plagued career, and those meanie Republicans who keep dredging up his complicity in the 2008 banking debacle that led to Obama’s continuing Great Recession.

Barney is surrendering his position as ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee, the same committee he headed during the banking meltdown when he and then-Senator Chris Dodd forced financial institutions and their buddies at Frannie Mae and Freddie Mac to loan vast sums of money to people who barely had a pot to pee in.

However, Frank and Dodd felt they should have a shot at the American Dream, and then vote for Frank and Dodd.

Barney’s dream and one of America’s nightmares will be over next year since he has unexpectedly announced he won’t run for re-election after 32 years representing the good, people of the most liberal state in the union, Massachusetts. Democrats will probably turn over his committee job to another class act, Rep. Maxine Waters.

Barney’s reasons for packing it in, so to speak, are debatable.

Although his advancing years and the re-districting of his ultra-safe 4th c.d., home to the leftist bastions of Dartmouth and Wellesley, may have played a part, Barney was somewhat vague in his announcement saying only that he didn’t want to introduce himself to new voters and that he had “other things I’d like to do.”

Good thinking, Barn!

Convincing a whole new electorate that he is still “the liberal lion of the House” and thereby worthy of their vote would be challenging enough for 71 year old Barney. Persuading them that a former owner of a homosexual bordello should represent them could pose an even greater obstacle, even in Massachusetts. . .

Albert Einstein reasonably conjectured that someone who repeats the same behavior expecting dissimilar outcomes must be insane. Based on a recent decision by President Barack Hussein Obama’s Department of Urban Affairs, HUD, everyone in that godforsaken department must be raving maniacs.

Hot on the heels of the 2008 mortgage debacle caused by the government and the resultant near-economic collapse of Western civilization caused in large part by our Democrat leadership and minions’ endorsement and insistence on the “right” of everyone to ”own” their own homes whether they could afford to own their own homes or not, whether they had the slightest inkling on what home ownership entails or not, the Obama powers-that-be are now pushing yet another billion dollar mortgage boondoggle.

Granted, a billion here, a billion there for a near-bankrupt nation doesn’t represent even a hearty spit into an overflowing cesspool but referencing the anarchic drivel espoused by the Beatles in a much different context, “When will they ever learn?” applies in spades to the Obamians.

When it came to inter-personal relationships, Einstein was a doofus but with regard to what constitutes insanity he was right on the mark.

Barney has lots of friends. No, not the purple, cartoon Barney but the ethically-challenged, cartoonish Barney, as in Frank. The inimitable Michelle Malkin calls them “Barney Frank’s Friends with Benefits” and they sure do benefit from their, umm, relationship with the homosexual congressman from Massachusetts’ 4th cd.

Rep. Frank adds a whole new dimension to the term “teflon man.” He seems to get away with more things–ethical, moral, and borderline criminal things–than any individual in Washington principally because he is homosexual and his peers dare not touch him, literally or figuratively speaking. Representing a district which includes uber-liberal bastions, the University of Dartmouth and Hillary Clinton’s alma mater, Wellesley College, doesn’t hurt, either; they consistently and blindly send him back to Congress whatever he does, or doesn’t do.

The most powerful homosexual in D.C., thanks to the House seniority system and to his position as former Chairman and now ranking Democrat on the Financial Services Committee, another of Frank’s machinations has come home to roost. I would say it bit him on the arse but that image could unduly arouse Barney.

Even the Boston Herald took a potshot at Barney in its story headlined, “Barney Frank Knocked on His Fannie,” which details the latest scandal to hit the newswires, Barney’s greasing the skids into a lucrative job for his long-time “companion,” (gay lover), Herb Moses, back in 1991.

Joseph Yossarian in Catch-22 was that if he didn’t want to be killed he had to be sane and since he was technically sane he had to continue to insanely risk his life. Catch-22′s in the Obama administration may not necessarily involve life and death situations but they are nevertheless comparably insane.

Under duress from the new, business-friendly Republican majority in the House and from one of his nemeses, the United States Chamber of Commerce, the business-unfriendly president has ordered a review of regulations that place “unreasonable burdens on business,” regulatory burdens the USCC has labeled a “tsunami.”

So far, so good. Less government always means better government, as Jefferson believed.

Then, lest he erode his leftist support which would much prefer the government control and conduct all business in America, the president dropped his catch-22 executive order bombshell which seeks “the right balance.” That balance between the tsunami of government regulations and a free market would necessitate more government regulations. . .

Never renowned for graciousness in victory, Democrats are proving they can be downright nasty and ignorant in the wake of widespread defeat and the loss of the House of Representatives three weeks ago.

As their leader’s job approval rating keeps slip, slip, slipping away and now wallows at 39%, according to Zogby, (it was 49% less than two months ago), some of Obama’s party have engaged in the blame game even as they tighten their parachute straps. Others are pouting.

One of the pouters and always the most pathetic and now emerging as the most comical member of the Dem leadership, Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts’ 4th CD is bemoaning the loss of his chairmanship of the powerful House Financial services Committee where he has ruled the roost for four years. With Senator Tom Dodd, he effectively did his bit to precipitate the banking collapse although he contends his extended love affair with Fannie Mae exec Herb Moses had absolutely nothing to do with any of that.

Poor Barney, notable and proud Democrat homosexual, was undismayed by being caught with his jockeys down and having an affair with a male prostitute, Stephen L. Gobie, whom he allowed to peddle his services out of his Georgetown basement. He’s dismayed now, however.

Less amusing was Barack Obama’s explanation of why his Dems were roundly trounced on November 2nd. In essence, our brilliant, “philosopher president,” as he has been called, believes the American people were just too damned stupid to understand and appreciate his message.

The last election, according to Obama, was not a repudiation of him or his socialistic policies but rather is attributable to his failure to communicate his message to those millions of voting dolts. His lackeys at MSNBC seconded that excuse . . .

Democrat Congressman Barney Frank’s website gives this quickie introduction: “Barney Frank has been in Congress since 1981. He is the Chairman of the Financial Services Committee. Previously he was a Massachusetts State Representative and an assistant to the Mayor of Boston. He has also taught at several Boston area universities.”

Would that that were all that could be said about the representative of Massachusetts’ 4th c.d.

The second member of the United States House of Representatives to openly declare his homosexuality, in 1987, according to Wikipedia, Barney shares his Newton, MA. duplex with his current “partner,” Jim Ready of Maine when both are in town. Sister to Democrat Ann Lewis, DNC operative and advisor to Hillary Clinton in 2008, Barney’s net worth as of that year was claimed to be $972,150.

Not bad at all for a nice, Jewish boy from Bayonne whose father managed a truck stop and served a year in the clinker.

Wikipedia provides precious little other information about Barney’s “personal life” but does say, correctly, that, “He is considered to be one of the most powerful members of Congress, which also makes him the most powerful homosexual in Congress and he’s never been reticent to exercise that power with gay legislation and causes.

What Wikipedia notably omits are references to the scandals of Rep. Barney Frank, principally consorting with a male prostitute, Steven Gobie, whom he later hired as a “personal assistant” and who used Barney’s Washington basement as a homosexual brothel. Barney’s fellow Dems didn’t see any of that as worthy of expulsion or even of censure.

Deceptive practices have become as commonplace in this Congress and White House as President Obama’s best friend, his trusty teleprompter without which he can’t string 3 sentences together without fouling them up.

The latest congressional outrage came today with Senate passage of the “banking bill” which is as much about payback to special interests as it is about banking. The latest White House outrage came last week with the recess appointment of Dr. Donald Berwick as Obama’s Obamacare Czar.

Question: When Is a Banking Bill Not a Banking Bill? Answer: When it becomes a Social Welfare Reform Bill.

Cobbled together over a year under the direction of Democrat Sen. Chris Dodd and Democrat Rep. Barney Frank, the 2300 or 2400 page–no one seems to have counted the pages or read the thing–”monstrosity” was largely crafted by those two principals who also happen to be two of the prime unindicted criminals in the near-collapse of the banking system.

With no new regulation or oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the 2 quasi-governmental bodies most responsible for that near-collapse, the bill squeaked through on a 60-39 vote thanks to the abdication of three Senate RINOs, Brown, Collins, and Snowe.

Rush Offends Gays! Gasp!

I’ve often said Rush Limbaugh is a bombastic, egotistical, hypocritical, disputatious blowhard. However, he’s our very conservative bombastic, egotistical, hypocritical, disputatious blowhard, and he happens to be correct virtually always in his arguments.

His negative traits may detract from Rush’s overall persona but they have no bearing on his facts and presentation of what he calls “essential truths” and are unrelated to his credibility and accuracy.

For example, as an intermittent but regular listener for 20+ years to the thrice-married Limbaugh, I have never heard him defend or deny his multi-marriages nor to badmouth his exes in any way.

In fact, he speaks very kindly of the fair gender. Whatever his difficulties with maintaining a stable marital union are beyond my ken, and beyond my interest. His prodigious ego or his various wives’ ambitions may be major factors, but what do I know?

He would be grossly hypocritical should he express support for the sanctity of marriage, which he doesn’t, even if he cannot be lauded as a paragon of marital fidelity.

His negative commentaries on gay marriages, however, though attacked by homosexuals as hypocrisy, are entirely within the realm of fair game since gay marriage is such an obvious transgression of natural law, and of common sense.

By far the favorite whipping boy of the Left, Limbaugh is under attack once again, this time for an off-hand yuk about our homosexual brethren.

In reaction to glibly-gay Rep. Barney Frank’s sarcastic response to a town haller questioner asking, “On what planet do you spend most of your time?” Rush punned that, ”Isn’t it an established fact that Barney Frank himself spends most of his time living around Uranus?”

I thought it was a pretty funny, and true, retort by Limbaugh.

As for poking fun at Rep. Frank, I’m sure Barney has been poked before, so he should be used to it. Gays, however, were offended by the joke for some reason.

Tsk, tsk.

“Sarcasm: 1 : a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain; 2 a : a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual” (Merriam-Webster.com)

A low form of wit, sarcasm becomes, in one-on-one discussions, an angry last resort used by those devoid of substantive argument to strike out against an opponent in lieu of the ability to refute contentions of the opposition.

Most of us have used sarcasm at one time or another in adulthood. However, it’s a rhetorical device more associated with childhood repartee when a conflict erupts involving such matters as sandlot baseball disputes or girl tweens arguing over whose bff is a skank or who wears last year’s jeans.

Retorts and invective such as, Your mother wears army boots or, You suck like a Hoover, were common back in the ol’ days. I frankly don’t know what’s in vogue in the tween sarcasm department nowadays.

However, as one SCOTUS justice once said about pornography, I know it when I see it and I know it when I see Rep. Barney Frank, (D. MA), employing it often as a defense mechanism reflective of his, umm, sexual proclivities.

There may be a need for a lie dectector when Obama speaks but there’s no need to read his lips when it comes to Obamapromises.

He has clearly spoken of his intentions on two monumental issues of the day. However, the sheeple were and are still so caught up in his campaign- and media-cultivated messianic aura that they can’t or won’t listen to what the guy says.

Monumental Issue #1: Health Care versus Obamacare

Virtually everyone heard Obama promise that he would make sure every man, woman and child in the United States of America was insured for health care. That’s all well and good, even if that care won’t quite be the same as the cadillac medical/hospital coverage enjoyed by Washington politicians.

The devil is always in those pesky details and in the case of Obamacare, the details could literally kill you.

The president’s “single payer” plan, he says now, will not put private insurance companies out of business. According to the Botox Beauty, Shrieker of the House Pelosi, they’re all evil, immoral villains anyway. Juxtapose her description of private insurers with the historically virtuous, beneficent nature of government and government bureaucrats who send chills up spines when they arrive to help us.

Consider how well they have run the Post Office, Social Security, Medicare, and “Cash for Clunkers.”

But, fret not. Obama says we members of the rabble class will always have the option of sticking with our current insurers, some of which may truly suck but are still preferable to relying on Washington simple servants for our health care.

It won’t happen, can’t happen! Never! It’s absolutely impossible that we would be forced into government insurance, Obama says now, but the man is simply a liar. That has been this socialist president’s scheme all along.

The Perving of America

With economic conditions in the nation being what they are, as Somali pirates stalk the high seas, as China threatens to pull the rug out from under our credit markets, as Islamic terrorists continue to plot yet another 9/11, America’s Congress has more important things on its mind: legalizing “philias.”

For the uninitiated, “philias” refers to every perversion known to mankind, including necrophilia and the very popular, internet favorite, pedophilia. Along with some 545 other “paraphilias,” the Senate of the United States is considering incorporating pedophilia in a new “hate crimes” bill: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/?pageId=97218.

Presumably, gerbilphiliacs would be afforded the most protection under that bill since it passed in the House of Representatives where doe-eyed Rep. Barney Frank rules supreme over wild-eyed Speaker Pelosi when it comes to matters of bestiality and other perversions.

The bill would effectively create a safe zone for perverts, violation of which would result in more severe penalties for any parent whose child had been raped who subsequently shreds the rapist and scatters his remains in a dung heap. Should such parent in the commission of said “hate crime” utter totally unacceptably negative words, such as, “You sick, perverted bastard!” his punishment by our federal authorities could be consignment to a prison in or near Barney Frank’s congressional district.

Initially, I thought this was just another urban legend. No way, thought I, naive I, could or would America’s ostensible leaders even contemplate such legislation. Then again, not being an Obamian, I must have forgotten that our new presidente preached change and voters bought into that change without Obama’s ever defining the specifics of his change.

I wonder how many of his supporters even contemplated changes that would alter the fabric of the nation’s moral core until it became a twisted mass. I suspect many did understand the changes Obama and his Congress had in store for us. I fear the mass of Obama supporters had no clue and, if not today, then not in the too distant future, will deeply regret their choice.

Then it may be too late and the damage may have already been done. The House bill was rammed though the House and passed by a vote of 249-175:(http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll223.xml) It now remains for the Senate to vote yea or nay on whether to endorse this call for congressional approbation of perversion.

One courageous Iowa congressman, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, offered an amendment in committee that was very simple: “The term sexual orientation as used in this act or any amendments to this act does not include pedophilia.” Majority Democrats refused to accept it.

Hold onto your hats, people, and hold onto your kids. The Obama-Barney Frank changes are in process. Those of us who believe in morality and normality are under attack. One, perhaps the final hope on this front, is to speak up and tell your senators what you think about all this and do your bit for what you believe and for what you consider intellectually and morally repulsive.

The Rush for Obama-slation

There’s a plan behind the Obama frenzy to issue and overturn presidential orders and at the root of the frenzy of his fellow Democrats in Congress to propose, pass, and get signed into law legislation which radically changes the American social, economic, and political landscape.

As for actually reading and digesting the import of any bills before Congress votes on them and the president signing them, the prevailing philosophy is: Damn the reading, full speed ahead. Of paramount importance is keeping focused on the election of 2010.

Rahm Emanuel, the president’s version of Karl Rove, must be absolutely giddy over his achievements to date in this very young administration. As Obama’s entourage headed off to Europe en masse, 500 bodies strong, including speech writers, advisors, security personnel, chefs, personal attendants, and designated bottle washers, Rahm must be proud indeed of what they have done so far.

Now comes the biggest challenge to date. The European excursion has multiple purposes but chief among them is Obama’s need to persuade heads of state that Obama is right and that they are all as wrong as snow in April. Whatever the results, they have good reason to be cocky, considering their successes so far.

First, there was the campaign itself, a campaign in which Obama could promise and say virtually anything and commit gaffe after gaffe with impunity, knowing the mass media would cover for him, which it did repeatedly. Maybe, as Obama said, there really are 57 states and the rest of us just haven’t noticed the new arrivals?

Then there were all the promises he made regarding such hot topics as funding embryonic stem cell research, unfetterring gays in the military, shuttering Gitmo, massively increasing spending and taxes, pushing for union-sought card check, wiping out abortion restrictions via FOCA, instituting Cap and Trade, et al. All those initiatives have been fulfilled or are in process of fulfillment.

Our president hasn’t yet made specific proposals on other campaign promises and implicit aims. Sharing the wealth, dismantling the military, stemming the rising seas, restructuring the planet, climbing every mountain, swimming every sea will have to wait for his return so give the man time.

Most recently he tested the opposition waters to see what he could get away with in his quest for dictatorial powers. Obama crossed his Rubicon with his outrageous and unprecedented dismissal by fiat of the CEO of a major American corporation. And there was barely a ripple in the waters.

Call it a power grab or a dictatorial presumption by a power hungry Chief Executive, President Obama tipped his hand with that action. He revealed what some of us have long suspected, that he sees himself far removed from the norm of what a president is and what powers a president should have in a representative democratic republic.

There was good reason for his nickname, the Obamassiah.

GM’s Rick Wagoner ostensibly stepped down at the president’s “behest,” a euphemism for “demand” and took his $22 million dollar parachute with him as he bailed. Anyone who thinks his resignation was in any way voluntary must also think UAW President Ron Gettlefinger will be fired next. Those believers should set out cookies for the Easter Bunny in a few weeks and hope he leaves a few colored eggs.

Obama’s alter ego in the House, Rep. Barney Frank, not one to be reticent despite the many reasons he should hide in the House cloakroom, or bathroom, weighed in with his own scheme to save, protect, and preserve America’s economy.

It’s true. Rep Frank in his role as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, was foiled in the House attempt to impose a confiscatory and unconstitutional tax on bonuses for greedy AIG execs. But he has a default ploy: Let government determine what each and every employee of any firm which was sucker enough to accept bailout bucks deserves as recompense.

Again, no reference to overseeing and approving the salaries of Gettelfinger and other union bigwigs. One does not bite the union hand that feeds, and elects, one.
