More Emails from My Obama Buddies

More Emails from My Obama Buddies

President Barack Hussein Obama’s critics say he has reduced the country to a virtual economic basket case and that he and his re-election team are in process of reducing the presidency of the United States to the level of a carnival side-show with phony come-ons replete with hawking t-shirts and mugs and games of chance.

Well, they may be doing all that but it’s in a good cause–saving the nation from an evil Republican!

I know this because I’m the very proud recipient of personalized emails from various members of the Obama-Biden campaign committee and even some from Barack and Michelle and the vice president! At first, they arrived once or so a week but lately they’ve been filling up my in-box at an amazing rate, clear evidence that my buddies are working really hard.

A cynic might think the email flurry is only designed to raise $$$ for the cash-starved Obama-Biden campaign but I know better. Mostly, they’re intended to demonstrate a friendly effort to keep in touch with their supporters.

What follows are slightly-edited emails I’ve received in the last week, edited because some were very wordy despite how busy, busy, busy Obama and his team are down in D.C. and across the fruited plain. ,

The latest came from the president just today and the poor guy is sounding desperate. He mustn’t have much time to write because he was pretty brief. He asks for $3, of course, to enter his birthday sweepstakes and says, “My upcoming birthday next week could be the last one I celebrate as President of the United States, but that’s not up to me–it’s up to you.”

Yesterday, Juliana Smoot, Deputy Obama-Biden Campaign Manager, said a lot more.

She wrote, ”I’m no good at singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ I hope you’re better, because the President’s inviting two grassroots donors and their guests to celebrate his birthday with him at his home in Chicago on August 12th. Just pitch in $3 or whatever you can to support this campaign, and you’ll be automatically entered for the chance to be there. . . We’ve got a nice spot picked out for the event at the President’s family home in their beautiful South Side neighborhood.”

I thought that was sweet of Juliana but wondered whether the guy who finagled that family home for the Obamas, Tony Rezko, would be there until I remembered Rezko is in prison.

In any event, as always, . . .

Big Sticks and Big Boobs

Big Sticks and Big Boobs

There are many truisms in life–realities that need no further explanations or elaborations to be understood. For example, we all agree that ducks quack and dogs bark and cats retain humans only as pets.

There are also truisms in the entertainment and political worlds that reasonable people fully grasp as almost biblical truth. For example, we know that most entertainers hail from the liberal side of the political spectrum and that most politicians lie. Ok, to be generous, pols tend to dissemble.

Anyone who expects Dirty Dave Letterman to be objective in his political “humor” has to be very confused when Letterman inaccurately and consistently mocks Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney for being cruel to the family dog while never making even a passing, comical reference to Barack Hussein Obama’s eating dogs whose meat was “tough.”

Likewise, anyone who believes White House press flack, Jay Carney, when he says with a straight face that he “never” lies in the face of multiple and proven prevarications in defense of his boss must be bewildered over the serious possibility that virtually everything the Obama administration says and does is a lie.

Sometimes, perceived truisms merge in the entertainment and political universes when politicians inadvertently become entertainers.

All but the most braindead Democrats realize that Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was chosen for that position because he was guaranteed to play the role of the administration’s entertaining clown prince in order to deflect attention from Obama’s frequent gaffes and outright deceptions which make GWB look like a genius.

Senator Biden’s surpassed his pre-nomination ”storybook” description of Obama as ”the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” a classic put-down of blacks, when he lauded Obamacare on a live mic as “a big, #$%@-ing deal,” without the #$%@.

The clown prince may have outdone himself once again and established himself as the biggest boob ever to hold the office that John Nance Garner called “not worth a bucket of warm spit.”

This time, Biden didn’t just come across as obliviously stupid as much as he reflected the oblivious stupidity of the Obama Team who picked him in the first place. . .  (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=22765.)

Barack-Hillary in 2012?

Barack-Hillary in 2012?

Bill Clinton’s old Secretary of Labor, the diminutive Robert Reich with an ego the size of Monica Lewinsky, is predicting a 2012 Democrat Party ticket of Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton to oppose the yet-to-be-designated Republican nominee.

In an article appearing on BusinessInsider.com, Reich concludes, “Obama-Clinton 2012. It’s a natural.”

If that prognostication were not enough to curl conservative hairs, Reich also thinks the bumbler-in-chief, VP Joe Biden, will switch jobs with Hillary and become America’s chief diplomat, Secretary of State, in a second Obama administration.

Alice could not have experienced more bizarre scenarios in that rabbit hole.

Admitting he has no foundation except intuition for his prediction, Reich believes Hillary is needed on the national ticket “to stir the passions” of a disillusioned Democrat base and because “Clinton would help deflect attention from the bad economy and put it on foreign policy, where she and Obama have shined.”

As an added bonus, Hillary would then be on the fast track for the 2016 Dem nomination.

There are more holes in Reich’s theory and in his shining observation than there are on all the golf courses in Hawaii. . .

Biden, the Bumbling Booby

Biden, the Bumbling Booby

At the risk of insulting those tropical sea birds of the gannet family, America’s Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden is a booby of the first order, a master of the gaffe and exemplar of the inane second only to his boss, President Barack Hussein Obama.

Biden’s staff may be even boobier.

After Obama ripped into Americans as “lazy,” he took off on one of his frequent jaunts ending up Down Under where he told Australian students that American school kids had “fallen behind,” an inappropriate though true admission no president should concede to foreigners.

That knock on his own country followed his amazing gaffe while standing on U.S. soil in the reputed land of his birth, Hawaii, and thought he was in Asia and preceded a Bush-like episode in Bali when he couldn’t open a door to a conference room.

Don’t expect to hear much about those stories on Obama’s MSM anymore than you heard much about the 57 states he said he campaigned in, his reference to Navy “corpsemen” when he meant “corps men” or the fact he pays $30,000 each for his kids to attend private school in lieu of the American public schools he badmouthed.

Still, the man a heartbeat away from the presidency, with an able assist from the VP’s staff, gives Obama a run for his money when it comes to screwing things up.

Take that “transparency” the administration had touted as a hallmark and which has become one of its biggest jokes on the American people.

When Politico.com ridicules Biden’s ”closed-door transparency chat” on Thursday, what it termed the “irony in Vice President Biden’s schedule,” it’s pretty clear more than irony was involved. Stupidity might be a better word. . .

Desparate Dems Denying and Lying

Desparate Dems Denying and Lying

Aside from lying and denying, reacting defensively and resorting to outlandishness are sure signs of politicians in trouble. When they lie, deny, get defensive and employ extreme rhetoric, it’s a certainty they’ve gotten a good, rancid whiff of looming defeat.

Based on their recent history, Democrats are evidently smelling electoral catastrophe. It’s one thing when the under-qualified, over-achieving Van Jones makes preposterous assertions, quite another when Democrats of consequence demonstrate palpable fear by their wild flailing.

Like former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former Obama “Green Czar” Van Jones is expected to fabricate lies presented as truth and inanities cloaked as erudite expertise. We can readily dismiss Pelosi’s nutty declaration that women will be dying on floors in droves if House Republicans passed the Protect Life Act and disregard Jones’ praise of the “non-violent” Arab Spring as, respectively, the senseless ravings of an hysterical abortionist and the uninformed jabberings of a pretentious twit.

Less dismissible are the actions and utterances of the Senate Majority Leader and the Vice President even if we allow for their desperation.

Harry Reid has never been a guy to let reason and logic intrude on his ultra-liberal ideology.

He made his confusion vividly clear when he ignored the fact that America was not founded on the principle of public service employment but on free enterprise. The unemployment crisis won’t be solved by government hiring, as Reid believes, but by the private sector expanding and employing more people.

Someone should clue Majority Leader Reid that, contrary to current misconception, we are not yet a socialist nation dependent–and employed–by governments.

In an amazing display of detached reality, Reid said on the floor of the United States Senate, “It’s very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine; it’s the public-sector jobs where we’ve lost huge numbers, and that’s what this [jobs] legislation is all about.”

Sen. Reid’s whereabouts for the past three years must be called into question. Is he totally oblivious of his country’s rock-solid unemployment rate of 9.1% and of the State of Nevada’s 13.4%?

Has he succumbed to the Democrat Party curse of denial in the face of the obvious, is he finally admitting the only way the Obama administration can get 14 million people back to work is by putting them on government payrolls, or is he just loony?

Maybe all of the above.

Vice President Joe Biden, the uncrowned prince of flubs, fluffs, and gaffes– second only to Obama the Gaffe Machine–is showing distinct signs that his advancing years or his own impending unemployment is affecting his brain. . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=5753.)

Bumbling Biden and Irate Iran

Bumbling Biden and Irate Iran

There’s a common thread running through two recent news developments. Interwoven through Vice President Joe Biden’s politically-exaggerated prediction of rapes and murders and Iran’s farcical anger over being implicated in terrorism is the spectre of the man who, in one way or another, emboldens them both, Barack Hussein Obama.

Drudge.com featured two juxtaposed, starkly-contrasting pictures on Wednesday, one of candidate Obama’s October 27, 2008 rally in Pitttsburgh showing his wildly passionate supporters overflowing an arena, the other of his October 11, 2011 appearance in the same venue before mostly-empty seats. Drudge’s caption: “Enthusiasm Gap?”

The photos reflect more than an enthusiasm gap.

They reflect the reasons Joe Biden has gone off the deep end and why the equally-nutty Islamic Government of Iran is tempting fate: Both Biden and Iran know Obama is a one-termer. As a result, Biden has lost what was left of his mind and Iran is figuring it’s now or never to humiliate and terrorize the United States.

Pulling the bizarre card in Flint, Michigan, the always intemperate now totally screwy vice president was ostensibly making a pitch for Obama’s $447 billion American Jobs Act, which his own senate Democrats have effectively buried, when he predicted that more rapes and murders will occur if it isn’t passed.

As if that were not sufficient to scare politicians into backing another massive waste of money, after citing crime stats in lawless Flint, Biden aeemed to invoke the Almighty to attest to salvation granted by virtue of passage of his boss’s original boondoggle in 2009 with the line, “And God only knows what that number would have been had we not been able to get a little bit of help.

God only knows but what He knows mostly is that Joe Biden has reached the end of his tether and should resign himself to the inevitable or simply resign. Before he does, someone should remind him that people rape and murder not because there are fewer cops on the street but because they have no respect for law and other people.

Iran has little respect for much of anything unless it’s governed by sharia law or for anyone unless they adhere to the Islamic “faith.”

Over the last few years, Iran’s titular leader, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, its Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and his fellow “holy men” have demonstrated a profound disrespect for international law, for fundamental human rights, and common decency as they prepare for the establishment of a worldwide Muslim caliphate.

Based on their provocation in vowing to send Iranian warships to within striking distance of America’s shores and now, allegedly, conspiring to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the U.S. and murder countless Americans in the process, they must think their conquest is at hand.

That, or they believe the American president is such a wishy-washy, indecisive, Muslim-loving leader who is on his way out and they might as well seize the opportunity before a real president takes his place. . .

Joe Biden and Cornell Belcher, Liberal Desperados

Joe Biden and Cornell Belcher, Liberal Desperados

Desperate people have a tendency to say desperate things to conceal their desperation but don’t tell the Obamians their desperation is showing. It’s becoming increasingly difficult, though, not to get exasperated over their disregard for truth and their ruthless invective.

Liberals are getting more anxious by the day as their hopes for four more years of Obamamania diminish with every downtick in their leader’s approval ratings, every uptick in the unemployment numbers, every news item revealing the multiple scandals and disarray enveloping their hero’s administration, and evidence the president is becoming isolated and withdrawn.

Still, the extremes to which liberals have been going lately and the outlandish rhetoric they employ suggest a serious disconnect from reality that should be disturbing to liberals and rational people alike.

Vice President Joe Biden and Obama adviser Cornell Belcher are two cases in point of liberals and their thought processes sliding into a dark hole of bleak desperation.

Never at a loss for words, always at a loss for rationality, Biden let slip another doozey last week during his ongoing push for passage of Obama’s ”jobs bill,” which even his Democrat Senate refuses to consider, as he trashed about for excuses for an economy in the toilet.

He is now blaming the Chinese.

More specifically, during an interview with NBC’s David Gregory, America’s clown prince attributed the nation’s worsening economy at least in part to Chinese real estate. He might just as well have blamed the price of tea in the Middle Kingdom. As Biden explained, “There are roughly, depending on the estimate, 30 to 50 million apartment units in China that are vacant and people are worried about the real estate bubble there.”

So, vacant apartments in China are hurting America’s economy? I’m no more an economist than Clueless Joe but attributing any degree of our mess to a Chinese bubble of any sort borders on madness, or Bidenness.

Biden went on to define the cure for what ails us: passage of Obama’s American Jobs Act which would add up to 2 million new jobs to America’s work force. If true and based on previous exaggerations it isn’t, CNS.com points out they would be mostly government jobs, anyway, and the cost of the legislation would probably outweigh its benefits. (http://bit.ly/rtMXwy)

For his part, interviewer Gregory showed a marked lack of inquisitiveness by letting Biden get away with his claims. Had the interviewee been G.W. Bush a few years ago, Gregory and his MSM coterie would have verbally beaten Bush over the head and shoulders for such outlandishness.

Last month, Obama lackey Cornell Belcher showed an even greater disregard for common sense than Biden when he, an African-American, charged GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, an African-American, with being a racist bigot toward African-Americans. . .

Un-blaming Bush

Un-blaming Bush

We all know that former President George W. Bush is the cause of all the ills plaguing America, right? After all, our current president, Barack Hussein Obama, has said so, repeatedly if sometimes indirectly.

However, are Americans aware that Vice President Joe Biden has exonerated Bush, casting considerable doubts on carefully-cultivated conventional liberal-Democrat wisdom?

VP Biden recently undercut his boss’s tired, old economic mantra of “Bush did it,” that GWB is responsible for everything from failed banks to high unemployment to the plunging stock market, as well as for chaos in American schools, rioting in the streets and, probably, for too many fat kids eating Twinkies instead of watercress wraps.

Loose lips may have sunk Allied ships in WWII and it may be too much to hope that loosey-goosey Biden sank Obama with his remarks last week that the albatross of America’s miserable economy should be removed from Bush 43 and hung around his boss’s neck.

More precisely, the vice president, known for speaking his mind even when there’s nothing in it, said, “Right now, understandably–totally legitimate–this [Election 2012] is a referendum on Obama and Biden and the nature of the state of the economy.”

He also termed as irrelevant . . .

Happy Holiday, S.O.B. Barbarians!

Happy Holiday, S.O.B. Barbarians!

Happy Labor Day from the Democrat Party, you barbarian S.O.B. Republicans! Where are the simple days of civility?

I thought former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had scraped the bottom of the empty Democrat barrel and her vacuous brain when she asked at a fundraiser whether Republican kids breathe air.

No, Nance, they and their parents inhale carbon dioxide straight up just to show how tough they are and they even think it’s wise to read legislation prior to passing it.

That Pelosi query can simply be classified as a typically dumb nancy-ism.

What Howard Fineman predicted on “Hardball,” that the Democratic strategy for the presidential and congressional elections will be “down and dirty,” was far from dumb and was reflected in Labor Day remarks by Teamsters President James Hoffa and America’s Vice President Joe Biden.

On a day ostensibly set aside to celebrate the contibutions of workers to the betterment of society, both Hoffa and Biden demeaned the labor movement and the nation.

Hoffa showed he had learned all there is to know about dirty campaigning and the politics of thuggery from his daddy. Biden went him one better by reducing the upcoming presidential campaign to what will probably be the “downed and dirtiest” ever, to war, and not a pretty war at that.

Appearing at a predominantly union labor rally in Detroit on Monday, Hoffa was at his bellicose, reprehensible best in declaring opposition to “a war on workers” and pledged his troops to the president: “President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march!”

For positive reinforcement, he bellowed, “Let’s take these sons of bitches out.”

Parsing that invective, it would seem Hoffa was committing the 1.4 million dues-paying members to enlist or be drafted into his “army” and the “sons of bitches” must refer to any Americans not supporting the re-election of Barack Hussein Obama.

I can almost understand Hoffa’s obvious angst over the labor movement, in view of the collapse of private sector membership from its heyday to a mere 7% of the work force, but does he mean by “taking us out” that he wants us all killed?

He should be reminded that–except for the SEIU and other crazies– the violent union days of the IWW and the UMW are long past and that, in 2011, ”The Sopranos” has been cancelled and we have entered a new age of Obamian civility.

See Jimmy Junior’s videotaped call to arms here: http://bit.ly/nMFkj3.

Hoffa should also be reminded that his father’s body has never been recovered and he should avoid at all costs visiting the New Jersey Meadowlands and the Florida Everglades.

Joe Biden visits lots of places, most recently the Peoples Republic of China where he sucked up to America’s new owner-in-waiting, but unfortunately got back just in time to complement Hoffa’s warlike “sons of bitches” observations with his own obnoxious comments. . .

Unreal and Real Momentous News

Unreal and Real Momentous News

Thanks to IOwntheWorld.com, Spooftimes.com–and the repeal of the Pentagon’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy–rumor has it that “the United States First Homosexual Division, the Fighting Sodomites,” will soon be deploying to Afghanistan.

No word yet on what will be the uniform of the day or the nature of their battle gear but Spooftimes does report that “the ‘Fighting Sodomite Division,’ . . . will be tasked with failed ordnance, or dud bomb inspections, mine clearing, and bomb disposal operations:” http://tiny.cc/5vyk8

In related and actual news, it’s been discovered in George Washington’s papers on file at the Library of Congress that, long before DADT and long before homosexuals became “gay,” someone must have asked about or someone told on a queer guy and a probably straight guy in the Continental Army.

While Washington’s troops were encamped at frigid Valley Forge on March 10, 1778, “Washington approved the dismissal from service of Lt. Frederick Gotthold Enslin for ‘attempting to commit sodomy’ with another soldier,” an act the future commander-in-chief regarded with “abhorrence and detestation.”

It’s not clear how Gotthold got hold of the other soldier but “Enslin’s dismissal came less than two weeks after another soldier, Ensign Anthony Maxwell, was acquitted of the charge of ‘propagating a scandalous report prejudicial to the character of Lt. Enslin. ‘ “ Apparently, that charge was true and verifiable.

Times, they really do change.

Two hundred thirty-two years later at the signing ceremony for repeal of DADT, Vice President Joe Biden didn’t quite say it was “a big f*cking deal” but he was no less efusive: “It’s a good day. It’s a real good day. . . Mr. President, by signing this bill, you will be linking military might with an abiding sense of justice. You’ll be projecting power by promoting fairness, and making the United States military as strong as they can be at a time we need it to be the strongest:” http://tiny.cc/dgeiw

Biden might call it, “power and strength through gaiety.” The Father of our country would call it abhorrent and detestable. . .

Have Tea Partiers Stopped Beating Their Wives?

Have Tea Partiers Stopped Beating Their Wives?

A classic, deceptive rhetorical device involves asking if your opponent has stopped beating his wife yet. The question presupposes that he has beaten his wife in the past and thereby a yes or no response condemns the opponent as a wife-beater.

Nice trick.

Vice President Joe Biden used a variation on the wife-beating trick in his ostensible defense of the Tea Party movement as not a “racist organization” a cute, deceptive rhetorical device. It presupposes that at least some people believe the Tea Party is in fact a racist organization and for those who hadn’t heard that slander, it serves to get it out on the public table.

As he said on “This Week,” with typically-jumbled syntax, ”The truth is that at least elements that were involved in some of the Tea Party folks have expressed racist views. We saw that on television . . . There are individuals who are either members of or on the periphery of some of their things . . . that have expressed really unfortunate comments:” http://tiny.cc/8h7ws

He didn’t explain and wasn’t asked what he saw on TV.

Nor did he criticize outright racism as it exists in the administration’s own Justice Department . . .

Joe Biden and "Recovery Summer"

Joe Biden and "Recovery Summer"

Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. may go down in history as the most quoted VP America has ever had.

Until now, Nixon’s disgraced Vice President Spiro Theodore Agnew may be said to have held that title thanks to his inimitable alliteration such as his classic putdowns. They included “nattering nabobs of negativism,” “pusillanimous pussyfooters,” and “hopeless, hysterical hypochondriacs of history.”

Biden could never hope to match those and doesn’t seem to be much into alliteratiion anyway and his most recent classics aren’t fit for family viewing. Those include his remark to Obama after the passage of Obamacare that “this is a f***ing big deal” and his comment to a custard store manager that he was being “a smarta**” for asking him to cut taxes.

His latest excursion into memorable quotations may not even be Biden’s originally but it’s being associated with him. At least his reference to “recovery summer” is not rated PG 13 like the others. . .

May God Bless Dick Cheney!

May God Bless Dick Cheney!

Former VP Dick Cheney is in an enviable position nowadays.

Freed of the constraints of most politicians– the necessity of being politic in everything they say and do in order to not ruffle any feathers when they run for office again–Cheney is not and no doubt will not ever again seek political office and can say and do anything he damned well pleases.

And he does.

Cheney would probably be more circumspect if his Republican Party were in power in Washington but since it isn’t he has virtual carte blanche to speak his piece.

And he does, in spades.

Characterized by his detractors, who number in the tens of thousands or millions, as everything from an angry curmudgeon to a radical to Republican attack dog to literally insane, Cheney is none of the above. He’s simply a man, a committed patriot, a loving husband and father, and the biggest, most painful thorn in the arses of Democrats since Joe McCarthy.

At this stage of his life, the 69 year old Richard Bruce “Dick” Cheney has just about done it all and could be expected to kick back and just enjoy life at his Jackson, Wyoming or McLean, Virginia digs, but then he wouldn’t be Dick Cheney. . .
