Desparate Dems Denying and Lying
Aside from lying and denying, reacting defensively and resorting to outlandishness are sure signs of politicians in trouble. When they lie, deny, get defensive and employ extreme rhetoric, it’s a certainty they’ve gotten a good, rancid whiff of looming defeat.
Based on their recent history, Democrats are evidently smelling electoral catastrophe. It’s one thing when the under-qualified, over-achieving Van Jones makes preposterous assertions, quite another when Democrats of consequence demonstrate palpable fear by their wild flailing.
Like former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former Obama “Green Czar” Van Jones is expected to fabricate lies presented as truth and inanities cloaked as erudite expertise. We can readily dismiss Pelosi’s nutty declaration that women will be dying on floors in droves if House Republicans passed the Protect Life Act and disregard Jones’ praise of the “non-violent” Arab Spring as, respectively, the senseless ravings of an hysterical abortionist and the uninformed jabberings of a pretentious twit.
Less dismissible are the actions and utterances of the Senate Majority Leader and the Vice President even if we allow for their desperation.
Harry Reid has never been a guy to let reason and logic intrude on his ultra-liberal ideology.
He made his confusion vividly clear when he ignored the fact that America was not founded on the principle of public service employment but on free enterprise. The unemployment crisis won’t be solved by government hiring, as Reid believes, but by the private sector expanding and employing more people.
Someone should clue Majority Leader Reid that, contrary to current misconception, we are not yet a socialist nation dependent–and employed–by governments.
In an amazing display of detached reality, Reid said on the floor of the United States Senate, “It’s very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine; it’s the public-sector jobs where we’ve lost huge numbers, and that’s what this [jobs] legislation is all about.”
Sen. Reid’s whereabouts for the past three years must be called into question. Is he totally oblivious of his country’s rock-solid unemployment rate of 9.1% and of the State of Nevada’s 13.4%?
Has he succumbed to the Democrat Party curse of denial in the face of the obvious, is he finally admitting the only way the Obama administration can get 14 million people back to work is by putting them on government payrolls, or is he just loony?
Maybe all of the above.
Vice President Joe Biden, the uncrowned prince of flubs, fluffs, and gaffes– second only to Obama the Gaffe Machine–is showing distinct signs that his advancing years or his own impending unemployment is affecting his brain. . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=5753.)

Barry Obama, Party Animal
Barry Obama, Party Animal
No one can ever say that anything really bothers our president.
With two wars raging, with our ally, Japan, in catastrophic upheaval, with chaos reigning in our Midwest and in the Mideast, with an economy still mired in unremitted recession, with various other monumental issues facing the nation, Barack Hussein Obama just does his favorite things–partying and playing golf, and he’s reportedly not very good at the latter.
After bemoaning his sad plight as president of the United States and demeaning China and its government, (“Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. . . ‘No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square,’ ” he said according to the New York Times), the Playboy of the American World partied at the Gridiron Club on Saturday.
As a warm-up to those festivities, Obama hit the links for the 61st time since becoming president. Each of those golfing excursions, while he worked on his swing, consumes some five hours of precious presidential time, including motorcading to and fro.
Hey! We shouldn’t expect him to take a bus or to wait in line with other duffers for a tee-time, now could we? Of course not. But we could expect him to put more time in on the job. After all, America didn’t elect some nitwit to lead us, like Joe Biden. Or, did we?
The much-abused George W. Bush was routinely castigated for virtually everything he did and didn’t do during his presidential tenure especially when he retreated to Crawford for working vacations. But Bush stopped playing golf in 2003 saying, ”I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.”
Barack Hussein Obama doesn’t concern himself with such trivia as wars or signals . . .

If Only We Had More Entertainers Like Ben Affleck!
If Only We Had More Entertainers Like Ben Affleck!
Entertainers, whether stage, screen, television, radio, or blogosphere entertainers, are imbued with a gift, an enviable ability infused by stardom which they often confuse with wisdom and which they often employ to inculcate in the masses a sense of righteous, often misdirected, rectitude.
We’ve grown accustomed to egotistical entertainers like Martin Sheen and Lindsay Lohan making public fools of themselves. It’s the more committed types like Sean Penn, Michael Moore, and George Clooney who take themselves so very seriously and who predicate their rants on little else than misinformation and liberal ideology who pose the biggest danger. Ben Affleck is a charter member of that club.
Thirty-eight year old actor-director Ben Affleck, born Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, made his Hollywood mark as the third banana dumb guy in 1997′s “Good Will Hunting,” and has vainly been trying to overcome that dumb stereotype ever since.
An ardent liberal and cause activist, Affleck has campaigned for get-out-the vote drives and has worked tirelessly for the A-T Children’s Project, Feeding America, Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, and the UN’s Refugee Agency, the UNHCR’s Gimme Shelter Campaign. Given all that social activism, it’s tough to see how he crams in time to make movies, but he does and they’re not all bad.
Dumped by Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez, Affleck continued his quest for personal reinvention by marrying Jennifer Garner five years ago and they’re still together. A Democrat liberal to his core, when he’s sufficiently well-heeled he’d like to run for Congress even though previous excursions into politics when he enthusiastically loaned his ego and influence to presidential losers Al Gore, John Kerry, and Hillary Clinton didn’t go very well.
The multi-millionaire Affleck, fresh off attacking American CEOs for their extravagant compensation and after offering his expert opinions on criminology since he starred in “The Town,” is currently on another tear, saving the Congolese, and he wants America to accomplish that salvation.
Dem-libs usually stand in vociferous opposition to any American extranational involvement, especially when a Republican is president, but Affleck is making an exception for the Congo with an African-American residing in the White House. Never reticent, he testified before Congress on Wednesday on the subject of the corrupt, warlike Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is to be distinguished from its neighbor, the somewhat less-corrupt, warlike Republic of the Congo.
In making his case for increased U.S. involvement, Affleck “told Congress that 5 million people have died from civil conflict in that country since 1998.” He didn’t reveal the basis for that catastrophic number but did insist that “The United States government can and should play an active role in ensuring that this November’s elections are free and fair.”
“He called on Congress to provide the Congo with funding for . . .

Dems in Denial and Frustration
Dems in Denial and Frustration
Never renowned for graciousness in victory, Democrats are proving they can be downright nasty and ignorant in the wake of widespread defeat and the loss of the House of Representatives three weeks ago.
As their leader’s job approval rating keeps slip, slip, slipping away and now wallows at 39%, according to Zogby, (it was 49% less than two months ago), some of Obama’s party have engaged in the blame game even as they tighten their parachute straps. Others are pouting.
One of the pouters and always the most pathetic and now emerging as the most comical member of the Dem leadership, Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts’ 4th CD is bemoaning the loss of his chairmanship of the powerful House Financial services Committee where he has ruled the roost for four years. With Senator Tom Dodd, he effectively did his bit to precipitate the banking collapse although he contends his extended love affair with Fannie Mae exec Herb Moses had absolutely nothing to do with any of that.
Poor Barney, notable and proud Democrat homosexual, was undismayed by being caught with his jockeys down and having an affair with a male prostitute, Stephen L. Gobie, whom he allowed to peddle his services out of his Georgetown basement. He’s dismayed now, however.
He may or not have been aware of the double entendre-loaded quality of his moan that serving under incoming, majority Republicans on the Financial Services Committee will be a “great pain in the ass:” http://tiny.cc/qjz71
I’d quess the ever-witty Barney was fully aware of what he was saying and how he said it. After all, what better way to advertise his homosexuality to anyone unaware of how he swings and to gather a recruit or two?
Less amusing was Barack Obama’s explanation of why his Dems were roundly trounced on November 2nd. In essence, our brilliant, “philosopher president,” as he has been called, believes the American people were just too damned stupid to understand and appreciate his message.
The last election, according to Obama, was not a repudiation of him or his socialistic policies but rather is attributable to his failure to communicate his message to those millions of voting dolts. His lackeys at MSNBC seconded that excuse . . .
