More Emails from My Obama Buddies

More Emails from My Obama Buddies

President Barack Hussein Obama’s critics say he has reduced the country to a virtual economic basket case and that he and his re-election team are in process of reducing the presidency of the United States to the level of a carnival side-show with phony come-ons replete with hawking t-shirts and mugs and games of chance.

Well, they may be doing all that but it’s in a good cause–saving the nation from an evil Republican!

I know this because I’m the very proud recipient of personalized emails from various members of the Obama-Biden campaign committee and even some from Barack and Michelle and the vice president! At first, they arrived once or so a week but lately they’ve been filling up my in-box at an amazing rate, clear evidence that my buddies are working really hard.

A cynic might think the email flurry is only designed to raise $$$ for the cash-starved Obama-Biden campaign but I know better. Mostly, they’re intended to demonstrate a friendly effort to keep in touch with their supporters.

What follows are slightly-edited emails I’ve received in the last week, edited because some were very wordy despite how busy, busy, busy Obama and his team are down in D.C. and across the fruited plain. ,

The latest came from the president just today and the poor guy is sounding desperate. He mustn’t have much time to write because he was pretty brief. He asks for $3, of course, to enter his birthday sweepstakes and says, “My upcoming birthday next week could be the last one I celebrate as President of the United States, but that’s not up to me–it’s up to you.”

Yesterday, Juliana Smoot, Deputy Obama-Biden Campaign Manager, said a lot more.

She wrote, ”I’m no good at singing ‘Happy Birthday.’ I hope you’re better, because the President’s inviting two grassroots donors and their guests to celebrate his birthday with him at his home in Chicago on August 12th. Just pitch in $3 or whatever you can to support this campaign, and you’ll be automatically entered for the chance to be there. . . We’ve got a nice spot picked out for the event at the President’s family home in their beautiful South Side neighborhood.”

I thought that was sweet of Juliana but wondered whether the guy who finagled that family home for the Obamas, Tony Rezko, would be there until I remembered Rezko is in prison.

In any event, as always, . . .

Obama and His Fellow Hypocrites, Masterful Poseurs

Obama and His Fellow Hypocrites, Masterful Poseurs

The following recent news stories have been covered on CNS.com but may or may not have been reported by President Barack Hussein Obama’s mainstream media. Probably not since, after all, they are Obama’s MSM.

1. Bill Clinton’s former pollster Stanley Greenberg commented on the possibility of Gov. Mitt Romney picking Condoleeza Rice for his vice presidential running mate.

Greenberg fulfilled his role as an Obamian poseur by comparing the prospect of a Republican choosing a pro-choice VP candidate to the Democrats choosing a segregationist.

Greenberg’s obvious racial/racist reference to Ms. Rice’s African-American heritage betrayed either his gross historical ignorance or his intentional effort to adhere to the Obama’s campaign’s strategy of distorting realities.

The Republican Party was the party of blacks in America from the time Republican Abe Lincoln freed the slaves up until FDR convinced them his raw deal was in their best interests and it was the GOP that stood up against segregationist Democrats such as KKK Grand Kliegel Robert Byrd and Al Gore’s daddy to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

LBJ’s Great Society, which virtually obliterated millions of black family units and rendered more millions of blacks as economic slaves dependent on the government for survival, may have solidified the African-American bloc for Democrats. However, for Greenberg to suggest the Democrat Party is not the Segregation Party is as ludicrous as suggesting Democrats give a damn about the welfare of African-Americans.

2. Clueless and devious White House Press Secretary Jay Carney made the outlandish observation last week that his boss’s 2009 $831 billion economic stimulus package is “widely recognized to have broken the back of the recession.” . . .

Latest Email from the Obama-Biden Campaign

Latest Email from the Obama-Biden Campaign

In view of the facts Barack Hussein Obama hypocritically reneged on his pledge to accept public funding of his 2008 campaign after private donations came pouring in by the hundreds of millions and has now lied about being outspent in both that campaign as well as his successful 2004 run to represent Illinois in the United States Senate and, in general, tends to dissemble quite a bit, the following should be taken with a few grains of salt.

There’s no doubt much of the love, adulation, and money has dried up for Obama this time around as his idolators have come to realize his hopey-changey pitch of four years ago was huge on unwanted change but devoid of any real hope and that Mitt Romney has been raking in the cash lately. Still, the following verbatim email from my good buddy, Jim Messina, Campaign Manager for the president’s re-election, could very well be another crock but I thought I would share it anyway.

FROM Jim Messina, BarackObama.com info@barackobama.com 2:44 PM (2 hours ago)

"Romney and the Republicans announced yesterday that they brought in more than $100 million in June.

For context, that’s about what we raised in April and May combined.

We’re still tallying our own numbers, but this means their gap is getting wider, and if it continues at this pace, it could cost us the election.

If everyone who’s been waiting to give pitches in $3 or more today, we can start reversing this trend in just a few hours.

One hundred million is alarming enough, . . ."

Happy Birthday, America!

Happy Birthday, America!

There have been few times in America’s history more profoundly momentous and more potentially hazardous than the election of 2012 when we choose the man who will lead our great country into 2017.

Actually, that choice is relatively simple.

Do we as a nation decide on November 6th to re-elect Barack Hussein Obama and suffer through four more years of a left wing extremist who has proven himself to be a dangerously incompetent head of state devoid of leadership abilities and love for the United States and our values, a president who has undermined America’s national security and national pride and confidence?

Or do we put aside petty misgivings and differences and elect Governor Mitt Romney, a man who has proven he can lead, who has shown he is much better qualified to guide us out of Obama’s economic cesspool and international quagmires and, perhaps most importantly, believes in his country and our future.

For now, though, we should put politics aside and celebrate America’s birthday! . .

Politics, Presidents, and Polygamy

As I’ve written before, why any sane man would would want to be married to more than woman at the same time is beyond me.

Aside from the fleeting allure of sexual variety, “Sister Wives” notwithstanding, the practice of a man wedding and bedding multiple wives simultaneously strikes me as perverted, as well as extremely stressful on the male’s energies and equanimity.

It’s almost as antithetical to normality as homosexuals engaging in sex with “partners” of the same gender, or marrying them, despite President Barack Hussein Obama’s sudden evolution on the subject of same-sex marriage and even though political correctness now dictates that gay relationships must somehow be considered acceptable “variations” on normality.

Having exhausted most of the Democrat talking points on President Barack Hussein Obama’s agenda to discredit and marginalize Mitt Romney as being out of touch with average Americans because he and his father made a success of their lives, Obama’s faithful have lately been calling Romney’s Mormon religion into question.

In America, religion is supposed to be off limits in elections but liberals, who don’t much respect religion to start with, don’t respect any limits when those limits are at variance with their extremist philosophy.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the other 14 Mormons in Congress–13 of whom are Republicans–are generally exempted from such criticism but none of those senators and congressmen are running for the presidency of the United States.

Not surprisingly, liberal aversion to the possibility of electing a Mormon to the presidency has been spiking.

That reality isn’t surprising since libs are anything but liberal when it comes to anyone or anything seen as illiberal and Latter-Day Saints are strongly opposed to the liberal sacrosanct sacrament of abortion, to the practice of homosexuality, and to the legalization of same-sex marriages, among other cherished liberal rights.

According to an analysis conducted by American National Election Studies, . . .

Europe on Obama

Europe on Obama

A recent post here may require a modicum of revision. Or, may not.

In “Signs of the End of Obama’s Reign?” I posited the view that the disintegration of the president’s support among two prime constituencies could foreshadow his defeat in November.

Based on international opinion, my observation may have been somewhat premature, presuming Americans should give a damn about what envious and crumbling nations think about us.

It’s incontrovertible that President Barack Hussein Obama has lost significant support among black and Jewish communities but he still maintains a (now-qualified) backing of many foreigners.

Most of the world still seems enamored of America’s first semi-black commander in chief, although a distinct patina of disillusionment now clouds his reputation and legacy.

In Germany especially but also in many other countries, Obama has lost the giddy popularity that helped fill stadiums and the airwaves in 2008 with visions of hope, change, and animosity toward Bush43 dancing in European heads.

However, a recent Pew survey of 26,000 people in 21 countries found that approval of Obama’s policies had fallen markedly, that “Overall confidence in Obama and attitudes toward the US have slipped modestly . . . [and] some of the greatest slippage has occurred in Germany.”

Der Spiegel reports that Germans mostly object to Obama’s “unilateralism; his use of force, particularly drone strikes; his inaction with regard to the Israeli-Palestinian situation and his lack of effort in curbing climate change.”

Yet, inexplicably despite those misgivings, 87% of Germans “still have overwhelming confidence in Obama’s overall international leadership. . . And nine out of 10 Germans want to see Obama re-elected.”

That’s the equivalent of believing the guy is a failure but we like him so re-elect him, anyway.

On the flip side, barely half of Germans favorably regard the US, down from 64% since 2009, with Teutonic elders in the forefront of the disapproving. In addition, most Germans and other nationalities perceive China, not America, as the planet’s pre-eminent “economic power.”

Only bankrupt Greece has a lower opinion of us.

So, what conclusions should we draw from all that news and all those percentages?

First of all, Obamians should not be too discouraged because “Obama Girl,” the hottie . . .

Signs of the End of Obama's Reign?

Signs of the End of Obama's Reign?

It may be an exercise in wishful thinking, but there are clear indications that Emperor Barack Hussein Obama’s assaults on the Constitution, his wars against the wealthy and middle class, against religion, against women, against prosperity, against Israel are all taking their toll and his despotic rule may be coming to an end.

In about 146 days, to be precise.

The very welcome signs are not just the obvious ones.

Continued economic stagnation, persistently high unemployment, widespread dismay over a raft of broken promises, and public disgust over admistration scandals and the president’s gaffes, lies, vacations, and golf games certainly will play a major part in Obama’s defeat on November 6th.

However, it is the erosion of his political base that must be giving David Axelrod and Company the hebejebes, if not chronic diarrhea, and causing similar reactions for Empress Michelle. She has to be wondering who will pay for her future extravagances and whether she will remain proud of her country should her hubby lose.

Thanks to the president’s sudden evolution on same-sex marriage and his dubious success in repealing the military’s DADT policy, he still has a lock on the homosexual vote. So, too, will a large majority of Latinos, African-Americans, and Jews cast their ballots for Obama.

Blacks will again vote for him in droves primarily because he is “one of their own” and despite complaints he hasn’t done nearly enough for the black community over the past three and a half years. Latinos will again vote for him in the expectation that with more “flexibility” in a second term Obama will legalize undocumented aliens despite the fact he has failed them.

Jews will again vote for Obama mainly because they have almost always voted for Democrats and despite his well-known antagonism toward the state of Israel and its president, Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, the electoral devil is in the ethnic details.

Obama garnered an unprecedented 93% of black votes in 2008 and, assuredly, most African-Americans will follow suit in 2012 but, based on North Carolina and Spike Lee, he won’t enjoy comparable numbers this year.

According to the authoritative BusinessInsider.com, the “Democrat-leaning” Public Policy Polling has found that Republican Mitt Romney would get 20% of the African-American vote and Barack Obama 76%.

That’s a comfortable margin for the president until one considers that in 2008 he won with 95% of the N.C. tally and Romney is now beating Obama 48% to 46% in the state. (http://tinyurl.com/6tux346)

If those figures don’t cause Axelrod to head for the Kaopectate, Spike Lee’s doubts on the re-election results should. . .

Romney's Strategy for Losing the Election

Romney's Strategy for Losing the Election

With Barack Hussein Obama’s candidacy on the ropes thanks mainly to his ineptness and far-out ideology, Mitt Romney could very well be America’s next president if he really wanted to be.

Apparently, he doesn’t.

Our economy is stuck in the doldrums, the unemployment rate stands at 8.1%, Obama’s “evolution” on homosexuals marrying other homosexuals alienated what remained of his support among Christians and other traditionalists, and now it’s been reported that his former literary agent said he was “born in Kenya” and his old spiritual adviser has ratted him out.

Had Mitt Romney written the script for his becoming the 45th president of the United States, he couldn’t have done any better.

Yet, Romney is on the verge of blowing it by taking the high road, the same road to ignominious defeat travelled by Sen. John McCain in 2008.

Four years ago, McCain opted against winning the presidency by telling it like it is about the character of his Democrat opponent and instead ran an ultra-principled race devoid of any references to Obama’s character or his toxic past.

He thereby removed the most potent evidence that the junior senator from Illinois was an extremist who would cause great harm to the country. That evidence, combined with Obama’s lack of experience, qualifications, and moral rectitude, could have resulted in an implosion of the presumptuous Obama campaign and given the U.S. a war hero and seasoned statesman as president in lieu of a “neighborhood organizer.”

McCain chose to ignore Obama’s tainted background, his close associations with extremist domestic terrorists such as Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, and his 20 years in sitting in the pews of black racist Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright’s Trinity United Church while Wright spewed his hateful venom against white people and our country.

McCain lost, America lost, and the United States was saddled with the most left wing, most divisive, most incompetent, most pro-abortion, and the most disastrous leader in our history, Jimmy Carter not excepted.

Mah Buddy Barry, aka Barack (Part Two)

(This be the second part after the first part on mah buddy Barry. You can read dat first part here if yo wants to and if yo dont wants to who cares! http://bit.ly/I9LTCJ.)

In One ah wuz talking bout all dose emails ah gets from my bud Barry an his homies moochin fo money. Dey piss me off. Dis is a lil differant.

On Monday, Jimmy, (dat would be Jim Messina, head honky honcho fo da “Obama for America” campaign), emailed me for “input,” my sugestions in a survey on how we can make shure Barry gets fo more years in the White House.

We damn well don’t want dat moron Mormon guy moving on up to our place with all his ugly wives and his jerk-off ideas about people working for a livin and not survivin on food stamps. Do we?

On top of everything, ah heard dat Mit Romney believes in poligmy tho ah dont see nothin wrong with having a haarem of bitches. We all do dat, right? Why he would marry them tho is stupid.

Barrys fam back where he wuz born in kenya all had a bunch of wives–da men folk that is–and his daddy liked wut we call VARIETY, if yo catch my meaning and no one made a big fuss about dat!

As my new bud Jimmy put it, “Together, we’ve done some amazing work building this campaign so far. But I know that we’re in for a tough fight ahead, and we’ll need your voices and leadership if we want to win on Election Day.”

Ahm not exactly sure what “amazin work” has been acomplished and I ain’t been a leader since my dayz in the hood but, hey, if Barry’s boy Jimmy says so it must be so and if my boy Barry needs me, I’m there! But not there with money!!!! Dat boy has enuff of dat!!

As for fights, ah agrees with Barry when he said if da honky bring a knife to a fight, we brings a gun even tho we always have a knife on us, as dey say, just in case. Dat was good advise tho.

You can hep Barry and Jimmy by completin Jimmy’s survey. It has questions on what we think about the Buffet Rule, “taking the fight to al-Qaeda,” and “Ending ’Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ “. (http://bit.ly/Jqdb7P)

Look, ah never pay any taxes but if dose dumbass Repubs would jest stop being assholes and pass dat Buffet Rule, Waren would pay as much as his secratary and we could run the gubmint for a while, a few days mebbe but a few days is a few days right? . . . The Race Card, the Race Pot, and the Race for the Presidency

The Race Card, the Race Pot, and the Race for the Presidency

Many millions of Americans assumed the race issue in this country was finally behind us after the election of the nation’s first black president in 2008.

After all, Barack Hussein Obama suggested as much, voters had expiated their baseless white guilt over slavery by voting for a black man, and African-Americans were elated over their achievement in nominating and electing, as my Irish mother would say, “one of their own.”

It was widely hoped that America had entered a new era of racial harmony with Obama’s inauguration.

Guess what? We didn’t and, in fact, race relations are far worse now than they had been in many decades and for a very good reason: The Obamas themselves continue to stir the race pot in order to keep it boiling through November and beyond.

Stirring, stirring, stirring.

Instead of attempting to fulfill his pledge to minimize the differences between people, to emphasize that the content of one’s character and not the color of one’s skin is what matters most, the president accents our differences by playing the always-electorally-potent race card.

What matters most to Obama is getting re-elected at any cost.

As he said last week at a D.C. fundraiser, “The very core of what this country stands for is on the line–the basic promise that no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from, this is a place where you could make it if you try.”

That idea of appearances over substance reiterated what Obama said to Latinos in October: “I believe America should be a place where you can always make it if you try; a place where every child, no matter what they look like, where they come from, should have a chance to succeed.”

No slouch when it comes to racial pot-stirring, the not “angry black woman” Michelle Obama asked a rhetorical question at yet another fundraiser: ”Will we give every child–every child–a chance to succeed, no matter where she’s from, or what she looks like?” (http://bit.ly/xyk6Up)

Could the theme of what we “look like” be code for race? Do bears defecate in the woods?

Regardless of where bears do their business, race agitator Rev. Al Sharpton now does his on MSNBC and never misses a chance to stir the pot, toss some incendiary racial ingredient into it, or make certain one of his talk show guests does.

South Carolina Democrat Party Chairman Dick Harpootlian served that function in a discussion on the election in which Harpootlian managed to link Monday’s Republican debate in South Carolina with racism, states’ rights, Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, and the election of 1860–all within less than two minutes.

Harpootlian demonstrated his short memory by forgetting his Democrats debated on MLK Day 20008 and the dearth of his historical expertise when he said Lincoln signed the Emancipation Declaration in 1860–when the Civil War hadn’t even begun. Sharpton and his fellow black commentator Melissa Harris-Perry took it from there and lambasted Republicans for virtually desecrating MLK Day by debating as evidence of their innate racism. . .

Hillary-Barry, in that Order

Hillary-Barry, in that Order

Many Americans consider the Barack Hussein Obama administration the worst of all American political worlds, the be-all-end-all epitome of the depths to which the nation could possibly sink, the ultimate catastrophe for our country.

It’s entirely possible that, as Andy Bachman warbled, “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet.”

Consider this: Obama is wallowed in a well-deserved wallow of popular disapproval. He has declared his understanding that his could be a one-term presidency. He and his lovely bride have been milking his office for all it’s worth as if in anticipation that he too will be jobless after next year. He has offered no viable solutions to alleviate the nation’s unemployment issues nor for any other pressing domestic or international problems.

I think he wants out, at least for now.

So, what does Barry do?

(Obama, of course, could win next November with or without Joe Biden but for the purposes of this analysis–and my own sanity–I’m just examining his other options.)

He could simply resign his office within the next year, a very unlikely act which would put him in the Tricky Dickie class of loser presidents. He could continue on to the bitter end, be humiliated in an election landslide, and slink off into the dark pages of history, He could pull a Carter by spending the rest of his days trying to build a legacy predicated on fantasy. He could dump Biden in favor of Hillary Clinton, not a likelihood since it assumes Hil would agree to be his second banana.

And he could take the high road, claim he was acting in the best interests of the nation, appear as the consummate hero of the Democrat Party by accepting the nomination as vice president on a Hillary ticket to serve as her junior, seasoned adviser.

Unprecedented? Yes. Absurd? Not at all.

Is it any more inconceivable than the incredible absurdity of a two-year U.S. senator with precious little experience in anything other than functioning as a neighborhood organizer on Chicago’s mean streets and as an inconsequential Illinois state senator becoming president of the United States?

At 51, Obama will be a virtual babe in the woods next Election Day, far too young to retire into political oblivion. He is insatiably egotistical and ambitious but very unpopular outside his core black, socialist, union, and homosexual constituencies. . .

Beyond July 4th, 2011, Toward November 6th, 2011

Beyond July 4th, 2011, Toward November 6th, 2012

When all the Independence Day parades are over, after the hoopla and ballyhoo, the celebrations, the fireworks, the overeating and overimbibing are done with for another year, Americans have to face the reality that the United States is still in dire straits.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan’s famous question, Are we better off today than we were 30 months ago? Only the insane and the masochistic would answer Yes.

After 2 1/2 years of Obama, the economy is still mired in the doldrums, his stimulus has cost $278,000 per job created, official unemployment is stuck above 9%, our health care system is in being socialized, post-racialism is teetering on the edge of race warfare, illegal aliens continue to pour over our border, the nation is in decline as an international power, wars and rumors of wars abound, the Islamic threat is unabated, gasoline and heating oil prices have skyrocketed, the president has declared class warfare, and we’re on the verge of economic default.

Meanwhile, our leader parties and plays golf.

Obama critics such as Sean Hannity naïvely say it’s incomprehensible that a president of the United States could have planned or desired the current mess we’re in. I beg to differ.

September 11th, 2001 was also incomprehensible. . .

Obama's Re-Election

Obama's Re-Election

From a child’s perspective, seventeen months is a virtual eternity. From an American political perspective, it’s virtually around the corner. November 6th, 2012, when Americans will once again choose who will lead them for four long years, is little more than seventeen months down the road.

America’s choice of a leader has, literally, never been more momentous.

The economy wallows in the doldrums amost a year after Vice President Joe Biden proclaimed 2010′s “Summer of Recovery,” a recovery yet to be experienced by the 14 million jobless. Obama’s “stimulus” has chiefly stimulated government employment, a skyrocketing deficit and national debt, and impending stagflation. Americans have either lost their homes or trillions in home equity. Socialized medicine is now the law.

And, that’s only on the domestic front.

Internationally, we have lost even more, in respect from our allies, increased belligerence from our enemies, and more and more of our brave troops dying in war zones. Months ago, we took up arms under the guise of a NATO operation in the Libyan hellhole in a “kinetic action” which we were promised would involve weeks. The much-reviled terrorist prison at Guantanomo is still open.

Nevertheless, whether one is an avid supporter of Barack Hussein Obama’s re-election or one who regards that prospect as nothing less than the absolute worst eventuality since September 11th, 2001, seventeen months from now President Barack Hussein Obama will again visit Chicago’s Grant Park to announce to screaming worshippers that he had been re-elected.

It doesn’t make sense but no one ever alleged American politics made sense.

What does make sense is Obama’s successful brand of Chicago take-no-prisoners, brook-no-opposition, tell-’em-what-they-wanna-hear-then-do-whatever-you-damned-well-please technique. Couple that philosophy with endless campaigning which has now gone on for at least four years, with creation of an unprecedented national dependency and other policies designed to cement a plurality, with certain constituencies and demographic elements, Obama is a sure winner.

Compounding the challenge for Republicans next year is the fact that no viable candidate has yet emerged although that’s all but incidental in view of the Obama Machine already in full battle mode and dedicated to his re-election at all costs. In fact, too, regardless of all the other elements–although they are all interrelated–it’s those “certain constituencies and demographic elements” that will insure a Republican defeat. . .

Bad News/Good News for Obama

Bad News/Good News for Obama

The president received some bad news and some very good news on Tuesday. The inventor of the single, technological innovation that made Obama what he is today, Herbert J. “Hub” Schlafly, died and Tavis Smiley predicted the 2012 election would be “the most racist” ever.

Schlafly invented the teleprompter over 50 years ago to help soap actors remember their lines but politicians have utilized the device to even greater advantage, to give the illusion they are presenting memorized speeches whereas every word is spelled out for them on their teleprompters.

ABCNews.com is quick to point out that, “In truth, every President since Dwight D. Eisenhower, excepting Nixon, has used one for major speeches in Congress.” (http://abcn.ws/eTy1pn) However, ABC omits another, more relevant, truth that no president in history has used his trusty teleprompters as extensively for major and minor speeches, to Congress and to virtually anyone else who was listening.

One has to maintain the façade of oratorical eloquence when such a façade is created for one. Barack Hussein Obama owes a deep debt to gratitude to “Hub” Schlafly.

Obama also owes a debt of gratitude to Tavis Smiley, the ethnocentric African-American PBS host who alone gives reason to de-fund PBS. Smiley was all exercised last year over Obama’s failure to exclusively focus on the needs of blacks in America. As Smiley dramatically resolved, “I was compelled to [call for 'a black agenda'] because of this debate” and called together a blue ribbon panel to discuss the matter.

He invited such black luminaries as the racial agitator Reverend Jesse Jackson, the racist Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan, and radical black professor, Cornel West, among others to join the discussion: http://bit.ly/gr0xMf

Well, Smiley is back in the news, this time for his prediction, where else but on MSNBC, that we’re headed for a racist election. . .

Another Day that May Live in Infamy Part One

Another Day that May Live in Infamy Part One

Almost 70 years ago, on December 7th, 1941, America sustained a total of 2,896 mostly military casualties at a little known naval base at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese navy staged a massive sneak attack. It took years but we eventually recovered from what FDR termed “a day which will live in infamy.”

More than nine years ago, on September 11th, 2001, America sustained a total of 2,977 mostly civilian deaths when 19 Islamic reprobates attacked the Pentagon and the World Trade Center. Again, it has taken years but we have substantially recovered, physically if not psychologically.

On Election Day, November 6, 2012 we may or may not be attacked again by Muslim terrorists in our seemingly endless war with Islam. Should that attack come to pass, barring the unimaginable, it still won’t pack the equivalent and immediate emotional shot to America’s gut that Japan’s unprovoked sneak attack on Pearl Harbor or even the devastating attacks of 9/11 accomplished.

Today, according to Obama, in cock-sure concurrence with Muslim-American political commentator, Fareed Zakaria, we are allegedly ready for anything including nuclear terrorism from which we are well able to “bounce back:” http://tiny.cc/p1jmm

Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto’s nightmare of a “sleeping giant” awoke in 1941 and defeated the Axis powers less than four years later; America has yet to fully awaken to the deadly nature of the threat posed by Islam and we are still at war with the Muslim world, fighting their war instead of fighting to win.

However, whatever happens in that endless war, we will assuredly ”bounce back” because, well, because Obama has told us so, which is damned good to hear . . .
