Chick-fil-A Versus the Loonie Left

Chick-fil-A Versus the Loonie Left

What is it about free speech that the Left doesn’t get?

Do they have a problem about our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech because they take issue with those fundamental freedoms or do they only have selective objections to what people say and believe?

They certainly have no problem with fellow Leftists such as those in the Occupy movement spouting anti-Semitic, anti-capitalism, anti-Americanism, anti-civilized society sentiments but when it comes to expressions of Christian conservative beliefs in normality they always seem to get their panties in a wad.

The latest target of Leftist venom is Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, son of the fast-chicken-food company’s founder, S. Truett Cathy.

The Leftist homosexual lobby is incensed with Cathy due to his “support of the traditional family” and his disagreement with President Barack Hussein Obama’s recent “evolution” on same-sex marriage.

Cathy merely gave his opinion that, ”We are very much supportive of the family–the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that. . . we know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.”

Good grief! In a single sentence, Cathy invoked God, the Lord, and the Bible, all terms anathema to the Left!

Well, Mr. Cathy, you can share your values and operate on all the biblical principles you want but when those Leftist panties get wadded, watch out! The purveyors of negativism lose what remains of their minds!

For example, former Obama Chief of Staff and current Chicago mayor Rahm “Dead Fish” Emanuel presides over a city where murder is a favorite outdoor and indoor sport and unemployment is rampant. Yet he felt compelled to inveigh against Chick-fil-A’s plans to build two more stores in Chicago because of Dan Cathy’s pro-family remarks.

As the Windy City’s first Jewish mayor ranted, “Chick-fil-A’s values are not Chicago values. They’re not respectful of our residents, our neighbors and our family members . . . What the CEO has said as it relates to gay marriage and gay couples is not what I believe, but more importantly, it’s not what the people of Chicago believe. . . who we are as a city.” (http://tinyurl.com/d5te5dz)

Chicago is pretty far gone but to my knowledge Chicagoans haven’t passed a referendum confirming what they believe or whether they prefer political correctness over a delicious spicy chicken sandwich deluxe.

Much like another Jewish mayor, New York City’s Mike Bloomberg, who dictates how many ounces of soda and how much sodium and how mny trans-fats New Yorkers can consume, Emanuel wants to mandate how much Chick-fil-A chicken is consumed, if any.

Apparently, Emanuel thinks murder, unemployment, and black racist Louis Farrakhan are more in line with what Chicagoans want since he has done nothing to stem the 40% surge in homicides or create jobs and has welcomed Farrakhan to his fair city to help keep the peace.

Boston’s Democrat Mayor Thomas Mannino also attacked Cathy in a letter last week (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=27284.)

In Defense of Joe Paterno

In Defense of Joe Paterno

No one would or should dispute the reputability of former FBI Director Louis Freeh, which is not to say all of Freeh’s conclusions in his investigation of the Penn State pedophile scandal are indisputable.

This defense of Joe Paterno in no way intends to mitigate the physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering sustained by the young boys who were molested, raped, violated at the hands of serial homosexual pedophile Jerry Sandusky but is rather intended to provide some perspective on another Sandusky victim.

It must first be said that Joe Paterno was wrong.

It must also be said that Joe Paterno represented all that was good in collegiate athletics today not only because of his 409 victories while he was coaching the Nittany Lions, his 18 bowl victories, his record 37 bowl appearances, his two national championships, his five undefeated, untied seasons, his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, or the other awards he received.

His greatest contribution to college athletics was his insistence that his players lead decent lives and actually attend and pass their courses, requisites sorely missing in too many university sport programs.

However, all that went for nought after the Sandusky scandal.

Paterno was wrong in foolishly following established PSU protocol of reporting to his superiors Sandusky’s child abuse but not notifying police. He was wrong in naively trusting that Penn State officials would do the right thing and alert local police of the child rape witnessed by Assistant Coach Mike McQueary. If true, he was very wrong in persuading those PSU officials in 2001 not to notify authorities about Sandusky’s aberrant behavior but Mr. Freeh seemed to draw that damning conclusion based more on supposition than factual evidence.

It was not Joe Pa’s legal responsibility to take further action although it was his moral and ethical duty to insure the officials performed theirs.

That said, his negligence cost Paterno dearly.

At the age of 85, JoePa died of cancer on January 22nd, 2012 just two months after being fired as head coach at the school he deeply loved and which loved him for his character and for 62 years service. People who knew Paterno best believe he died of a broken heart. His family contends Mr. Freeh’s report grossly misrepresented his responsibility in the Sandusky horror.

Fortunately, Paterno didn’t live to see his reputation, his legacy, his life completely trashed by Mr. Freeh’s report nor did he witness the senseless removal of his statue from the front of Beaver Stadium where it had stood for eleven years, a removal completed even before the NCAA announced the draconian punishments to be imposed on Penn State and its football program.

The seven foot high monument erected in 2001 to honor Paterno’s record 324th Division I coaching victory and his “contributions to the university” . . .

Jane Pitt, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, and Gays

Jane Pitt, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, and Gays

Strangely, WND.com seemed shocked at the expected, disgusting reactions of homosexuals to actor Brad Pitt’s mother’s recent letter to the editor of her local newspaper criticizing Democrat President Barack Hussein Obama and endorsing the candidacy of Republican Mitt Romney for the presidency.

Those reactions have served gays’ purposes of intimidating an elderly woman into fearful silence for daring to exercise her constitutional right to free speech at the same time they reflect the depth of the depravity of the homosexual community. They should, but probably won’t, wake up normal Americans as to how far gays will go to accomplish their ultimate goal of destroying what’s left of our moral values.

They included: the New York Daily News contending, “Brad Pitt’s mom unleashes anti-gay, anti-Obama fury,” a “She Knows Entertainment” report that Mrs. Pitt “hates Obama, ‘gay’ people,” and vile Twitter comments such as, “Brad Pitt’s mom, die” (by Sandy Kownacka), “Brad Pitt’s mom wrote an anti-gay pro-Romney editorial. Kill the b—” (by I Bleed Gaga), “F— you, brad pitt’s mom, the gay community made your kid a star, you whacko,” “Brad Pitt’s mom is a dumb c—,” and many suggesting Mrs. Pitt ”commit vulgar sexual acts with the commenter.”

Read Mrs. Jane Pitt’s “furious, hateful, bitchy” letter in its entirety:

“I have given much thought to Richard Stoecker’s letter (“Vote for Mormon against beliefs,” June 15). I am also a Christian and differ with the Mormon religion.

But I think any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for . . .

Updates: Romney, Racism, and Gays

Updates: Romney, Racism, and Gays

News happens fast and furiously in our high-speed internet age. A few updates on recent stories posted in this space which, by curious happenstance, get little to no coverage from President Barack Hussein Obama’s mainstream media.

MITT ROMNEY. In “Politics, Presidents, and Polygamy,” I cited the marked spike in liberal antipathy toward the presumptive Republican candidate for the presidency, dislike solely predicated on religious bias because Mitt Romney is a Mormon.

That spike is rapidly becoming rabid as seen in the following unedited tweets collected by WeaselZipperscom. (Language caution!)

James Dudley @MrJamesDudley: “#RomneyInTwoWords Fucking Mormon…..do you need any more words than that?”

WarLord @WarLord: “#RomneyInTwoWords Mormon Cultist”

Chocolate Thunder@ChocolateThund9 #RomneyinTwoWords: “Mormon faggot”:

Matthew Deski @minimack722: “#RomneyInTwoWords: Theological Bigot. “Mormon’s Believe that Black skin is a Curse from God. // Let’s keep that quiet right Mitt & Media?” (http://tinyurl.com/87ef2oo)

Nothing better defines Obama’s liberals than their bigotry and profanity.

RACISM. As frequently noted here, one of the best-kept secrets of the non-transparent Obama administration is the explosion of black crime and anti-white racism in the United States over the past few years which, just coincidentally, followed a semi-black taking the presidential oath of office.

That explosion also followed a New Black Panther Party member wielding a billy club and declaring outside a Philadelphia polling place on Election Day 2008, “This is what you get with a black man in charge.”

To a cynic, the increase in racial violence and the NBPP warning are suggestive of an implied carte blanche permission to wreak havoc, a permission since reinforced by Obama’s Justice Department.

Too busy trying to hang George Zimmerman for shooting Trayvon Martin in self-defense, and to defend himself from contempt of Congress charges, and persecuting the state of Arizona, Attorney General Eric Holder purposefully and admittedly ignores black racist crimes committed against whites.

This is by no means an attempt to detail the full extent of such crime but rather to acquaint those oblivious of its existence that a one-sided, bloody race war is in progress throughout the nation.

Two recent examples:

CrimeTrackers.com reports that in Louisiana, three black youths invaded the home of an elderly Mansfield woman and bound, robbed, and gang-raped her before fleeing.  (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=25971.)

Homosexual Censorship

Homosexual Censorship

“I’m good enough. I’m smart enough. And doggone it, people like me.” Al Franken’s effeminate Stuart Smalley character repeatedly recited that line on ”Saturday Night Live” as a daily affirmation, trying to convince himself of his worth as a human being.

“I’m good enough. I’m smart enough. And doggone it, people like me” could serve as the mantra of the gay pride movement which is equally insecure and unsure of their worth yet determined to prove to itself and to the straight world that homosexuals are good, smart, likable people who just happen to vary just a tad from the norm.

Goodness is very much a value judgment and intelligence can easily be determined via IQ tests but whether all gays are liked by all people is doubtful. It’s difficult to like anyone who foists his or her beliefs on others, who demand their lifestyle be approved and accepted by everyone and, especially, when they engage in vicious tactics in order to muzzle those who disagree with them.

For seventeen years, MassResistance (http://massresistance.org/) has tirelessly campaigned on behalf of the American family, traditional values, and the normal concept of marriage.

Those goals pitted them against gays who take advantage of the Massachusetts legal and public education systems to disseminate homosexual propaganda and recruit young people to the sick homosexual lifestyle.

Labeled an anti-gay “Active U.S. Hate Group” by the extreme leftist Southern Poverty Law Center, a badge of honor, Mass Resistance has had an uphill battle in the most liberal state in the union as it tries to keep tabs on what the Bay State’s large homosexual contingent is up to and how their activities affect the vast majority of citizens.

None of what gays are up to is very “likable” to conservatives although Massachusetts’ gay-friendly governor, courts and public schools seem to love whatever they do and say.

Not content with complaining about Mass Resistance, convicted homosexual child molester and registered sex offender Adam Flanders . . .

Gays Versus Normality

Gays Versus Normality

Except for the deep satisfaction that comes from being demonstrably correct, there’s no upside to criticizing certain groups and people in America.

Say something negative concerning African-Americans or the president and you’re immediately branded a racist no matter how true and verifiable the critique. Say anything critical of homosexuals and you’re castigated as a hateful, homophobic Neanderthal despite the accuracy of the criticism.

However, the truth shall set you free so I’ll say and write it anyway: Gays despise normality.

Virtually everything I’ve read and seen about the homosexual community in the gay-friendly MSM depicts homosexuals as an oppressed minority who simply seek acceptance and recognition as normal people with different sexual proclivities who are misunderstood by heterosexuals.

Nothing could be farther from reality, at least for leaders in the lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgendered (LGBT) movement who dictate the gay agenda.

If gays simply sought acceptance and recognition, why would they actively recruit, stage outrageous displays, and try to stifle straights when they voice their disagreement?

For example, why does the LGBT sponsor annual days of silence in schools and gay weeks where kids are encouraged to try the gay lifestyle? Why do they promote annual gay parades and other festivities where homosexuals exhibit themselves in half-naked costumes and engage in outrageously gross behaviors? Why do they push for gay days at amusement parks where they intentionally make themselves a seperate minority?

(See previous posts on all of the above.)

Such activities only accomplish shock and disgust, not acceptance and inclusion in the mainstream of society. They serve to reinforce common perceptions that gays are far from what they assert, namely just a variation on the norm.

Long before President Barack Hussein Obama’s sudden, election year “evolution” on same-sex marriage, gays had been making huge inroads within the entertainment, mass media, and other very public industries. Representing an infinitesimal 2% of our population, for some reason, homosexuals are disproportionately represented in every field from sitcoms to politics to cable news.

As for very plausible reasons? Think political correctness and gay dominance in the entertainment industry.

It may have taken his daughters to convince Obama of the moral and societal rectitude of men marrying men and women marrying women . . .

Tyler Clementi and Trayvon Martin: Justice Gone Awry?

Tyler Clementi and Trayvon Martin: Justice Gone Awry?

There are tragedies soon forgotten and there are tragedies which become iconic moments in American life because pressure groups and the media want them to be. The suicide of Tyler Clementi on September 22nd, 2010 and the shooting death of Trayvon Martin on February 26th, 2012 are two such moments.

Both resulted in miscarriages of justice due not to the incidents themselves but due to gay and black agitators and the media campaigning for unjust punishments of those deemed responsible for Clementi’s and Martin’s untimely deaths.

Eighteen year old Tyler Clementi hurled himself 250 feet off the George Washington Bridge into the Hudson River after discovering his Rutgers University roommate, Dharun Revi, and a hallmate, Molly Wei, had videotaped two of his homosexual encounters in the college room he shared with Revi.

Following endless demonstrations staged by sympathizers in the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgendered (LGBT) Movement, Ravi was indicted, tried, and convicted on 15 counts of invading Clementi’s privacy, bias intimidation, tampering with evidence and witnesses, and interfering with his apprehension and prosecution.

Ravi chose to stand trial. Wei copped a plea, testified against him, and was rewarded with a slap on her wrist.

Now 20, at sentencing on May 21st, Ravi faces ten years in prison on the bias-hate crime charge alone and deportation to the land of his birth, India, upon his release.

Few would dispute that what Dahrun Ravi did, particularly Twittering for his friends to view his webcam recording of Clementi’s graphic second tryst, was reprehensible. However, alleging his spying and advertising the tryst constituted a ”hate crime” meriting extended prison time and deportation is ridiculous.

Dahrun Ravi is clearly guilty only of gross indiscretion–and of acting like a college freshman.

No substantive evidence was ever introduced to demonstrate hatred toward Tyler Clementi because he was gay, which nowadays is a widely-accepted lifestyle especially on collegiate campuses, and Ravi was never even accused of contributing to Clementi’s decision to end his life.

Aside from the absurdity of the whole concept of a hate/thought crime, various gay rights groups contend the prosecution went way “overboard” in going after Ravi. The admittedly “self-absorbed” Ravi refuses to accept responsibility for Clementi’s suicide and believes his roomie “had bigger problems in his life.”

He’s absolutely correct. A talented, young, gay violinist with virtually his entire future ahead of him was undoubtedly struggling with more significant issues than a webcam exhibition in order to motivate him to dive into the Hudson.

Should Ravi be sentenced to prison for what was essentially a stupid, teenage prank, it will be a major victory not for justice but for the power of fringe groups and the media to dictate American justice.

A more recent instance of agitators and the MSM falsely determining what’s right and what’s wrong in America is the tragedy that occurred in Sanford, Florida on February 26th, 2012.

The media and black agitators seized upon and made that tragedy a national farce. Fortunately, the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin case should finally be nearing an end with Zimmerman exonerated.

As detailed here in various articles, the reporting of and reactions to George Zimmerman shooting and killing Trayvon Martin on a darkened, rainy street in Sanford have developed into a racial travesty unrivaled for decades. . .

Today's Updates: Dan Savage and Obamacare

Today's Updates: Dan Savage and Obamacare

The ancient Chinese proverb, “May you live in interesting times,” is a double-edged sword meaning both good wishes and a damning curse. We live in far more interesting times than any Chinese philosopher could possibly have envisioned and keeping up with our curses is daunting.

It’s virtually impossible in our 24/7/365 news world to keep abreast of everything going on. However, to keep readers updated on recent posts here, I’ll give it a a shot today with updates on recent items posted here regarding twisted heterophobe and a revelation on an historic charade. (More fascinating updates will follow.)

DAN SAVAGE. The aptly-named heterophobe who exploited an invite to address high school students on the hot-button issue of bullying when he quickly veered into an attack on the Bible, Christianity, and straight kids, is now saying he was misinterpreted.

Savage still maintains that “we can learn to ignore the bulls**t in the Bible about gay people” but is offended that anyone would misconstrue that and other vile remarks. As he twittered,xx “an attack on Christianity. Which is bullshhh . . . which is untrue” which is in itself bulls**t and a lie.”

Immediately following those “apologies,” Savage launched into a foul-mouthed tiradexx against the Pope and Catholic doctrine–in a chapel, yet!

In his almost inimitable fashion Savage ranted, “What the Pope is saying is that the only thing that stands between my [expletive deleted] and Brad Pitt’s mouth is a piece of paper . . . that once we’re all gay-married we’re going to go extinct in a generation because . . . we’re gonna forget which hole [expletive deleted] babies.” (http://bit.ly/KNndzl)

Dan Savage would be amusing were he not so pathetically vicious even as his fellow homosexuals attempt to imply they are normal. Normality implies some conformity with normal values, no?

Evidently, the Obama administration believes Savage and his associates are normal since they and other Democrats have warmly embraced Savage, so to speak. (http://bit.ly/JBdg53)

OBAMACARE. If killing Osama bin Laden is our president’s most significant foreign affairs achievement, passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, is surely his greatest, though disgraceful, domestic accomplishment.

By now, most Americans–75% of whom opposed its passage–are familiar with the shameful machinations Obama and his Democrat congress utilized to foist socialistic medicine on the United States two years ago. . .

Barack Hussein Obama Will Win Re-Election (Part One)

Barack Hussein Obama Will Win Re-Election (Part One)

As difficult as it is to concede, barring a disaster or intercession by an almighty power, President Barack Hussein Obama will win re-election on November 6th. The final vote tally will be far from a landslide but a sufficient proportion of the electorate will ensure the president serves another disastrous term.

That prediction is based on a variety of factors not the least of which is the widely-held expectation that Obama and all the president’s men and women will wage the dirtiest campaign since the populist Andrew Jackson beat the Democrat-Republican John Quincy Adams in 1828.

Obama will also win on a populist platform predicated on calculated distortions and misrepresentations supplemented by his hole cards of racial and class warfare and he will be bankrolled with a billion dollar campaign treasury.

However, the principal reason he will emerge victorious is not the nefarious tactics he and his minions will employ but that he has locked up various constituencies which will cast Democrat ballots because they almost always have and despite compelling reasons to vote otherwise.

Those constituencies in order of Democrat allegiance:

. African-Americans. Understandably, blacks chose a fellow, if semi, African-American in 2008 because, well, because he was almost black. If I were a black man, I would have supported him simply because of his race and centuries of oppression and disenfranchisement. However, the second time around, I would have supported the candidate who would best serve the interests of the country.

Thirteen percent of the electorate, fully 96% of blacks, voted for Obama four years ago versus 43 percent of whites. While the 96% was anticipated, the 43% reflected the amazing number of “white guilters” who felt it was time for a minority presence in the White House regardless of his lack of qualifications and experience as belated recompense for the enslavement of Obama’s forebears.

In spite of the fact the president has done as little for blacks–aside from hiring them in record numbers and for highly visible positions–as he has for other races, the African-American community is a sure bet to go for Obama in 2012 by margins approximating 2008 particularly but not exclusively due to his politicizing the tragic death of Trayvon Martin.

Chalk up around 13% for Obama.

. Jewish Americans. Jews are by nature and history liberal since they have been discriminated against even longer than blacks. They have endured oppression and slavery for thousands of years, and have been Democrats for as long as there has been an America.

Nevertheless, there is ample cause for Jews to abandon their loyalties to the Democrat Party this year , . . .

When the Bullied Become the Bulliers

When the Bullied Become the Bulliers

Bullying in schools, a problem as old as schools, has become the most grievous sin that could be committed, worse than cheating on tests, fighting, and engaging in illicit acts, all of which commonly occur.

Teachers seducing students still ranks higher on the serious scale but bullying is now considered the most damnable offense a student can commit, so vile that the bullied are now being allowed the right to bully as reparation.

The anti-bullying campaign in America has been fostered by no less than the president of the United States and his wife who warned of the destructive consequences of bullying and co-hosted a White House Conference on Bullying Prevention last year.

There have been no White House conferences on the subject of the dire state of American education so, obviously, bullying is a far more critical concern.

Obviously, too, the administration is more concerned over a particular type of bullying than about bullying in general, about geeks being stuffed into lockers or jocks intimidating nerds. The tip-off as to the gay focus of Barack Hussein Obama’s campaign was his bizarre appointment of a homosexual activist and facilitator of child sexual predation, Kevin Jennings, as his “safe schools czar.”

(See “Kevin Jennings and ‘Safe Schools,’ ” http://bit.ly/pcAMPH, and “School Gays Are Busting Out All Over,” http://bit.ly/A7QZTB.)

Bullying has now come full circle as the subjects of Obama and Jennings’ safety have developed into the bulliers.

Public school administrators, never known for their courage or intellect–most went into administration because they couldn’t teach–have been quick to endorse and enforce NEA and Obamian dictates on bullying since to do otherwise would threaten their sinecures.

As a result, we have witnessed countless instances of schools enforcing so-called zero tolerance when it comes to assumed intolerance toward gay students and boundless tolerance of a politically-correct tyrrany by the assumed oppressed.

The latest absurdity happened at Shawano High School in Wisconsin. . .

The Advantages of Having Friends in High Places

The Advantages of Having Friends in High Places

Call them friends in high places or connections or contacts, knowing people with influence in positions to grease the skids for jobs, perks, or to just plain help you out is an inestimable advantage in America. In turn, when political friends come through, it translates into votes for the politicians.

Forget qualifications, education, merit, or need. Nothing is more beneficial than knowing someone with some pull to get you what you want. And, who has more pull than the current resident of the White House?

Unions have been calling in their chits ever since they blindly–or not so blindly, considering the benefits they reaped– supported the passage of the Obamacare abomination. They have been reaping ever since in the form of wholesale waivers from the onerous burdens of the Democrat-sponsored 2009 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the law VP Biden called “a big f*cking deal.”

Over the last six months alone, 543,812 union members have joined federal employees, Congress, and the president in being exempted from Obamacare, a number dwarfed by the millions of unionistas granted exemptions prior to last June when Obamians allegedly turned off the exemption spigot after it came under public scrutiny.

See “Obama’s Selective Waivers and Exemption’s."

Reliable friends in high places may retreat but, if they’re truly dependable and know where their bread is buttered and with an election approaching, they continue their friendship.

Other deep-dyed Friends of Obama are his huge cadre of federal employees.

Their president saw fit to cut tens of thousands from the ranks of America’s military, forces missioned to defend and protect the nation, yet found it within his generous heart in the midst of the Great Recession to propose a salary increase for federal workers.

Albeit a modest raise of 0.5%, it’s far more than America’s millions of unemployed and underemployed will receive. Before their raise, the average civilian federal worker was raking in $75,296 plus benefits valued at $28,323 versus average $46,326 salaries and vanishing bennies in the private sector.

Now the people who don’t answer their phones in Washington will be getting a few thou extra to not answer their phones.

The 1939 Hatch Act prohibited federal employees from engaging in partisan political activities, a restriction lifted in 1993 after three union leaders were accused of violations. The result? Federal employes are no longer precluded from contributing to political campaigns or from working on behalf of their favorite politicians.

Who was it called them civil servants? They’re more like a civilian army under the command of the man who pays them.

In addition to that army of 2.1 worker bees and his union armies of millions more, a third contingent of those owing a deep debt of gratitude to their executive friend in the Oval Office is the Gay Lobby.

Homosexuals owe Obama Big Time . . .

The Death of the Girl Scouts

The Death of the Girl Scouts

Anyone who has ever been a member of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, a Scout leader, or active supporter of the GSUSA knows the organization has always been one of the finest in the country and the preeminent group advocating for American girls and young women.

Until recently.

Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2012, the GSUSA boasts a membership of over 2.3 million girls aged 10 to 17. They used to recite the Girl Scout Promise: “On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.”

Their Promise is similar to the Boy Scout Oath, except in regard to the reference to God which the GSUSA made optional in 1993. That decision followed one two years earlier to adopt a “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on sexual orientation. The earlier change was ostensibly made because the organization didn’t want “to intrude on personal matters”; God was dropped because a few people complained.

Both alterations of basic principles were made despite the fact virtually everything in the Girl Scout Law is “personal” and they were made in the interests of demonstrating the GSUSA adheres to the popular fascinations with diversity and inclusiveness.

Those fascinations represented the beginnings of Girl Scout political correctness and may have sounded the death knells of a once proud and honorable institution. The delayed ramifications of the GSUSA going PC were reflected in last month’s dissolution of troops and the recent exposé of Girl Scout attempts at political indoctrination.

As reported by the ChristianPost.com, and by few if any other media, “Three Girl Scout troops at a Christian school in Louisiana have disbanded in protest of a policy of inclusion for transgenders,” more precisely, accepting a biological boy into the Girl Scouts.

Regardless of one’s opinion of Sarah and Bill Tyler, parents of 8 year old Dana/Danann Tyler who indulged their son’s sexual identity confusion by allowing him to dress as a little girl, sent him to school lugging a princess lunch box, and bought him high-heeled slippers, we should all be able to empathize with the Louisiana parents.

Dana/Danann Tyler doesn’t seem to be the subject of the controversy in Lousiana–at last report, the Tylers lived in Southern California–and Christian Post doesn’t give the Louisiana boy’s name. Still, the situations are similar. Dana/Danann’s nationally-televised story was examined here in “Smile! It’s Transgender Awareness Week!”

The push for transgendered boys joining the Girl Scouts isn’t confined to either California or Louisiania. A Colorado mother also tested the GSUSA inclusion policy, was rejected by her local troop, called a press conference, then was heard from no more.

The Louisiana moms/scout leaders didn’t exactly give up, however.

They resigned their posts, disbanded their troops, and are considering re-alignment with an alternative group, American Heritage Girls, which is “dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country,” commitments now suspect in the GSUSA.

Fifteen year old Sydney Volanski is also commited. She’s committed to outing the GSUSA as a front for the Democrat Party and the progressive movement to undermine Girl Scouts’ integrity and non-partisan, apolitical tradition.

The amazingly-articulate teenager made an appearance on FNC’s “Fox and Friends” Thursday morning and revealed the heretofore unknown and un-publicized GSUSA campaign to seduce scouts into believing all the liberal media claptrap. . .

Only Some Deaths Diminish the MSM

Only Some Deaths Diminish the MSM

“Any man’s death diminishes me,” wrote the poet John Donne, generically and appropriately mourning the death of any person, man, woman, or child. Today, in the mainstream media, expressions of diminishment and recognition are far more selective and politically correct than Donne could have envisioned.

For example, this week HuffingtonPost.com and various other liberal media observed the thirteenth anniversary of the senseless murder of 21 year old Wyoming college Matthew Shepard and a like number of media noted the quiet passing of 86 year old Frank Kameny. Last month, virtually none of the MSM made mention of the twelfth anniversary of the death of 13 year old Arkansan, Jesse Dirkhising, about the same media coverage accorded his torture and murder when it happened.

Dare I mention that Shepard and Kameny were committed homosexuals and that Jesse was an innocent, straight victim of homicidal, gay sadists? I will mention it since those facts remain the only distinctions to account for the media ignoring Jesse and lauding Shepard and Kameny.

Matthew Shepard accomplished significantly more by his death at the hands of two drunken sots outside Laramie, Wyoming than he did during his brief life. He became the poster boy for the LGBT community and eventually the cause célèbre in their successful campaign for national hate crime legislation.

Though those laws ostensibly targeted any hate-thought crimes, they were primarily focused on allegations of discrimination against homosexuals, an ironic detail since hatred of gays was never proven as the motive in the trials of Shepard’s murderers.

Frank Kameny was a gay of a whole different color than Matthew Shepard. . .

The Gay Seduction of 10 Year Olds

The Gay Seduction of 10 Year Olds

Some things are better left unsaid and unelucidated. Among them are details on which Hollywood starlet is sleeping with which director, why Ashton Kutcher married Demi Moore–and sensationalized tripe on the sex lives of 10 year old girls.

The Gay Lobby, however, wants everything elucidated and out there when it comes to what segment of the population it is in process of seducing lately in hopes that more kids will do it, try it, because, as per the newest homosexual catchphrase, “It gets better.”

(See http://bit.ly/oOGDIl for further information on the import of how life allegedly “gets better” for youngsters who are hit on by gay adult predators– as told from the vantage point of degenerate homosexual activist, Dan Savage.)

Now 10 year old tomboyish girls come to the realization, at least in the unhinged perceptions of some film writers and producers, that “it gets better.” And thus we have the multi-award-winning “Tomboys,” a French film by Parisian Celine Sciamma.
Dispense with the antiquated idea that tomboys are only young girls who reject dolls and frilly dresses in favor of footballs and dirt encrusted Levis which, nowadays, isn’t all that unusual anyway. Based on the trailers, Sciamma’s movie incorporates scenes of similar, innocuous gender-blending but merely as background for more salacious content.

Sciamma also features in her seamy yet critically-acclaimed cinematic excursion into predatory child exploitation is the story of a confused, re-located child who finds comfort and sexual release in lesbianism and a self-constructed Play-Doh dildo.

A convicted serial deviate couldn’t make this stuff up! . . .

A Remembrance: Jesse Dirkhising Would Be 25

A Remembrance: Jesse Dirkhising Would Be 25

Jesse William Dirkhising of Prairie Grove, Arkansas was a child of just 13 years when he met his untimely death on September 26th, 1999at the hands of Davis Don Carpenter and Joshua Brown. The tragedy of Jesse’s unspeakably violent murder goes far beyond his passing and the ignominious nature of how he suffered in the process.

The tragedy encompasses society’s disregard for his death when it happened and its failure to remember him and his life after.

The brutality of Jesse’s sadistic torture and murder by the perverted homosexuals Carpenter and Brown wasn’t salved by their convictions and sentences of life imprisonment. The passage of 12 years hasn’t provided any degree of closure, as if that currently-popular term ever has any meaning.

If anything, the continued, studied indifference of the mainstream media toward his death only exacerbates the wounds.

I try to pay annual deference to the memory of Jesse Dirkhising not because it will arouse the MSM to accord his murder retrospective acknowledgement but because he deserves some recognition in a world which would have made him a cause célèbre had his homicide been an act which society abhorred as much as that committed against other innocent victims.

Such a cause was Matthew Shepard.

Shepard’s vicious killing the previous year by two drunken sots in Wyoming evoked media attention the likes of which has rarely been witnessed and resulted in passage of “hate crime” legislation in Washington which now bears Shepard’s name. Jesse’s far more horrific murder gained barely a mention. . .

America's Politically-Correct Gay Military

America's Politically-Correct Gay Military

. . . All that aside, and it shouldn’t be put too far aside in view of the unremitting campaign by gays, lesbians, bi-sexuals, and trans-sexuals to convince America of their normality, it’s a whole new day for the armed forces of the United States of America! Gays are usually focused on children but this new day celebrates adults.

After extensive studies and a manipulated survey of the troops, despite vehement objections and compelling evidence contradicting the survey’s validity, as of September 20th, 2011 homosexuals will be permitted to openly serve in the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.

As Army Lieutenant Colonel Robert Maginnes (Ret.) pointed out, the “consequences could be significant, but the American public has no clue because because the 111th Democrat-controlled Congress repealed the ban [on gays in our military] in a “lame-duck” session without hearing a single dissenting view.”

That ban, that law, 10 U.S.C. § 654, aka the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy, in place for 18 years ever since Bill Clinton followed the advice of Dick Morris and pushed for its passage in 1993 in order to appear a moderate on the issue, had grated on the homosexual community for almost two decades.

With Republicans slated to take control of the House of Representatives in 2011, gays knew it was time to call in all their Democrat chits and Democrat supporters so they could “integrate” the armed forces with homosexuals.

Maginnes, who now serves as a media national security adviser/analyst, detailed the not-unforeseen, not-unintended but ignored realities, consequences, and potential repercussions of repealing DADT in ”Congress Ignored Perils of Lifting Military’s Gay Ban.”

Primary ignored realities are the majority opposition from the troops, high rates of STDs among homosexuals, and the inherent pitfalls of gays showering and bunking with same-gender personnel, the equivalent of men and women sharing baths and bedrooms.

The consequences of that ignorance should have been apparent even to politicians, even to Democrat politicians. But there are more . . .

Unintended Consequences in the Military and at NASA

Unintended Consequences in the Military and at NASA

When any governmental entity is involved, the line between intended and unintended consequences can be extremely fine, indeed.

Take, for example, the consequences of the repeal of the military’s DADT, the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy which required homosexuals in the Armed Services not to advertise their sexual inclinations in return for the military’s not inquiring, inquiries which could have resulted in their expulsion.

After extensive study of the deleterious effects outed gays would have on our troops and despite widespread opposition from Marines and combat forces in general, military powers-that-be in the Pentagon–predominantly ambitious officers who wouldn’t want to be perceived as opposing political directives–are set to officially lift the gay ban next month.

If gay agitators get their way, acceptance of homosexuals, turning blind eyes to their proclivities, not “telling” on them will not only become politically passe’ but de rigueur in the services via active recruitment.

The intended consequences being strategized by the LGBT set probaby isn’t exactly what the military intended.

According to the Washington Times, ”An underground gay group in the military wants recruiters to reach out to the gay community in the same way they target blacks, Hispanics and women.” The group, Outserve, representing some 4,000 homosexuals currently serving, is planning what the Times calls a “coming out party” in October in Vegas and wants the military to be on hand.

As one still-closeted Air Force officer put it, “The DoD regularly attends public events to recruit, and we believe they should be at Pride events next year around the country to let the gay community know the opportunities to serve their nation.” As one conservative commentator sees the agitation, it’s all part and parcel of what gay activists do: Push the envelope to the breaking point.

Robert Knight keenly observed, “No one should be surprised at what will be an increasingly shrill set of demands to use the military as an endorsing agency for homosexual activism.” . . .

Al Franken Finds His Sick Niche

Al Franken Finds His Sick Niche

You can dress a clown up as a senator but he would still be a clown, and not necessarily a very funny clown. Alan Stuart Franken, aka the dopey, simpering, effeminate Stuart Smalley, was canned because he wasn’t funny on “Saturday Night Live,” failed with talk radio’s leftist Air America, and had little else to do but stage a run for the United States Senate.

Inexplicably, Minnesotans elected him–by 312 votes and with more than a little help from ineligible Twin Cities convicted felons, creative re-counting of ballots, and empathetic Minnesota courts. Coincidentally, Minnesota’s state bird is the common loon.

And so Mr. Franken went to Washington in 2009 toting all his baggage and a tainted plurality.

He was thrilled according to CNN and is finally on a comic roll in D.C., such as it is.

Freshmen senators don’t usually accomplish much early on in their senatorial tenures but Franken recently hit his stride by taking positions on two controversial issues now being debated in congress: the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act, DOMA, and the debt ceiling.

He was wrong on both.

Defying the odds and never letting facts cloud his judgment, Franken ripped into the Bill Clinton initiative, DOMA, passed by an overwhelming 84% of congress fifteen years ago and subsequently reinforced by 31 of 31 states which concurred that a marriage consists of one man, one woman, no variations allowed.

A number of prominant Democrats including Sens. Harry Reid and Pat Leahy supported DOMA in 1996 but, with the rise of gay social and political power, have switched sides and abandoned whatever principles they once had.

Sen. Franken is equally-unprincipled even if he is hardly prominent but he blows in the political winds with the best of them.

In pushing for support of the Respect for [Homosexual] Marriage Act to replace DOMA, Franken attacked an anti-gay marriage advocate, Tom Minnery, for citing a 2007 HHS study. That study unequivocably showed that children fare better in a “nuclear family” consisting of biological or adoptive parents.

Franken contended that same-sex parents do just as well rearing their kids, ignoring the reality that there were approximately 59 million normal married households in America versus 0.0002% of gay families among the “nuclear households” at the time of the HHS conclusions.

In addition and despite gay claims . . .

DADT Is Dead, DOMA Is Next

DADT Is Dead, DOMA Is Next

The eminently-transparent President Barack Hussein Obama has never attempted to conceal his eminently-obvious predilection toward the homosexual community, one of his staunchest constituencies–except during election cycles.

In 2008, he devoutly–ok, not devoutly but straightforwardly–professed his belief in the sanctity–ok, not the sanctity but the tradition–of marriage as an institution involving the union of one man and one woman, pretty much what most voters and most rational people on the planet believed.

Admittedly and to his credit, candidate Obama did publicly pledge to his gay friends that he would push for repeal of a related tradition, the Bill Clinton policy of the military not asking homosexuals if they were homosexual and homosexuals not saying they were homosexuals, better known as Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell or DADT.

President Obama and his lame duck Democrat congress succeeded in pushing through a repeal of DADT amid congressional chaos last December and gays were happy and gay, but not satisfied. That other gay-repugnant Clinton law, the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act, aka DOMA, remained on the books and homosexuals demanded it be removed.

Now, relatively few gays are militaristic and I’m guessing even fewer personally give much of damn whether homosexuals in the Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard can’t be asked and can’t say what their sexual proclivities are but they insisted DADT be repealed on principle, the principle being they wanted their way.

They got it, even if the military–as fully anticipated–still has no clue on how to implement gay integration into the armed forces. Military and has petitioned for and has been accorded more time to effect implementation of the new policy.

Next on the gay agenda is dumping DOMA, . . .

Beyond July 4th, 2011, Toward November 6th, 2011

Beyond July 4th, 2011, Toward November 6th, 2012

When all the Independence Day parades are over, after the hoopla and ballyhoo, the celebrations, the fireworks, the overeating and overimbibing are done with for another year, Americans have to face the reality that the United States is still in dire straits.

To paraphrase Ronald Reagan’s famous question, Are we better off today than we were 30 months ago? Only the insane and the masochistic would answer Yes.

After 2 1/2 years of Obama, the economy is still mired in the doldrums, his stimulus has cost $278,000 per job created, official unemployment is stuck above 9%, our health care system is in being socialized, post-racialism is teetering on the edge of race warfare, illegal aliens continue to pour over our border, the nation is in decline as an international power, wars and rumors of wars abound, the Islamic threat is unabated, gasoline and heating oil prices have skyrocketed, the president has declared class warfare, and we’re on the verge of economic default.

Meanwhile, our leader parties and plays golf.

Obama critics such as Sean Hannity naïvely say it’s incomprehensible that a president of the United States could have planned or desired the current mess we’re in. I beg to differ.

September 11th, 2001 was also incomprehensible. . .
