Handwritings on White House Walls?

Handwritings on White House Walls?

It may have foeshadowed 2012 when Obama-idolator Peter Fonda called President Barack Hussein Obama a “f*cking traitor.” It was probably said affectionately by the environmentalist/actor to get some attention from other beautiful people at the Cannes film festival for his enviro-creds but it was still exceptional.

Poor Peter, who hasn’t had a hit movie since “Easy Rider” 42 years ago, had to say something notable to grab some attention from his big sister, Hanoi Jane Fonda, and he only considers the president a “f*cking traitor” because Obama didn’t handle the Gulf oil spill very well. (http://yhoo.it/kW7NAd)

The fact that Obama hasn’t handled very much very well didn’t bother Peter but the fact that such a nasty, verbal attack by a leftist, Hollywood elitist–which is an admitted redundancy–would have been unheard of just a year ago bodes ill for the president.

Is the handwriting on the wall?

More damaging scribbling came from Obama’s mainstream media which, as per his bidding, has been remarkably quiescent for more than 3 years now when it came to vetting his background, interviewing him with other than softball questions, or citing and publicizing his frequent gaffes and misstatements.

The MSM long ago abandoned its moral and ethical responsibilities in that regard and the White House press corps–or, “corpse,” according to the president–has been most lax, according to senior members of that corps/corpse.

Those veterans, including Sander Vanocur, Sid Davis, and Haynes Johnson, believe White House correspondents are “too timid and deferential.” What’s most amazing, in addition to their being critical, is that it took them 26 months to notice.

As Vanocur observed, ”You want to know what’s wrong with the press? The press is what’s wrong with the press.” Washington Post reporter Haynes Johnson chimed in with, ”It’s all very stale, very structured, very pale.” And Sid Davis, who has covered nine presidents, went further than criticizing by resorting to sarcasm in characterizing the press and their demeanor in the president’s presence by saying, ”It looks like they are watching a funeral service at [Washington funeral firm] Joseph Gawler’s and it shouldn’t be that way.” (http://bit.ly/kEFPrA)

No kidding, Messrs. Vanocur, Johnson, and Davis! Where have you been?

More telling than their comments, and more concerning for Obama, is not what those three said, which in itself was remarkable, but that they had the audacity to say it. Lapdogs aren’t supposed to growl and bite and neither they nor their fellow correspondents would have deigned or dared to say it in the past.

More handwriting?

What will undoubtedly be viewed as less a harbinger for Obama’s future as calculated and inconsequential backbiting by evil conservatives is opposition by conservative groups to Obama’s nomination of Berkeley Law Professor Goodwin Liu to serve on the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals despite his “well-qualified” rating from the American Bar Association.

Berkeley is well, Berkeley, and the Ninth Court is as notoriously liberal, and the ABA tends to consider any judicial candidate well-qualified as long as he or she swings politically leftward.

The Loyal Opposition was unable to block tax cheat Tmothy Geithner from taking over as Secretary of the Treasury or such administration luminaries as homosexual activist Harry Knox as a faith counsellor, radical Cass Sunstein as Regulatory Czar, America-hater John Holdren as Obama’s chief science maven, admitted child-abuser Kevin Jennings as his man to insure safe schools, and a scary host of other leftists from taking posts in the administration but considers Liu’s nomination to be even more “ridiculous.”

Obama floated a trial balloon for Jamie Gorelick as FBI Director, the same Jamie Gorelick, aka “The Mistress of Disaster.” who made certain the FBI, the CIA, and other intelligence agencies couldn’t share information before 9/11. However, if nothing else, Gorelick had some related experience. Liu, much like the president before his election, has virtually none nor does he have trial experience on which to evaluate him as qualified to pass down judgments, a requisite heretofore for ABA endorsement. Republicans and conservatives drawing a line with Liu may not be equivalent to Peter Fonda’s “f*cking traitor” remark or to veteran White House correspondents outing the White House . . .

Cass Sunstein, Machination Czar

Cass Sunstein, Machination Czar

Keeping up with leftist hypocrisy and machinations is a challenge. It’s also challenging to sanity. As with the little engine that could, I think I can keep up with the former but the latter becomes more difficult by the day.

The latest in a long list of hypocrisies involves Cass R. Sunstein, a “legal scholar” on the short list for next next Obama nominee for the Supreme Court, is one of the multitude of Obama czars. Now ensconced as grand poobah in charge of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, by virtue of the powers vested in that office and his core values as a human being, Sunstein is poised to wreak more damage to the nation’s values than almost any other Obamaczar.

Sunstein’s OIRA, a division of the OMB, “carries out several important functions, including reviewing Federal regulations, reducing paperwork burdens, and overseeing policies relating to privacy, information quality, and statistical programs,” according to its website.

Salon.com published an article, “Nudge on Trial,” bemoaning the “inquisition” of the “iconoclast,” Sunstein. Last I heard, “iconoclast” describes a person who attacks cherished but erroneous beliefs. Sunstein is indeed an attacker but the subjects of his attacks are anything but erroneous, that is, unless one believes the right to privacy is readily violable by government or that government is entitled to subvert dissension by infiltrating and destroying dissenters.

Salon depicts Sunstein as something of a martyr forced to submit to overbearing Republicans by making his “umpteenth appearance before a congressional committee.” I’m not quite sure how many “umpteenth” amounts to but the article amounted to a hatchet job on Republicans whose new House majority wants to rid the nation of the administration’s job-crippling industry regulations.

Sunstein made that umpteenth appearance before the House Energy and Commerce Committee and proceeded to engage in evasions and semantical word games rather than attempting to clarify the administration’s efforts to create jobs by eliminating regulatory roadblocks.

In a bow to House Republican majority, at the same time a masterful stroke in the fine art of deceit, Obama pledged to explore ways to limit government regulations on business, a group as foreign to the community organizer as the concept of a real job. At the same time he said that new regulations will be necessary in order to eliminate old regulations since we all know the best route to deregulation is more regulation, right?

And, who will be in charge of all that regulatory re-shuffling? None other than the man for whom the job of chief government regulator is a virtual Nirvana, Cass Sunstein.

With his ethically-suspect background, it’s no wonder the Republicans don’t trust him.

Sunstein is the same guy . . .

Big Brother's Paranoia

Big Brother’s Paranoia

If the Obamians were trying to act as if they wanted to create a new Oceania, George Orwell’s Big Brother society, in America, they couldn’t do any better than they are now.

More and more, we’ve seen government sticking its obscene, uninvited nose into every area of our private and public lives, into corporate boardrooms, into every individual and business enterprise. That intrusion is not in the interests of providing assistance or some other boon but rather to manipulate, regulate, and dictate.

Do I sound paranoid? Maybe, but keep in mind that even paranoiacs have enemies and the primary enemy of every American citizen and corporation is our current overbearing, intimidating government.

Anyone who happens to be of a conservative frame of mind can multiply the governmental threat tenfold. One Obamabuddy is now on record as admitting that liberals in power are virtually duty bound to go after conservatives.

Cass Sunstein, Harvard professor, constitutional law scholar, czar of the administration’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, and rumored future SCOTUS nominee, has ripped open the curtain to reveal what the Obamawizards have up their flowing sleeves. Like the Oz wizard, it’s a pack of lies and deceptions designed for mind control. . . .

The Czar Watch

Czar Watch: Van Jones, John Holdren, Cass Sunstein
With President Obama surrounding himself with at least 32 czars, (at last count), those public servants immune from public and congressional scrutiny, he has set a new record.

In actuality, these czars who revel in an absolutist authority and power are not public servants as much as they are dedicated Obama servants answerable only to their master.

As Obama might say, Allah only knows how much they are costing the taxpayers of our cash-strapped nation!

The most recent czar in the news, a sputtered, dethroned czar, Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Van Jones, recently resigned in the middle of the night.

The timing of that “green czar’s” departure was fitting considering that this neo-conservationist’s brief tenure in that lofty position was as clandestine as was his background in such roles as racial agitator, admitted Communist, and 9/11 conspiratorialist.

Jones was toppled not because of those items on his resume’ but only because he shot his mouth off when stuck for something to say when he had no clue what to say.

He reverted to form and called all Republicans a**holes which got some of those a**holes to delve into his record: http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=1205.

So, Jonesy is gone, but not really. He’s still on the government payroll, advising the president, just absent his title.

Remember, when you get rid of a roach you can be certain that many more roaches are hidden away and will re-emerge when darkness falls. Some squished roaches, (think Van Jones), are even capable of phoenix-like revivification.

Yet-to-be-squished-czar-vermin include John P. Holdren and Cass Sunstein.

Holdren, Director of Obama’s White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, also holds the unofficial title of the Josef Mengele of Obama’s staff. . . .
