Galloping Marxism in Our Schools
Karl Heinrich Marx was a brilliant man. The sage co-founder of one of the two principal social scouges of the twentieth century knew the surest path to godless tyranny was centralized control of schools, colleges, and universities.
Marx recognized Communism-Marxism’s critical need to propagandize the young in order to rid them of anti-proletariat ideas inculcated by parents and churches and for public schools to adopt curricula that denies God, morality, traditional family values, the concept of private ownership of property, and to stoke class warfare.
If any of that sounds familiar, it should. America is experiencing Marxism-in-action today as seen not only in tax policies but in the widespread, leftist radicalism on college campuses and public schools becoming hotbeds of social brainwashing to complement the deteriorization of standards and learning.
We are seeing the patently unconstitutional intrusion of the federal government into local education with dictates, mandates, and oversights by the U.S. Department of Education as it rapidly centralizes control of American education.
We are witnessing the leftist National Education Association busily engaged in discouraging parental choice and home-schooling and fully endorsing those federal intrusions while pushing for inclusion and diversity instead of more effective education.
We are burdened with local districts too feckless to denounce governmental encroachments and administrators too imbued with liberal doctrine to resist the leftward lurch toward the Marxist ideals embraced by our president.
To be sure, there were unmistakable signs of controlled centralization- indoctrination long before the election of Barack Hussein Obama.
Since 2009, however, those signs have developed into a full-blown tsunami of Marxist doctrinaires and godless subversives acting under the guise of educators, all of whom were committed adherents to Obama’s twisted Marxist philosophy, many of whom signed on to his carefully-designed cult of personality.
At first, it was comical when schools like one in Hempstead, New York re-named themselves after Obama even before he was elected. Another in Asbury Park, New Jersey did likewise, before it was closed last July.
Throughout the nation, countless schools, localities, school districts, and streets changed names in honor of someone whose primary claim to fame was his (partial) blackness, whose father was a Marxist, and who has governed as if he dreams the collectivist dreams of his father.
Indoctrination of children comes in many colors. One favorite ploy is the use of songs.
A classic was the ditty composed by a black New Jersey teacher in 2009 who forced her class to sing a paean to their new god. Its unmemorable lyrics included, Mmm, mmm, mm!/Barack Hussein Obama/He said that all must lend a hand/To make this country strong again. . .” It gets worse with, ”Mmm, mmm, mm!/ Barack Hussein Obama/Yes!”
The parody is a vast improvement: “Mmm, mmm, mm!/Barack Hussein Obama/He said we must pay the man/To make this country strong again/Taking your money doesn’t matter/’cause we know He can spend it better. . .”
That song is old hat now. Obamamarxists have expanded their musical vistas to incorporate anarchic elements in their efforts to undermine values and seduce children into believing chaos and revolution were superior to order and civilized behavior. . .

The Trials of PSU
It’s been said that “Scandal is what one half of the world takes pleasure inventing, and the other half in believing.” That observation applies in spades to the ongoing scandal at Penn State University except for the fact those pleasuring in the PSU scandal have been woefully misdirected.
For inexplicable reasons, many people hate Penn State, perhaps for its immense size, its influence, or its football team.
Someone actually published a currently out of print screed on the subject titled, I Hate Penn State: 303 Reasons Why You Should, Too, a screed which may experience a revival in the wake of the events of the past six days in University Park, PA, regrettable events rapidly turning Happy Valley into an unhappy lowland.
It’s very evident neither the PSU child sex scandal nor its repercussions were invented and, at this point, the crimes against children and nature committed by former Nittany Lion defensive coach Jerry Sandusky must be termed ”alleged” until he is, hopefully, tried, convicted, and sentenced to live out his remaining days in some godforsaken Pennsylvania state prison.

As more and more of Sandusky’s victims emerge–the count may reach twenty–media and public venom are developing into a tsunami. However, in a peculiar twist, the venom isn’t being directed against the alleged perpetrator of the vile crimes but against legendary football coach Joe Paterno and Penn State University itself.
With Sandusky long retired, the PSU Board of Trustees peremptorily fired Paterno, by phone, on Wednesday. University president Dr. Graham Spanier was also cashiered. Paterno was dismissed for not doing enough to expose Sandusky’s predations, Spanier for covering them up. Combined with Athletic Director Tim Curley’s leave of absence and Senior PSU VP Gary Schultz’s resignation, that should have put the scandal to rest pending Sandusky’s trial.
Four heads on a platter proved to be nowhere near sufficient to sate the bloodlust of Penn State-haters in the media, however, anymore than the arrest of Jerry Sandusky satisfied them. Sandusky became almost incidental, his guilt as an accused serial homosexual child molestor almost irrelevant to the MSM even as new revelations surfaced.
Classified so far as rumors circulated by long-time PSU critic, Pittsburgh sports writer Mike Madden, Sandusky and his Second Mile Foundation were reputedly “pimping out young boys to rich donors” and Sandusky retired at the unusually young age of 55 ”in exchange for a cover-up” of his illicit activities.
Also seemingly irrelevant are the inactions of then-graduate assistant Mike McQueary.
His action, that is, informing Coach Paterno that he had personally witnessed Sandusky performing a sex act on a 10 year old boy in a shower room, has been duly noted and praised. Paterno reported the incident to Curley the next day yet he was fired.
McQueary’s grievous inactions of failing to intercede, of allowing the assault to continue, of not immediately calling the police–after flattening Sandusky and freeing the boy–speak volumes about McQueary and the Penn State administration.
Now an assistant coach, McQueary was scheduled to be on the sidelines in Saturday’s game with Nebraska alongside interim coach Tom Bradley before he received death threats from overworked fans crazed by Paterno’s dismissal. Aside from his failure to intervene in the first place, questions remain as to why he was not criticized for doing what Paterno did, going by the protocol book, and why he, too, wasn’t fired by PSU higher-ups.

Out of School Tales of Nuns and Other Educators
The nuns always warned us about telling tales out of school, tattling, gossiping but since I’ve long been out of school I feel I can do it although the following aren’t really tattle tales or gossip. They’re scary but true tales.
Arne Duncan, who never taught a class or wrote a lesson plan in his life but did attend the elite University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and majored in sociology at Harvard, later presided over the disintegration of the Chicago public school system for almost 10years.
Apparently because of that sociology degree and his outstanding Chicago failure, Duncan was tapped by President Obama in 2009 to be the nation’s Secretary of Education, the rough equivalent of hiring Yogi Berra to teach logic to baseball players.
Secretary Duncan experienced a rare attack of honesty for a politician when he recently conceded, “And the best ideas, I’ve always said, in education are never going to come from me or frankly from anyone else in Washington,” despite the fact his cabinet-level department is primarily charged with establishing United States educational policy.
Needless to say, Duncan qualified his admission of his own and Washington’s ineptitude by saying that the best ideas are “always going to come from great teachers, great principals at the local level” where people better understand their communities’ needs.
Duncan was inadvertently raising the question of why a federal education department, created as the brainchild of Jimmy Carter, is needed at all and why its budget has almost tripled in a decade even as the nation’s educational system is rapidly approaching levels considered unacceptable in the Third World.
He didn’t answer those unasked questions and didn’t have to. Teachers and their overbearing national union, the National Education Association and its affiliates, provide the answers every election cycle when they show up en masse to support Democrat candidates as payback for government, i.e. taxpayer, largesse.
As a nitwitty teacher proudly said one Election Day in our faculty room years ago in response to a query as to how she planned to cast her vote, “I don’t know. I just vote for whoever the union tells me to.”
Teachers and other Wisconsin public employees know full well whom not to vote for, newly-elected Republican governor of the Badger State, Scott Walker.
The dastardly, union-busting, benefit-reducing Walker, the same governor who has put his state on a path to fiscal sanity and has actually added 43,400 jobs to Wisconsin’s payrolls according to the CES, the Current Employment Statistics survey, discovered once again the depths which unionistas can plumb when he visited the Messmer Catholic School in Milwaukee.
Governor Walker and his state had already witnessed those depths last winter when union thugs caused millions of dollars in damages to the state Capitol building in Madison, ostensibly in protest of his fiscal proposals but also in protest of his fair and democratic election. . .

School Daze Revisited
School Daze Revisited
Ever since the educational halcyon days of readin’, writin’, and ‘rithmatic, people have been trying to improve on American education. Those efforts, those “improvements,” most often involved sociological experiments rather than pedagogical advancements and the results are what we have today.
Thanks to the National Education Association, the NEA, we now have millions of kids with great self esteem and a keen awareness of the necessity of diversity and the evils of America but with ever-decreasing capacities for reading, writing, and counting.
“Misedumacation” is gaining supremacy in America’s classrooms.
Fear not, however. To the rescue comes government.
Movements are afoot to initiate all new educational standards . . .

More School Daze
More School Daze
Bye, honey. You sure you have your lunch money?
Bye, mom, yup, I do.
Ok and be sure to bundle up if it gets colder later, ok?
I will, mom. Sheesh, I’m not a kid, mom!
I know, pumpkin, I know, I know, and don’t forget to call if you’re gonna be late.
Don’t I always?
Yes, you do, mostly, and one last thing, if they send you for an abortion, call me at work, ok?
Oh, God! Yes, MOM! Bye!
Slam!
Most of that parting conversation would be pretty typical of households with teen girls today–except for the mom’s last request.
Maybe it should be part of the morning routine.
It’s doubtful a mother, or a father, asked their teen to give a call if she went for an abortion that day but a mom in Seattle may now wish she had.
“Jill’s” 15 year old daughter went off to school one recent morning without that request, went to her high school’s onsite clinic, took a pregnancy test, found out she was carrying a baby, was dispatched via a cab to a nearby abortion facility, and aborted her baby, all during school hours when kids are expected to be learning something other than how to murder the pre-born.
Understandably, “Jill” was furious that all this had happened while she believed her daughter was attending Ballard High School in Seattle, maybe doing a little readin’, writin’, and ‘rithmetic, probably gossiping with her girl friends about boys, eating some lunch, and maybe going to band practice.
Instead, the public employees at the Ballard school clinic sent her daughter, an avid pro-life supporter, to be aborted without even the common courtesy of a call to Jill: http://bit.ly/c24sZp
This is the world we live in today, folks, and we all deserve what we get if we, even tacitly, supported the culture of abortion death by voting for the most pro-abortion president in America’s history.

1) Kevin Jennings, Obama’s “safe schools czar,” is still on the job. Despite all the controversy surrounding Jennings’ past and current actions and philosophy of homosexual activism and plans to use America’s schools to promote homosexuality, he remains in his position of promoting a bizarre idea of safety in those schools.

A Teachable Moment or an Alinsky Seduction?
On the surface, there’s nothing really inappropriate for the president of the United States to address America’s children on their first day of school, Tuesday, September 8th. After all, he is the president, a role demanding leadership of all citizens, including kids.
Education Secretary Arne Duncan in his letter to the principals of every school in the country writes that the speech represents an ”historic moment” and that its primary purpose “is to challenge students to set goals, work hard and stay in school. This isn’t a policy speech:” http://bit.ly/YPFH2
All well and good, so far, but here the problems start.
First Problem: The text of the 15-20 minute address won’t be released until Monday, September 7th, which just happens to be Labor Day, a national holiday.
That release date smacks of the tactics near and dear to the hearts of this “transparent” administration, . . .
