Gaffes and Gripes: Obama's "Jobs Speech" Part Two
BULLETIN: Bloomberg.com reported on Wednesday that Americans have not only given a rousing thumbs-down to Obama’s “Job Act” but thumbed their noses at the president because of it.
As if President Barack Hussein Obama were foretelling the future at the same time he was serving up an object lesson on how he believes Americans should solemnify the memory of September 11th, 2001 by a “day of service,” he slapped up vittles in a soup kitchen on 9/11.
Most Americans disregarded, if they didn’t ridicule, his asinine idea of substituting public service in lieu of solemnity on 9/11 but they will be hard pressed to dismiss the image of soup kitchens in our future, especially in view of reports of spreading poverty and in light of the president’s lackluster performance in so-called “jobs speech” last Thursday.
Obama’s screwing up history, as in saying Lincoln “founded” the Republican Party and his gaffe-ing his way through his presidency have been more than adequately covered up by his mainstream media. (http://bit.ly/qKFXDP)
It will be far more challenging for Obama’s MSM to provide cover for an entire speech which was essentially an hour-long whine indirectly bitching at Republicans for their intransigence in favor of preserving the Republic and avoiding national bankruptcy instead of burdening the taxpayers, their children, and grandkids with another boondoggle.
With his trillion dollar 2009 unstimulating stimulus an abject failure in putting Americans back to work, Obama’s economic wizards devised another sure-fire scheme, the piddling Son of Stimulus, a $447 billion plan incorporating many of the unpalatable elements of the original failure, features previously rejected even by Obama’s own Democrats.
This time around, the Anointed One left his ointments home and didn’t emulate Bartles and James by politely thanking Congress in advance for its support. Instead, almost churlishly, he repeatedly demanded the Congress pass the new waste now, at once, two weeks ago, if possible.
In various forms, he reiterated his demand at least 17 times, apparently fearing that if congresspeople read it before passing it, they may not like it and forgetting that he isn’t an emperor and that the legislative branch is co-equal with the executive.
All but stamping his foot, whining of the consequences of non-passage and touting the improbable benefits, Obama resembled more an petulent child than a president. My four year old grandson would be sent to time-out or, preferably, to his bed, for such infantile conduct.
To his credit, the president didn’t repeat his “shovel-ready” lie; many of his brand new shovels won’t be shovelling until 2013, coincidentally after Election Day 2012.
Early on in his unprecedented second address to a joint session of Congress and the American people within less than 32 months–this president obviously craves attention as much as my grandson–Obama declared his “Jobs Act” would be fully “paid for,” as opposed to Obamacare, for instance. . .

9/11 Allies and Abusers
Now that the dusty rhetoric has cleared from Ground Zero, the Pentagon, and Shanksville following the politicians’ commemorative politicking at those sites, following the families of relatives of the 2,977 victims of 9/11/2001 publicly and privately expressing their grief in expectations of to closing memories that defy closure, the rats are leaving their ratholes.
To be sure, not every nation ignored 9/11.
Parts of the world paid solemn tribute to America’s incalculable losses on that day and shared our anguish on the tenth anniversary of the darkest day in American history. One of the most stirring expressions of solidarity occurred in Paris where two forty-foot replicas of the Twin Towers were erected in the shadow of the Eifel Tower displaying in two languages France’s national sentiment, “The French Will Never Forget.”
However, far from everyone abroad and at home expressed that emotion. The vermin emerged.
In London, instead of joining hands with Americans on solemn occasions dedicating memorials to the dead of September 11th, 2001 Muslims in London chose to emulate their fellow Islamists who hatefully exulted in the attacks on the World Trade Center and Washington ten years ago by spreading more hatred, compliments of Islam.
Members of the “religion of peace” set fire to an American flag outside the American embassy and disrupted a moment of silence declared in observation of that moment when Muslims crashed a Boeing 767 into the North Tower of the WTC.
Not content with Britain’s indulgences for sharia nor with British tolerance for the presence of a people on their soil dedicated to eradicating all remnants of English and Western tradition and law, Islamic crazies chanted “US Terrorists!” and carried signs condemning America and criticizing the Crusades.
One jihadist summarized all feigned Muslim grievances by declaring, “You [Americans?] will always face suffering, you [Western imperialists?] will always face humiliation, unless you [all nations not interested in a worldwide Islamic caliphate?] withdraw your troops from Muslim lands.”
Left unmentioned is any reference to September 11th, to Islam’s bloody history, or to the fact the Crusades ended in 1291 A.D. even if Muslim vengeance lingers on and most malcontented Muslim nations are still mired in the thirteenth century.
The grandson of Jewish immigrants to America, Paul Krugman, is another malcontent. . .

Never, EVER, Again!
Never, EVER, Again!
Years ago, the extremist Jewish Defense League adopted a catchphrase to denote their refusal to ever allow a repetition of the horror of the Nazi Holocaust which claimed the lives of some 6,000,000 Jewish lives : Never again! The JDL may be extreme but that slogan is anything but.
The slogan should be adopted with equivalent vehemence by the government of the United States and, if our government refuses to publicly proclaim the motto, “Never again!” in response to potential future holocausts such as those committed against America on September 11th, 2001, Americans should rise up and demand it be incorporated into our national foreign and domestic policies.
Subsequent attacks on our homeland could make what happened to the Jews seem like a minor blip in the history of humanity’s carnage.
Extreme? In a little-publicized comment, President Barack Hussein Obama concurred with America’s resident Muslim quisling, Fareed Zakaria, that the United States could “bounce back” even from terrorist nuclear attacks on our cities since we are so “resilient.”
There exists a common, mostly Christian, belief that good people should “forgive those who trespass” against them.
“Trespassing” can mean many things from intruding on our property to violating national borders with the intent of doing us harm; forgiving can refer to pardoning those who insult us to sparing the lives of those who murder Americans either on our soil or in a just war.
General Norman Schwarzkopf, retired commander of coalition forces in the first Persian Gulf War, succinctly reflected on the latter by saying, “Forgiveness is up to God. I just hope we hurry up the meeting.”
Allah may forgive Islamists. It’s doubtful a true God would, . . .

If anything, with New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s decision to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001 without allowing the presence of any clergy or the expression of any prayerful invocations, “Meet Me in the Stairwell” is more valuable than ever.

Newsday Puffs Muslims
Newsday, Long Island’s default daily newspaper due to its status as the only Long Island daily paper, published a commentary on Tuesday that must have been a failed attempt at twisted humor, an excursion into fantasy, an Islamic puff piece, or all of the above. (http://bit.ly/npGBJ2)
In a few hundred words, Ibrahim Negm, described as “senior adviser to the grand mufti of Egypt, the second-highest cleric among Sunni Muslims, and a visiting scholar at the Islamic Center of Long Island,” managed to incorporate dark humor, fantastical flights of disturbed fancy, and an unabashed puffery not as much for himself as for his religion, Islam.
Practicing its typical distortions, the ultra-liberal Newsday titled the piece, “Negm: American Muslims, American Goals,” as if its readers would be familiar with the ”senior adviser to the grand mufti of Egypt,” as if they would buy into the premise of the title, as if they would accept the idea that an Egyptian could speak for Americans and believe he would speak the truth.
Published just days before the tenth anniversary of the day when Muslim terrorists screaming “Allahu akbar!” attacked the United States and murdered 2,977 innocent people, the Newsday article reached a new low–even for Newsday–in its contempt for its readership and its country.
Negm begins his piece with what has to be the most preposterously-amusing and bizarre lies that, “The Prophet Muhammad is a model for all observant Muslims, . . . Muslims not only revere the personality of the prophet, but they strive to emulate him. The Quran describes him as a ‘mercy to the world.’ His compassion and magnanimity are immortalized in Islamic culture through both poetic expression and the everyday stories parents tell their children.”
Muhammad may be a Muslim model but that doesn’t say much for Muslims.
I would pity those kids if not . . .

A True 9/11 Lowlife: Natarajan Venkataram
Call them low-lifes or low-lives, they abound in our society today and Natarajan Venkataram isn’t the first and won’t be the last. He just qualifies as being among the lowest for stealing as much as $10 million in funds intended to identify the remains of the World Trade Center’s 9/11 victims.
India-native Venkataram admits to stealing from New York City’s Medical Examiner’s office, is abjectly sorry for his acts, is currently in federal detention at the Fort Dix Army Base, and refuses to turn over what’s left of his thievery.
Compounding his gross iniquities, he’s bitching about prison conditions.
The job of identifying the remains of 1,100 of the approximately 2,780 people who died at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001 is stupefying as evidenced by the vast number yet unidentified a decade later.
Many of the dead were vaporized in the fiery cataclysm of the attacks and relatives of the dead have suggested some remains were ignominiously dumped at the former Fresh Kills landfill in Staten Island, where an estimated two million tons of Ground Zero debris from the WTC were literally dumped to enable the rebuilding of the center complex.
The contentions of the relatives have been substantiated by the recovery of hundreds of bone and other human fragments at Fresh Kills as well as on the roof of the Deutsche Bank building.
Not that the ghoulish Venkataram cared about the horrors of 9/11 or where victims were buried or dumped. . .

Securing America
Securing America
A not quite new but timely and relevant website is rapidly gaining a following in an arena already blog-clogged with some 125 million entries, not counting China’s 75 million but including blogs on everything from reflections on parasites in cupcakes to scientific analyses of the effects of dandruff on sexual stimulation.
Separating the blog wheat from blog chaff crap is no simple endeavor but 9/11 FSA, 9/11 Families for a Secure America Foundation, (http://www.911fsafoundation.org/ ) is certainly worth a further look for anyone bored with parasites and dandruff and interested in insightly perspectives on such issues as the death of Osama bin Laden and on America’s illegal alien invasion.
Twenty-three year James Gadiel, the son of founder and president of 9/11 FSA, Peter Gadiel, worked on the 103rd floor of the WTC’s North Tower. Mr. Gadiel is one of many thousands who suffered the loss of a loved one on September 11th, 2001 and has been active ever since in the pursuit of justice for that fateful day and is primarily concerned with ensuring nothing like it ever happens again to our country.
Toward that end, Gadiel has testified repeatedly in Washington, before the 9/11 Independent Commission, to Congressional committees and state legislatures. He has made numerous guest appearances with people such as Chris Matthews, Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, et al. He has met with FBI Director Mueller, the Justice Department and DHS, and President Obama and has received the endorsements of a variety of congressmen including Reps. Sensenbrenner, Culberson, Gallegly. He has personally toured the southern borders of Texas, Arizona, and California.
In short, Gadiel knows whereof he speaks.
Gadiel’s broader view on 9/11–the absolute necessity of establishing border integrity–may not in itself be unique but it renews a subject which has gotten insufficient scrutiny over the last decade. He incorporates and directly links America’s illegal immigration issues with the attacks ten years ago, sensibly arguing that if we had secure borders and a sane immigration policy that tragedy may have been averted. Most of the Islamic, terrorist fanatics who claimed almost 3,000 lives on 9/11 were in the United States illegally. FSA draws a direct nexus between those attacks and the loss of thousands more American lives on Mideast fields of battle.
9/11 Families for a Secure America Foundation has a long and arduous road ahead of it as does America itself before this nation is again reasonably assured that our enemies will never again succeed in perpetrating another atrocity on our shores. The worst thing we could ever do would be to adopt an attitude of complacency or to forget the past which then would become a harbinger of our future.

When Islamic and Christian Worlds Collide
A good, general blogging rule of thumb is that when two sides of a controversial issue criticize you, it’s fairly certain an article was reasonable and objective.
I’ve had more than my share of brickbats and worse hurled my way by the Jewish community for commentary on such issues as the 1967 USS Liberty “incident” and, more recently, for articles on Judge Richard Goldstone’s U.N. Report on Israel’s actions in the Gaza War of 2008-2009. Therefore, I consider it a compliment when a Muslim sympathizer also attacks my objectivity.
A reader of my article, “Islam, the U.N., and 9/11,” http://bit.ly/gVLLxL, responded to my re-posting of that piece on CNSNews.com and “ithinkrevolution” was positively vitriolic. His screenname says a great deal about “ithinkrevolution’s” mindset and his comments says a great deal about his biases and skewed interpretation of history.
I wasn’t perturbed by his condescension, (“Before you make such a comment though you should read a bit more”) and his defense of the United Nations, (“The UN is not authorized to investigate such a matter”), as much as by “ithinkrevolution’s” free and breezy willingness to engage in Islamic revisionism.
The premises of “Islam, the U.N., and 9/11″ were the stultification of the United Nations, which has been evidenced so often it barely needs repetition, but primarily the effects of that uselessness and ineptitude on the U.N.’s ability to condemn Islamic terrorism or even to define terrorism almost 10 years after September 11th, 2001. The 57 members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the OIC, compounded by the sympathies and fear of other U.N. member states have seen to that.
“Ithinkrevolution” took issue with that contention but was particularly incensed over a critique of Islam’s violence and went on a roll: ”And as far as your ‘Islamic nations are historically accustomed to mass murder, religious mayhem, unimaginable bloody atrocities’, I hope your [sic] not a Christian who has the balls [sic] to make such a statement.” [Editor's note, I am and I do.] The history of Christianity is much more bloody and horrible than Islam is. The deaths in the Middle East since the creation of Israel. [sic] Until the Allies rolled in and forced tens of thousands of people out of homes their people| had lived in for nearly 2000 years. [sic]“
As rebuttal, I would point to the facts that Islam was born in violence replete with murders and bloody massacres, grew into invasions and pillaging, and reached its Golden Age through inflicting systematic devastation on the regions and nations it conquered. And, yes, it’s true that Christian armies in the Crusades . . .

I’ve had more than my share of brickbats and worse hurled my way by the Jewish community for commentary on such issues as the 1967 USS Liberty “incident” and, more recently, for articles on Judge Richard Goldstone’s U.N. Report on Israel’s actions in the Gaza War of 2008-2009. Therefore, I consider it a compliment when a Muslim sympathizer also attacks my objectivity.
A reader of my article, “Islam, the U.N., and 9/11,” http://bit.ly/gVLLxL, responded to my re-posting of that piece on CNSNews.com and “ithinkrevolution” was positively vitriolic. His screenname says a great deal about “ithinkrevolution’s” mindset and his comments says a great deal about his biases and skewed interpretation of history.
I wasn’t perturbed by his condescension, (“Before you make such a comment though you should read a bit more”) and his defense of the United Nations, (“The UN is not authorized to investigate such a matter”), as much as by “ithinkrevolution’s” free and breezy willingness to engage in Islamic revisionism.
The premises of “Islam, the U.N., and 9/11″ were the stultification of the United Nations, which has been evidenced so often it barely needs repetition, but primarily the effects of that uselessness and ineptitude on the U.N.’s ability to condemn Islamic terrorism or even to define terrorism almost 10 years after September 11th, 2001. The 57 members of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the OIC, compounded by the sympathies and fear of other U.N. member states have seen to that.
“Ithinkrevolution” took issue with that contention but was particularly incensed over a critique of Islam’s violence and went on a roll: ”And as far as your ‘Islamic nations are historically accustomed to mass murder, religious mayhem, unimaginable bloody atrocities’, I hope your [sic] not a Christian who has the balls [sic] to make such a statement.” [Editor's note, I am and I do.] The history of Christianity is much more bloody and horrible than Islam is. The deaths in the Middle East since the creation of Israel. [sic] Until the Allies rolled in and forced tens of thousands of people out of homes their people| had lived in for nearly 2000 years. [sic]“
As rebuttal, I would point to the facts that Islam was born in violence replete with murders and bloody massacres, grew into invasions and pillaging, and reached its Golden Age through inflicting systematic devastation on the regions and nations it conquered. And, yes, it’s true that Christian armies in the Crusades . . .

Islamic nations are historically accustomed to mass murder, religious mayhem, unimaginable bloody atrocities. That’s the only explanation and not a defense for the fact the last, best hope for a peaceful world, the United Nations, has failed not only to condemn the unprovoked terrorist, sneak attack on America almost ten years ago but to even arrive at a definition of terrorism.
The U.N. is quite capable of declaring an international Earth Day or to pass toothless resolutions against Saddam Hussein and Israeli aggression but to define or take action against the worldwide Islamic war against the West? That doesn’t pass muster or qualify for official condemnation or even meaningless sanctions.
The reason? A Mistress, a Cop, and 26 Republicans
No, the mistress, the cop, and the 26 Republicans is not a lead-in to a dirty joke and not elements of the same story, although they are related.
One thing the separate stories have in common is that each involves the unexpected: The mistress confesses that being kept isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, the cop is outed as more empathetic toward cop-murderers than to cops, and the Republicans bailed on national security.
The mistress, Cathrine Goldstein, is probably the least reprehensible of the lot. Author of Sleeping with Mortals: The Story of a New York Mistress, Goldstein is now a married Long Island mother but back in her heyday she was what some would call a whore and prostitute and worse, descriptions she understandably rejects.
A young, midwestern beauty, she “went wrong” after hitting New York City, hooked up in every way with older, usually married, always well-heeled men, and eventually came to understand that,”You feel like a goddess, seducing these men. But you quickly realize that you’re no more important than a blow-up doll:” http://tiny.cc/iw7tg
Goldstein may have serious difficulty explaining her youthful indiscretions to her neighbors, not to mention her kids, but, to her credit, she’s at least honest, sincere, and regretful and says, “You think it’s [a mistress' life] all glamorous, but it’s really not.”
Dante Alighieri, author of the Divine Comedy’s “Inferno,” was a bit of a rake in his own heyday which may explain why he consigned “The Lustful” to the Third Circle of Hell just below the innocents in Limbo and far from the Ninth Circle which was reserved for eternity for the souls of sinners against family, betrayers, and traitors.
I’m not consigning Goldstein anywhere but if the aforementioned cop and those 26 Republicans don’t qualify as betrayers and traitors I’ll chuck my edition of the Divine Comedy.
Former St. Petersburg, Florida police chief Goliath Davis III is neither honest, sincere, or regretful after he demonstrated that his loyalties and disturbing priorities did not lie with the law-abiding citizens of St. Pete but rather with a cop killer.
Two police officers Sgt. Thomas J. Baitinger and canine Officer Jeffrey A. Yaslowitz were murdered by career criminal Hydra Lacy, Jr. last month. Former police chief and current Senior Administrator of Community Enrichment Davis saw fit not to enrich the police community. He attended the funeral for the murderer, whose family was deeply appreciative. However, he skipped the funerals of the officers after indicating he would attend then lied about it.
Davis is black as was the cop-killer. The officers were white. Whether race was a factor in Davis’ choice of funerals is conjectural. His grievous lack of judgment and the insult to the families of the slain Baitinger and Yaslowitz were not.
Adding to the insult, the family of gunman Lacy . . .

Like all vermin who seem to have the capacity to cause new outbreaks just when exterminators and fumigators think they’ve been eradicated, the Ground Zero Mosque vermin have reappeared and now seem intent on effecting not just insult but contempt for the survivors and families of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks.
The Muslim developers of the Cordoba Project, re-named Park51 after their plans to build a mosque two blocks from Ground Zero encountered massive public protests, have been eerily quiet the last few months, They were clearly in the planning stages for their next attack. They have now announced their application for a $5 million federal grant to assist them in rubbing salt into the still-bleeding wounds Islamic terrorists caused nine years, two months, twelve days ago.
Apparently revelling in terrorist irony, the $5 million public gift to the Muslims would be taken from funds set aside for rebuilding Lower Manhattan as a consequence of the devastation caused by their fellow Muslims. To further emphasize the irony, they anticipate opening their monstrosity on the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
As reported by Johm Avlon of the DailyBeast.com, “While news of the application has not previously been made public, developer Sharif El-Gamal outlined it in closed-door meetings, according to two individuals he spoke with directly.”

Chiefly due to deference to a good buddy, I’ve tried to be objective over the whole 9/11 controversy, at least insofar as allegations that the United States government in general and the GWB administration in particular were complicit in that unspeakable disaster was concerned.
Not that I’m a government apparatchik or Bush idolator–I think our governments are out of control and that George W. Bush was the worst thing to happen to America and the Republican Party since Harding–but right is right and truth is truth.
Having spent a good deal of time–too much time–on this issue I can say unequivocably, without fear of contradiction, that I still don’t know the truth.
It would seem, however, that a major weapon in the fight to prove a government conspiracy, “Loose Change,” is a load of hogwash conceived originally as a fictional work and later converted into an alleged documentary for the sole purpose of making some big bucks for its writer and producers.

In addition, some Truthers take flights of fantasy to the level of absurdity. They would include charges that the Pentagon wasn’t struck by any aircraft and that Flight 93 never did crash in Shanksville and all of its 31 passengers were fellow conspirators whisked away by the government who consented to live somewhere in seclusion for the rest of their days.
Not bloody likely.
That said, much of the rest of the Truthers’ case is, if not gospel truth then at the minimum worthy of further investigation.

Today, the Truther side. The Truthers: In essence, based on video evidence and the vertical, symmetrical fall, “Building 7’s collapse showed all of the essential features of a controlled [precision] demolition” and could not possibly have resulted from debris damage from the North or South towers nor from burning diesel fuel.

The Truthers also have an eyewitness on their side, that is they had an eyewitness, one Barry Jennings, an emergency coordinator for the New York Housing Authority. Jennings had entered Building 7 after the first tower was hit but while both towers were still standing.
He later said the building was crammed with NYPD officers and that he definitely heard explosions before he was ordered out. Jennings escaped with his life but died a mysterious death in 2008 at age 53.
As one Truther-friendly website explained, incorporating Jennings as a victim in the conspiracy, ”In every major cover up from the JFK assassination to Iran Contra, we can see one common thread. The untimely death of eyewitnesses. Barry Jennings was not only an important and most credible eyewitness, but he openly refuted much of the government, and media version of events. . . . Now that the ninth anniversary of what is easily the most godawful day in American history, September 11th, 2001, has passed without the threatened Qur’an burnings in Florida–thanks to the persuasive words and strong arms of the FBI–we can sit back and await the momentous tenth anniversary which may see a mosque overshadowing Ground Zero.
One group of people won’t be sitting back, however. The 9/11 Truthers, aka 9/11 Skeptics, aka Truth Activists, rarely sit back.
They believe in their gut that the United States government and/or President George W. Bush somehow, in some way, planned/caused/executed/allowed/consented to (choose one or more of the foregoing) the hijacking of four American airliners and flying them into the World Trade Center towers, into the Pentagon, and into the ground at Shanksville, PA.
On face value, the Truthers’ case would have to be considered the most preposterous of all conspiracy theories, the most outrageous accusations against its government by its people, a reflection of a bitterness and cynicism so complete and sinister that they could conceive of their leadership murdering 3,000 innocents to accomplish their own Machiavellian ends.
I don’t buy it but I have to admit these Truthers raise troubling and still unanswered questions about 9/11.
I started out with ingrained opinions on the Truthers but, as with the Birthers, I try to be as objective as possible, one reason being that I promised a good friend, a closet Truther, that I would strive for objectivity. . .

The utter destruction of the World Trade Center by Islamic terrorists on September 11th, 2001, the attack on the Pentagon, and the failed attack that ended in a barren Pennsylvania field that same day will long be remembered and long be the subject of books, articles, poems, anecdotes, remembrances, movies, documentaries as well as rumors, innuendos, and outright lies.
Without diminishing the tragedies in Washington or in Shanksville, by the sheer force of the death toll in New York City, the attacks on the WTC must be considered the greatest loss America suffered nine years ago.

After those planes struck America on September 11th, 2001, many relatives of the victims roamed the smoking rubble and toxic air of Ground Zero in the vain hope of some word, any word, on their missing loved ones.
Few received any word.
By the very nature of their quest, all of those who posted notices on those dusty, dirt- encrusted doors and walls left standing in the vicinity of Ground Zero seeking information on fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters were emotionally moving but one was exceptionally so. A small boy carried a large sign asking, “Has Anyone Seen My Daddy?” with a photo of his dad attached.
It’s unlikely that anyone had seen the boy’s father.
It’s far more probable that he was one of those vaporized by the ferocity of the planes’ impacts, burned alive, crushed in the falling debris of two thousand-foot towers, or he was one of those many and still-uncounted who chose to escape the searing flames by a few moments of deadly exhilaration before they were literally obliterated when their bodies smashed into the pavement.
Too graphic? Too Much Information? Well, too damned bad for any overly-sensitive psyches out there. 9/11 is what it is, was what it was, and to hide from its realities is both an act of pusillanimity and perilously un-American. . .

Still on the Ground Zero Mosque Fence? Then Read this!
Now that the radical Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf has hit the trifecta in his quest to build his Park51, formerly known as the Cordoba Initiative, New York’s Monster Mosque just may be a go.
(The project name was changed due to the very negative associations with Cordoba, home to the Great Mosque in Cordoba, Spain which was built on the foundations of a Christian cathedral, a fact Muslims would not want Christians to think too much about.)
Rauf must be leaning on his architects to get the project moving so that it will be ready for its scheduled grand opening on, what else?, September 11th, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the Islamic attack on the World Trade Center.
Is that scheduling, indeed, the entire obscenity that is the Cordoba House Initiative/Park51, not the most outrageous example of Muslim in-your-face arrogance of this century, building a monument to Islam barely two blocks from Ground Zero?
Nevertheless, the Islamists now have the Democrat president of the United States as well as the Democrat governor of New York State and the lifelong Democrat mayor of New York City in their corner, all of them spouting the same tired drivel of freedom of religion while ignoring the essential truth that the Islamic religion is irrelevant in this matter.
Does our Jewish mayor ever think of what the Islamists in our midst think of him?
The perfect analogy has already been articulated. . . .

Black Humor
Black Humor
Black humor and dark comedy have nothing to do with race, although racial agitators probably construe those terms as racial just as they did some years back with the word ”niggardly” which simply means stingy or miserly.
Rather, black humor involves finding something darkly, ironically amusing in what are very serious issues. Three examples follow.
Our nation is under attack, whether most people want to concede that or not.
So we institute such measures as “no fly lists” which are supposed to protect us from Islamic or other terrorists by denying them passage on airlines which could be commandeered by those terrorists who could then turn those jetliners into missiles and hurl them into the White House and other targets.
The chief problem with that anti-terrorist “strategy” is that it assumes the crazies will employ the same tactics as they did on 9/11.
Notwithstanding that empty-headed assumption, a 6 year old Ohio girl, Alyssa Thomas, turned up on the terror watch list. . .

In case anyone missed it, there was a huge rally at Ground Zero last Sunday, June 6th protesting the proposed construction of a mosque steps away from the site where 2,751 innocent people died on September 11th, 2001.
It’s understandable if anyone missed that news in which some 10,000 people gathered to protest the plan since ABC, CBS, FNC, and NBC had better things to do than cover the rally even if the international media were on hand.
The 13 story mosque, disaffectionately known as the monster mosque, will be called Cordoba House, and is the brainchild of Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf. According to its website, the building will house ”a 500-seat auditorium, swimming pool, art exhibition spaces, bookstores, restaurants–all these services would form a [Muslim] cultural nexus.”
It would also include a fitness center, library, public conference rooms, and basketball courts, according to the Tribeca Tribune.
In other words, it will be a fun-filled Islamic meeting and recreational center mere blocks away from where Islamic militants committed mass murder in America. To emphasize the in-your-face quality of the obscene enterprise . . .
