Observations on Crimes and the People Who Commit Them
Criminality like poverty will always be with us. It doesn’t take an unemployed NASA scientist to realize that, as long as the human species reproduces unsavory malcontents, greedy thieves, and amoral sociopaths, some people will assault, rob, maim, and murder other people.
Crime and criminals exist in every socio-economic strata with those in the “upper classes” most often engaging in major thievery and embezzlement–like the master of the Ponzi scam, Bernie Madoff–although the rich and famous aren’t exempt from murderous escapades–like rock impresario Phil Spector.
Other classes are more likely to indulge in a wider variety of criminality, what some sociologists explain away as a consequence of their status: In effect, they steal because the devil or their mama made them do it and they maim, murder, and wreak havoc because they don’t know any better due to poor parenting, impoverishment, social inequities, and societal-legal discrimination.
All of that, of course, is hogwash. Poor criminals become criminals for the same fundamental reasons the rich become criminals: a lack of respect, for themselves, for the law, for common decency, and for other people.
The Irish were notorious criminals a century ago. The term “paddy wagons” dates to the nineteenth century and referred to New York City police vehicles used to transport often drunk and disorderly, legal Irish immigrants arrested during Civil War draft riots and, afterward, apprehended for petty thievery or worse misdeeds.
The Irish–and Italians, to a lesser extent–climbed out of that political rut because they gained, earned, and learned respect for themselves, etc.
Today, although it’s politically incorrect to articulate it and the FBI is no longer allowed to track crime on racial bases, the unfortunate truth is that African-Americans per capita are responsible for far more criminal activity than whites. That said, it’s incontestable that, compared to whites, blacks represent a grossly disproportionate number of inmates in U.S. jails and prisons. However, the rate of black incarceration is not attributable to racism, as racial agitators contend with scant proof, but to the reality that African-Americans are disproportionately guilty of the commission of crimes.
That brings us back to the root question of, Why? In turn, the “why” leads us to the aforementioned dearth of respect and those same agitators who make their street creds–and all too frequently win elections--by perpetuating the racism myth as the cause . . .

Only the New York Times could run a headline, “Is Anti-White Bias a Problem?”
Well, that’s not exactly true since the Washington Post, the LA Times, the Boston Globe, and countless other liberal-leftist “newspapers” could easily have posed the same inane question but “The Paper of Record,” until it goes defunct, is still the standard bearer which still sets the agenda and the tone of social and political discourse in America.
Based on that headline, and granting the query ran on its “Opinion” page, either the Times has doubts on whether bias against white people in the United States is problematic or, if it exists, does it matter? Otherwise, why even broach the topic for discussion?
Will the “Old Grey Lady’s” next subject be, ”Wife Beating, Good or Bad?” or, “Is Gay-Bashing Ever Profitable?”
The brief Times piece begins with, ”In what some have called the new post-racial era, what constitutes discrimination is shifting,” then cites one of many instances in which African-Americans have contested fair and equitable municipal qualification exams and have had the results of those tests overturned in courts. One of those decisions, in turn, was overruled by the U.S. Supreme Court which determined it discriminated against white people. (http://nyti.ms/mHRTuK)
“Is Anti-White Bias a Problem” cites a research study which “found that Americans think significant progress has been made in the fight against anti-black bias. But white Americans perceived that progress as coming at their expense and that anti-white bias has become a bigger societal problem than anti-black bias.”
Employing a 1-10 scale, the researchers discovered significant changes in what people have come to perceive about bias over the past 50 years: Black perceptions of anti-black bias declined from 9.7 in the fifties to 6.1 today while black views of bias against whites rose a minuscule 1.4 to 1.8. That latter number clearly shows the national, racial divide: White perceptions of anti-white bias soared from 1.8 to 4.7 in the same time period . . .

How much am I offered for this fine African specimen? All negroes move to the back of the bus! If you’re gay, you’re fired!
Kevin Jennings, America’s “Safe Schools Czar,” officially President Obama’s assistant deputy secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools, unofficially government deviant, is as out of place safeguarding schools as Sheriff Bull Connor or David Duke would have been on a Civil Rights panel or Adolph Hitler as a guess lecturer in Jewish studies.
Jennings gave a lecture in which he equated slavery and racial segregation to alleged discrimination against homosexuals. Civil Rights pioneers must wonder how many gays have been sold, lynched, and sent to the backs of buses.
Jennings doesn’t wonder at all. He’s convinced that homosexuals are the modern equivalent of slaves and their treatment the contemporary equivalent of what African-Americans endured during slavery and KKK and Jim Crow days. At least that’s what he told Maryland high school students. How any of his lies relate to the mission of his office is questionable.
Jennings has an interesting resume’.
A former Massachusetts teacher and author of One Teacher in Ten, he admitted to counseling a 16 year old boy to wear a condom when engaging in homosexual sex acts with an adult predator. He is the proud founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network, GLSEN, which is little involved with heterosexuals but which ”has played an integral role in promoting homosexuality and pushing a pro-homosexual agenda in America’s schools.” He wrote a laudatory foreward for a book, Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue About Sexualities and Schooling. Jennings was an obvious pick for a gay-friendly president . . .
