Defining Moments

Defining Moments

We all experience defining moments, those Eureka! times in our lives when we experience personal epiphanies whether large or small which constitute new understandings of who we are and why we’re here.

Perez Hilton, age 33, “celebrity blogger superstar and author,” had his moment defined when he realized he was in a chubby phase. As he put it, “I think that was a manifestation of how not taking care of myself I was [sic] and how I didn’t have anyone around to make me make sure I was taking care of me. So now my mom makes sure I’m taking care of myself:” http://aol.it/hgQF2M

That enlightening tidbit of celeb inconsequentiality on PopEater.com didn’t delve into Perez’ other defining moments such as when he went all tweetery over being called a “faggot” and was assaulted by a Black Eyed Pea or when he went obscenely ballistic on Miss California, Carrie Prejean, over her beliefs in normal marriage and over Demi Moore’s accusations that he was a pedophile: http://bit.ly/gMxnoI

It was good to hear, though, that Perez recovered from his fat phase, thanks to his mommy.

Unrecovered, apparently, from their sexually-abstinent high school years are some students at the University of Chicago whose defined moment came when they hit upon a unique idea, providing a website for UC students to hook up, a euphemism for college kids to hop into bed together, or into an elevator or into a custodian’s closet to copulate.

Their school is dedicated to “Changing the World.” They’re dedicated to getting some.

“A group of University of Chicago students have [that should be "has" but why quibble on copulation?] created a website called UChicagoHookups.com. The site offers students a chance to spice things up on campus by helping them hook up with other students for casual sexual encounters” and features as its motto, . . .

Perez Hilton: Pedophile or Just Perez Hilton?

Gays are all in a dither, but what else is new?

They fear that Obama is retreating on another promise, this one to his LGBT constituency that he would work to repeal the Clinton and the military’s, “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. So, the president is breaking another promise. What else is new? (http://tinyurl.com/d2tekm)

That’s all inconsequential compared to the rush of Hollywood twittering.

Perez Hilton, who defines dithering and other things, has his panties in a wad over charges that he’s a pedophile.

Perez is no more a pedo than Michael Jackson was! Oh, wait, the King of Pop was a child molestor. Poor example, sorry.

Anyway, poor, thweet Perez is in the national news again. Last time was when he was socked in the eye after calling a Black Eyed Pea in Toronto a “faggot.” Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

The guy punched him out and Perez did what all good homosexuals would do. No, he didn’t strike back. Well, he did, sort of, by literally “twittering,” in 145 characters or less: “I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke:” http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=1073.

I don’t know whatever came of that little contretemps, that knockdown in Toronto, nor do I care. Perez evidently survived with his life, if not his dignity.

Prior to that, of course, was Perez’ exhibitionism on The Donald’s Miss America Contest when he gained national and not just Left Coast fame for torpedoing Miss California, Carrie Prejean.

She dared to speak up for her non-PC religious beliefs and say the obvious, that marriage should be reserved for one man and one woman: http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=1012.

Carrie didn’t precisely put it this way but homosexuals, transgenders, and gerbils need not apply.

That set off Perez Hilton who, for some inexplicable reason was a judge in a contest evaluating the pulchritude and talents of young women. He’d be much better qualified to evaluate the beauty and talents of young gay men.

When the homosexual heat,. . .

Fairly Funny News

Fairly Funny News

Most rational people are aware that times are bad right now, not nearly as bad as our Captain Crisis, aka the president, constantly says they are, but we’ve certainly seen better times.

Therefore, since levity, as well as brevity, is the soul of wit, we take a break today to look at the lighter side of news since we all need a laugh, right? Since humor is in the perception of the humored, some of what follows may not meet with universal agreement that they’re “funny” stories but they are to me, for one reason or another.

First is bloody funny, not the Brit understanding of “bloody” as in cursed or damned but as in featuring blood.

Perez Hilton, that freak of nature who had less than complimentary remarks about Carrie Prejean when she stated the obvious about gay marriage, had his comeuppance the other night.

Shown above reflecting his surly best despite being a surly gay, poor Perez got socked in the eye outside a Toronto nightclub after he called a guy “a faggot.” Again, that’s not Brit for a cig but referring to a real faggot, a queer, a gay blade, a homosexual.

Now, Perez doesn’t take a back seat, pun intended, to anyone when it comes to being a flamer so I think that qualifies as funny, sort of the pot calling the kettle black and all. And when pusillanimous Perez got socked, he apparently didn’t sock back but instead Twitted, which I also think was funny.

Here’s a “guy” who was just assaulted and how does he retaliate but by Twittering on that social networking site, in 145 characters or less, of course, “I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke:” http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D98VS5RG1&show_article=1.

Oh, he was at the club with Lady Gaga. I think that’s funny, too, or maybe I should just get out more?

Passing gas isn’t usually funny after we pass the age of 15. Well, for males it’s funny up through college years, at least. However, it’s no laughing matter, I’ll have you know, when it comes to bovine, atmosphere-polluting, methane emissions which accounts for some 2% of America’s greenhouse gasses.

Coming to the planet’s rescue, a couple of organic milk producers in Vermont thinks they’ve made one giant leap for mankind by changing their cow-diet. . . .

Good News, Bad News for Gays

The news is good and bad lately for the homosexual community. Unfortunately for most of us, it is mostly good.

Good Gay News: On Wednesday, a California State Senate committee voted 6-2 to designate May 22 as “Harvey Milk Day,” with 6 Dems voting in favor and 2 Republicans voting nay.

Randy Thomasson of SaveCalifornia.com called the “Gay Day Bill” one of the worst bills in the history of California” while gays lauded it as one of the greatest things since the American Psychiatric Association stopped referring to homosexuality a mental aberration.

Thomasson went on to say, “If signed into law, SB 572 will mean an official day commemorating homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality in California government schools, without parental permission.” He added that the bill would “encourage public schools to positively portray to children any and all facets of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transsexuality, and anything else that’s ‘in the closet.’ ” (http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=47785)

The bill would mesh very nicely with a bill before the U.S. Senate that would make violations of the rights of pedophiles and 546 other lovers of perversion federal “hate crimes:” http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=995.

(See below for bad news about Harvey Milk and Milk. )

More good gay vibes came from none other than 16 year old Miley (Hannah Montana) Cyrus who profoundly twittered on Twitter an apologia to Perez Hilton. Perez is the flamer who ripped into Miss California, Carrie Prejean, calling her ”a dumb bitch” and almost loosing the C-word because Prejean had dared to articulate her Christian view in favor of normal marriage: http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=975.

Summoning all the wisdom that God bestows on teenagers, Miley twittered, ”God’s greatest commandment is to love, and judging is not loving. That’s why Christians have such a bad rep. Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That’s like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he’s gay and that is wrong and very sad! Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you - gay or not. Because you are no different that [sic] anyone else! We are all God’s children!”

Miley Cyrus seems like a sweetie but then again I thought Britney was a sweetie. So, what do I know? Well, I know gays would appreciate Miley’s take on theology, as would Perez, one of Miley’s version of ”God’s children.”

Bad Gay News: In a rare smattering of bad news for our gay brethren, House Speaker Nancy “Wild-Eyes” Pelosi has announced that Congress is so darn busy with other momentous issues that same-sex marriage legislation is not a congressional priority.

What with that hate-crime legislation in the works and the fact that New England states, plus Iowa, have been leading the charge to placate homosexuals with legalizing unnatural marriages, Speaker Wild Eyes is in no rush.

Nancy well knows that gays . . .
