Obama's United Nations Is Gutting Our United States

Obama's United Nations Is Gutting Our United States

Bar none–Jimmy Carter, Warren Harding and Millard Fillmore not excluded–Barack Hussein Obama is clearly the worst president in the history of the republic.

Repeatedly exposed as an overachieving fraud, a liar, a Chicago-style thug with established ties to terrorists and other reprobates, none of which ties have been investigated by the mainstream media, Mr. Obama incredibly still expects to win re-election in November.

Just as obvious, it’s evident that our 44th commander in chief has one sincere commitment.

He may have no respect for America’s Constitution, no interest in the future of the United States, and is a proven, gaffe-plagued incompetent but Obama does have a deep and abiding love–an affection not for his lovely wife but for the institution that promises to serve as one of his primary vehicles for accomplishing his ultimate goal of destroying America as we know and love it: the United Nations.

And the slew of socialistic, dictatorial Third World members of the U.N.–the majority membership–are busily, shamelessly working to achieve Obama’s aim.

The United Nations, that last, best hope of mankind has evolved into a power-hungry, anti-Western, anti-American blot on humanity and has long been out of touch with American interests.

The UN now wants to “find resources to finance development needs and address growing global [Third World] challenges, such as combating climate change and is “suggesting various ways to tap resources through international mechanisms, such as coordinated taxes on carbon emissions, air traffic, and financial and currency transactions.”

In other words, just like Obama, the UN wants to tax the bejesus out of those evil rich bastards who create jobs and prosperity to artificially lift third-worlders out of the eighteenth century.

Why bother struggling as Americans did to accomplish what we have when you can legally steal what you need via international taxes on the world’s successful, entreprenurial, capitalist pigs?

And those taxes are just the beginning. . .

Obamacare, an Absolutely Monumental Fraud

Obamacare, an Absolutely Monumental Fraud

Fraudulent governmental initiatives and fraudulent private organizations all have one thing in common: They want the public to believe they are something they are not.

Case in point: Obamacare.

(The monumental frauds Facebook.com, Google.com, the Washington Post, and the United Nations, all of which are great fans of our president and all of which adhere to the misguided liberal principles of deception and distortion, will follow.)

Above all else, President Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrat Party hoped Americans would fall for the lies and hype and believe the Affordable Care Act was eminently affordable and that people who already had medical insurance and who were averse to socialistic medicine would be “permitted” by their government to keep their coverage and their doctors.

As when Obama “absolutely” pledged that Obamacare would not impose any new taxes, both claims have proven to be frauds.

By the time Obamacare is fully implemented in 2018, it not only will be unaffordable to many people but 20 new or greatly-increased taxes will have been levied on Americans and millions of the currently-insured would be able, “permitted,” to retain their doctors only if government bureaucrats approve of their physicians and their course of treatment.

Of course, none of that applies to those bureaucrats, or congressmen, or other federal employees since the ACA exempts them–and millions of workers in protected unions and industries–from Obamacare’s onerous and largely unknown provisions.

When the United States Supreme Court unexpectedly ruled last week that Obama’s legacy issue was constitutional and is now indisputably the law of the land, SCOTUS neglected to incorporate very relevant Obamacare details in its controversial decision.

Never mind that passage of Obamacare had so consumed the president and the Democrat Party for almost two years while they controlled the presidency and both houses of Congress that they were forced to pass the ACA by bribing and intimidating opponents.

Never mind that Obama and his Democrat Party ignored far more critical problems . . .

Taxes: The Price We Pay for What?

Taxes: The Price We Pay for What?

Just about everyone has always hated what Oliver Wendell Holmes long ago called “the price we pay for civilization,” taxes.

All the phony Washington yammering over billionaire Warren Buffett’s tax rate as opposed to his secretary’s makes as little sense as the president’s foreign policies since taxing every millionaire in the country 100% on their earnings wouldn’t amount to a hill of beans to reduce Obama’s trillion dollar deficits. Still, it’s worthwhile to consider the whole concept of governments siphoning money from its citizens.

The ancient Romans resented paying their precious coppers to the emperor and hid in public urinals to escape the dreaded tax collector, thousands of modern Romans avoid kicking in their euros to support their corrupt leadership, yet most Americans dutifully if not happily file their 1040′s on time every year.

Whether it’s still just the price we pay for civilization or the price the majority of taxpayers pay to keep peace among the underclasses, the price we pay others to pay less as we pay more, or simply the price to insure the government is able to provide cradle to the grave subsidies for those not interested in providing for themselves, is debatable.

What’s not debatable is that good citizens had better pay up by April 17th or be hit with penalties and be hounded to distraction by the American version of the gestapo, the Infernal Revenue Service. This year we have the grace of an additional two days to cough up what we owe instead of paying by the date that fittingly coincides with the fateful day Lincoln died and the Titanic sank to the bottom of the Atlantic.

Sure, federal taxes serve constitutional purposes of providing for the national defense, etc. but the tax code is now larger than the iceberg that sank the Titanic and almost as deadly.

The code, rife with loopholes and exemptions and gifts and penalties, now encompasses over 9 million words requiring more than 90,000 IRS employees to administer it with a budget in excess of $11billion, . . .

Obama's Abomonible Obamanomics

Obama's Abominable Obamanomics

Ever wonder when you wake up in the morning if we’re blessed to be living in a rare age of wonderment, of great innovations and unprecedented progress? Or is ours a cursed era where little makes sense, where up is down, where truths are lies, where the formerly-understood has degenerated into massive confusion?

Our age is all of the above, though the nonsensical, falsehoods, misrepresentations, and confusions have upstaged innovative progress, taken center stage, and are evolving into the norm.

When President Barack Hussein Obama unequivocably declared in August, 2009 that the United States should never raise taxes during a recession, he seemed, even to me, sincere. When he said, “The last thing you want to do is raise taxes during a recession,” he seemed to believe what most rational people think, that the very thought of any government taxing money out of an already-reeling economy was incomprehensible.

That was then, this is now.

Two years later, with America’s economy still in pitiful shape, unemployment stuck at over 9%, poverty on the rise, the under-employed numbering some 26 million, those who hire not hiring for fear of the future, food stamps being doled out like candy at Halloween, the nation’s credit rating lower than ever before, our president is proposing $1.6 trillion in new tax levies.

Fear not, however. Those taxes, which he pledged would never be exacted during a recession, will only burden the filthy rich, i.e., anyone earning more than his constituents. The 45% of American workers who don’t pay a dime in federal income taxes now will continue to save that dime under his scheme and the wealthy would finally cough up their fair share.

Obama never lets facts intrude on his socialist ideology and intentionally ignores an Associated Press report which puts the lie to his populist soak the rich gambit.

The same AP that has twisted news to his advantage since 2007 exposed Obama for a tax charlatan by revealing the truth.

According to the CBO, ”On average, the wealthiest people in America pay a lot more taxes than the middle class or the poor . . . They pay at a higher rate, and as a group, they contribute a much larger share of the overall taxes collected by the federal government. The 10 percent of households with the highest incomes pay more than half of all federal taxes. They pay more than 70 percent of federal income taxes.”

So much for Obama-buddy multi-billionaire, Warren Buffett, so much for Obama’s wealth theories.

Regardless of his other misrepresentations, did we miss something here? Did the recession, when raising taxes was verboten, end and nobody noticed? . . .

Buffett's Bluffing

Buffett's Bluffing

. . . Unlike most carpenters, Buffett has, he says, cut off his progeny from his billions when he eventually shuffles off this mortal coil. Susan, Howard, and Peter Buffett can just shuffle for themselves, he says, when Warren bites the bullet and moves on up to the great corporation in the sky.

He might just as well sing, “If I were a billionaire/ And gave it all away/ Would you love me anyway/ Would you be my babies?”

Maybe they will, and maybe not since Buffett’s whole, politically-motivated charade, his pledge to give away 99% of his almost boundless wealth, most to be dispensed, with strings attached and in relative deibbles, to the philanthropic Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is an outrageous crock.

Borne of his new-found, George Soros-esque, socialistic, pseudo-egalitarianism and guilt over decades of milking the capitalist system for all it was worth, Buffett’s pledge is less a promise than a threat.

When octogenarians sniff their mortality, some seem to get social consciences even as their years tend to cloud their sanity.

Alternatively referred to as the Oracle of Omaha and the Sage of Omaha, the oracular, sagacious Buffett earned his billions as Chairman, CEO, and principal shareholder of the amazingly-successful American conglomerate, holding company, Berkshire Hathaway.

Just incidentally, Buffett indirectly made my neighbor a millionaire when Berkshire’s principal holding, Coca Cola, bought out his modest Coke delivery enterprise. For that, my neighbor is eternally grateful, even worshipful, of Buffett, Berkshire Hathaway, and Coke, although he thinks Buffett’s professed, current political and economic views are asinine.

Good call, neighbor!

In conjunction with his 99% pledge which, even if fulfilled some day and which would leave him with a piddling $600,000,000 of his current $60 billion kitty, Obama buddy Buffett wants his fellow billionaires to cough up half their money for the common good, an invitation with as much likelihood of acceptance as Obama becoming a capitalist.

Knowing that Pollyannaish idea is a non-starter, he has other monetary plans up his sleeve which would threaten the livelihoods of millions.

Buffett made headlines with his as yet unfulfilled 99% giveaway as well as with his claim of paying 17.4% in federal taxes, a much lower rate than that paid by his secretary, and with his persistent insistence that the government undertaxes the rich even as it is in dire need of additional funding.

He ignores the truth that the upper echelons already pay 70% of federal taxes and 45% of those at the other end pay zilch and he doesn’t cite the primary cause of that funding shortfall–Obama’s profligacy. He also hasn’t offered to raise his secretary’s salary in compensation nor to write a check for ten billion or so to the Treasury Department to tide it over.

What he could do to help his country, and hasn’t . . .

The Tea Party Serves Notice

The Tea Party Serves Notice

The American tea party movement, the Tea Party, the TPM, was founded on two guiding emotions, frustration and fear, frustration with how governments regard and treat the governed, fear that our leaders and the taxation they imposed were out of control and driving us into bankruptcy.

Both feelings have been proven well-grounded in recent weeks as illustrated by the farcical debt ceiling agreement with its obvious cop-out, the superduper committee, the subsequent Standard and Poors credit downgrade, and the unprecedented stock market upheaval.

The Tea Party arose initially in 2009 as a populist reaction to mindless bailouts, ineffectual stimuli, and an unconstitutional government takeover of health care but has evolved into much more than the Taxed Enough Already Party, as some wags have labeled it. The Tea Party has aroused fear in the liberal hearts of misplaced RINOs in the Republican Party and in the quaking, lost souls of spendthrift Democrats.

Demonstrating that fear, the Left has adopted a policy of demonizing Tea Partiers and their movement as seen most recently by our odd vice president describing them as terrorists, then apologizing for that calumny knowing full well the terrorist label will stick and the apology will soon be forgotten.

Then, some shrink on the leftist MSNBC termed the Tea Party angry, delusional, potentially violent idealists and compared them to the Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik all because they want fiscal sanity in a vast sea of financial dementia. (http://bit.ly/qj2TPT)

Talk about insanity!

Senate Majority Leader Reid was no less out of touch when he predicted the Tea Party would fade away like old soldiers and “will lose a number of seats next year.” Poor Harry has apparently forgotten the TPM only came into its own in 2010 with the conservative avalanche in Congress and refuses to acknowledge that, after two years its supporters have surpassed the number of liberals in the nation.

That latter, chilling news for Dems comes to us via Gallup polls conducted July 27 and August 2. Gallup announced yet another stake through the liberal heart in earlier polls which found that 41% of Americans consider themselves conservatives versus 21% still foolish enough to admit to being liberals. . .

Taxes, Taxes, Taxes!

Taxes, Taxes, Taxes!

For those residing under rocks or in Neverland, on or about April 15th, you will be expected to pony up an excessively high percentage of your hard-earned income to Uncle Sam or to his state and municipal imitators.

Of course, if you’re among the 35% or so of Americans who are living scotfree of income taxes, you’re “in like Flynn” on April 15th, exempt from what Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. called, “the price we pay for civilization,” what 21st century taxpayers would call an inordinate charge, which taxpayers would call the people who don’t pay any income taxes leeches.

What better word describes people who suck at the public teat and who contribute nothing toward the the sustenance of that teat?

Still, there’s even more bad news for us honest taxpayers: For those who haven’t noticed, income taxes are just the beginining. In governmental sleights of hand designed to make us schlups think the IRS and its state counterparts are the only governmental pocket-pickers and to convince us that taxes are really in the public’s best interests, the feds, states, and localities have cooked up all kinds of thievery.

Ken and Daria Dolan outline just some of those tricks of the governmental trade: http://aol.it/hWuFJt

Take, for instance, what are termed “sin taxes,” financial penalties for what bureaucrats deem activities detrimental to our health and moral well being. Testimony to political hypocrisy, the imposition of such behavioral taxes presupposes the moral superiority of the imposers who, all too often, are imposters.

The Dolans cite levies on liquor, gambling, and smoking but include in other categories taxes on equally “sinful” pursuits such as strip shows and the like as well as taxes on those who indulge in a friendly game of poker with playing cards. . .

Boring Stimulus Facts that Will Change Our Lives

Boring Stimulus Facts that Will Change Our Lives

Ever get a big wad of unexpected cash fom somewhere? Were you conflicted as to what to do with it, whether to just go out and blow it, pay off bills, or save it for a rainy day?

The Obama administration had no such conflict, no doubts at all as to what to do with the $862 billion windfall it got its hands on as a result of the critically-needed 657 page stimulus bill last year, to which Democrats assigned the grandiose title of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Like any good drunken Democrat, they pissed it away.

The result has been no economic recovery, no “reinvestment,” (whatever that meant), and certainly no stimulus felt by the economy or the American people. Employment remains at an intolerable 9.5% a full 17 months after Obama’s stimulus package was passed by Obama’s Democrat congress and after the president promised that its passage would keep the unemployment rate at 8% or less.

One could say that we were snookered except for the fact that the snookering, as well as all the other Obamian boondoggles perpetrated on the American people, will not only affect us, the taxpayers. Our kids and grandkids will be paying off much of the tab into the next century.

And now Obama and his merry band of spendthrift Democrats want yet another “stimulus package” to piss away.

The inmates have clearly taken over the asylum.

Republicans, who also screwed up during the Bush years with their irrational exuberance for spending our and our kids’ and grandkids’ hard-earned bucks, have nothing to crow about but at least the deficits they built up during those years were believable if obscene. . .

Bad and Good News from across the Pond

Bad and Good News from across the Pond

Britain’s day in the sun has largely passed. The glory days of the vaunted British Empire are long gone and the sun regularly sets on it.

Still, in its waning years as Islam continues to gain stronger footholds throughout England in its quest to Islamicize the nation, Great Britain if no longer great still serves as a bellwether for both bad and good trends in America.

For example, Britain has long been a safe haven for abortion and abortionists and the procedure is relatively common though numbers show a very slight decrease in the last year; almost all are funded by the socialized health care program known as the National Health Service or NHS.

Nevertheless, even mad dogs and Englishmen sustained a shock to their sensibilities with the revelation that some British women practice abortion with the same casualness as they approach an afternoon of tea and crumpets.

Of a total of 189,100 abortions (with 2,094 involving girls under 15) in England and Wales in 2009, a shocking 48 were performed on women who have had seven or more abortions and another 3,630 on women who were chalking up their fourth, fifth, or sixth “terminations:” http://tiny.cc/xg7ec

Other methods of birth control are readily available but apparently thousands of women prefer to abort rather than use them, especially since the NHS is picking up the tab.

On the good news front, Britain’s new Work and Pensions Secretary Iian Douglas Smith has declared . . .

TEA Party Poll

TEA Party Poll

Just as a ham sandwich can be indicted with a little effort, any poll can be skewed depending on the pre-conceived notions of the poll takers, the wording of the questions, the tone of the questioners, etc.

With that in mind, when a political poll is conducted by CBS News and the New York Times it’s immediately suspect. When the subject of that poll is the participants in the TEA Party phenomenon now sweeping the nation, one should always take the results with a hefty grain of salt.

Nevertheless, the results are interesting even given the decidedly leftist nature of the pollsters.

Based on 1580 respondents in a random telephone sample. of whom 56% were TEA Party supporters, the poll was conducted April 5th-12th. Some of the highlights: . . .

Death and Taxes

Death and Taxes

“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” (BenjaminFranklin); ”Taxes are the price we pay for civilization.“ (Oliver Wendell Holmes)

Franklin was semi-correct in his observation, in the death part, but though taxes are always with us the rates are always negotiable in a civilized society thus adding a degree of uncertainty.

The Obama administration commented on death without ever using the word. In the context of a nuclear attack on the United States we were reminded, (just reminded, mind you), that local agencies should and would be the first responders and decimated cities shouldn’t expect to see the feds on hand for 72 hours or more.

The reader may recall the uproar over FEMA’s slow response in the aftermath of Katrina when President G.W. Bush was lambasted for doing a flyover over New Orleans and commending FEMA head Michael Brown (”Brownie, you’re doing a heck of a job”). President Obama seems to want to forestall any such criticism by warning local officials not to expect any “significant federal response” for up to four days if they were nuked.

Barry, you’re doing a heck of an advance job.

It’s bad enough that Obama was talking about the unthinkable, a terrorist nuclear attack on an American city, but he gives fair warning that the surviving victims would be on their own for a good few days. Brownie screwed up after massive flooding; Barry is planning to screw up after a mushroom cloud rises above NYC or LA or SF or DC.

Some 1836 people died from Katrina, a horrendous toll. Tens of thousands would be killed in a nuclear blast but fear not, says the White House in a guide posted online and sent to local officials, in effect saying you guys will be just fine until we get around to you.

And what would that blast do? “A 10-kiloton nuclear explosion would level buildings within half a mile of ground zero, generate 900-mph winds, bathe the landscape with radiation and produce a plume of fallout that would drift for hundreds of miles, the guide says.” That would be followed by chaos so the plan is for the feds to hang back until things were more settled: http://bit.ly/agkd93

Then there’s tax news, which seems cheerful in comparison. . .

The VAT Is Coming! The VAT Is Coming!

The VAT Is Coming! The VAT Is Coming!

Ever go to Europe and get sticker shock with the prices of just about everything? The Euro-style technique of surreptitious taxation, the VAT or Value Added Tax, is coming to America.

The VAT’s arrival won’t quite be the equivalent of Godzilla attacking New York or L.A. and isn’t quite the same as when the Russians were coming. The VAT will be much worse than a Godzilla or a bunch of Russians attacking.

We could kill Godzilla and repel the Russians; the Value Added Tax is forever, forever picking our wallets, forever gnawing away at our savings and pensions, forever expanding the welfare state and the socialization of America.

The beauty of the VAT to bureaucrats is that it’s so sinister, so sneaky, so permanent.

As prices rise exponentially on every good and service imaginable, from what your dentist or mechanic charges to what you pay for a pack of butts or set of underwear to every mortgage or rent payment, the politicians can just throw up their hands in dismay and blame your dentist, your mechanic, your retailer, your bank or landlord.

The VAT is an almost perfect system of legalized, governmental thievery and it’s coming to a government near you as surely as the sun will rise in the morning.

Former chairman of the Federal Reserve Paul Volcker and now chairman of the president’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board . . .

The Great States of Taxes

The Great States of Taxes

Let’s have a nice round of applause for Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. Those are the only 9 states without a personal income tax and where citizens don’t have to wait for their state governments to send them their annual refunds for overpaid taxes.

And, let’s have a rousing Bronx cheer for those taxpaying dolts expecting a hefty refund from their respective state governments for giving those governments, as well as the feds, an interest free loan for a year or more.

You usually only get a big refund if you have your employer over-withhold taxes from your wages so you’re effectively giving the federal treasury as well as your state and local governments that tax free loan.

I must say that’s very generous of all you hefty refunders out there. It’s also very stupid.

Even dumber are taxpayers who agree to over-withholding in states having the greatest troubles balancing their budgets. Those are the states–including California and New York–which have announced that they will be glomming even more money from their hapless denizens by not issuing refunds on time.

Try taking one of Governor Arnold’s IOU’s to the bank or grocery store or to that travel agency that was booking your trip to the Bahamas with that refund “windfall.” You may have to settle for a trip to the backyard until your governor gets around to returning your money.

You should receive interest on that extended, forced loan but don’t bet on it.

As Tax Freedom Day, the day on which working Americans will have paid up all their federal, state and local tax levies, approacheth, . . .

Contemptible Quickies #3

Recall the Obamassiah’s repetitive pledge during the presidential campaign and in the heady exhilaration after his election not to hike taxes on the middle class? Recall his pledge not to raise taxes for anyone making less than $250,000?

Well, fugeddabout it. As the song goes, “Promises, promises . . .” As Obama goes, a pledge isn’t worth the wind it’s written on.

All along, he admitted he was considering not extending the Bush tax cuts but voters never added 2 + 2 to arrive at the the sum of zero, which is the amount middle-classers will be saving when the Bush cuts expire at the end of 2010. . .

"Operation Can You Hear Us Now?"

“Operation Can You Hear Us Now?”

While most of us are sleeping in or shepherding the kids to soccer games or attending weddings or other festivities this Saturday, “Operation Can You Hear Us Now?” is on the case for America.

Fed up with the blackout of such events as the massive, peaceful, tax-protesting, conservative March on Washington on September 12th which was either ignored or trivialized by that media, “Operation Can You Hear Us Now?” has scheduled no less than 125 events for this Saturday, October 17th to drive home the point that we will NOT be further ignored or further trivialized.

A D.C. Tea Party

. . . September 12th will mark a different rally and march, a much different expression of our God-given and constitutional rights.

It will be a demonstration not of narrow demands but, essentially, of an American call to arms, not to literal weaponry but of people concerned over the future of our country. That future is being clouded and threatened by a radical administration bent on destroying all that this nation has ever been and all that we could be.

The lowlights:

. Agreeing to voluntarily cripple what’s left of our industrial base with the suicidal Cap and Trade agreement, in the interests of boosting the future of the Third World;. . .

Liar, Liar! Pants on Fire Part Two

The term, “The Big Lie” as an approach to political deception was coined by Adolph Hitler in Mein Kampf to describe the technique of telling a lie that was so huge that dumbass voters couldn’t help but believe it must be true. No one could possibly lie so stupendously and outrageously.

Most politicians dabble in lies big and small. Lying comes with their territory. However, President Obama has perfected lying and has especially perfected Hitler’s Big Lie philosophy.

One of Obama’s previous lie-biggies was explored in “Liar, Liar! Presidential Pants on Fire Part One: Obamacare,” http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=1145.

Amazingly, on the monumental issue of taxes on America’s middle class, he has outdone himself.

What a guy!

Lovable dolt Walter Mondale made the mistake of being honest in 1984 when he said he would have to raise taxes; he was roundly trounced by Ronald Reagan in the election. (I still love Wally’s subsequent and classic admission that he had wanted to run for president in the worst way, “And I did.”)

Presidential candidate George H. W. Bush later learned the hard way that the American people don’t take awfully kindly to a president who says one thing and does another.

Promising “No new taxes” in 1988, Bush I emphasized that pledge by adding the 3 words by which he will always be remembered: “Read my lips!” Suckered into believing Democrat pledges of reciprocal spending cuts and having to renege, he too was trounced, by the Man from Hope.

If nothing else, the Obama-Man from Chicago has learned his tax lessons well.

In conjunction with his compatriots and liars-in-arms, he has dredged up the Hitlerian Big Lie on such issues as universal health care and the timeless question of how to deceive and milk the massive middle class.

That group had to be milked to further support the many Obamian initiatives and stimuli designed to bail out his UAW idolators and ACORN and the ever-present poor. Obama knew all along that the deep pockets of the rich were only so deep.

Christ said that the poor will always be with us. He was referring to the sick, the lame, maybe the insane. I seriously doubt He was referring to the professional poor in today’s America, many of whom watch their hero on widescreen tv’s, buy their food with food stamps, and push their agenda via agitators.

Those same professional American “poor” . . .

Taxes, Taxes, Lots and Lots of Taxes

Taxes, Taxes, Lots and Lots of Taxes

It’s bad enough VP Joe Biden suffers from foot-in-mouth disease. Now it turns out he also is reading-challenged.

The clown prince of the Obama administration almost daily reminds the electorate of how much better prepared and how much more articulate Sarah Palin would have been in the vice-presidency.

Still, he’s doing his assigned job for Obama by setting the stage for what most of us who voted McCain/Palin were anticipating from the get-go, namely an enormous increase in taxes and the breaking of yet another Obama vow not to increase taxes on anyone earning less than $250,000.

This president brags about how much he has accomplished in less than half a year but says little about his broken promises to the American people in that time.

Remember no jobs for lobbyists? Promise broken. Recall no earmarks? Promise broken. How about giving the citizenry a week to read legislation? Promise broken. Then there were ending politics as usual, bi-partisanship, transparency? All promises broken with nary a word of apology from the Obamassiah.

Biden was setting us up for the most humungous tax increase in the history of the republic when he babbled that Washington’s new geniuses “misread the economy.” Don’t blame us, dammit, everyone else did too! It’s all Bush’s fault.

The Heritage Foundation wonders whether they “misread” those 150,000 jobs last month as well since no one has seen hide nor hair of them: http://bit.ly/q6ikw
