Maxine Waters and OWS Mitigate Rape
The perverse, violent act of raping a girl or woman has always and rightly been considered a vile, reprehensible crime in civilized societies.
Many Muslim nations either condone rape or place such burdensome sharia restrictions on the victim that it’s not worth the effort of reporting, but that’s another story un-related to civilized societies.
Based on her blase’ attitude toward the crime of rape, as well as toward assault and thievery, Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters could very well be a closet Muslim as could the Occupy Wall Street crowd.
You may recall the 73 year old Mad Maxine, former chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus and representative of California’s 35th CD. She’s the staunch defender of looters whom she believes are simply “mamas trying to buy diapers” and riot as “the voice of the unheard” and who last August told conservatives where to go when she said, “The Tea Party can go straight to hell!”
Mad Max has a way with words, a toxic way but a way. Wanting Republicans to “walk the plank” may have been metaphorical but there is no mistaking her hell suggestion nor her 2005 comments on President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney: “The President is a liar. Dick Cheney, the chief architect of the Big Lie, is not only a liar, he is a thief.”
The representative of Rodney King’s hellish district has less emphatic views on rape and other ongoing criminal activities at OWS demonstrations which she dismissed with the comment, “that’s life and it happens.”
A fierce opponent of flag-waving though not greed, Waters was named on a list of corrupt congresspeople on various occasions and cited as congressional “Porker of the Month” in June, 2009 by Citizens Against Government Waste. Not unsurprisingly and much like President Barack Hussein Obama, she is an enthusiastic supportor of all things liberal. Both back the OWSers to the hilt even if, umm, stuff happens in their midst.
And a lot of stuff is happening during those protests, including muggings, robberies, overdoses, and sexual attacks on both men and women. . . (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=6011.)

It's Not Easy Being White Today
It's Not Easy Being White Today
In 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his justly-famous “I Have a Dream Speech” from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in which he spoke the inspirational words, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
Widely described as a defining moment in the Civil Rights movement, almost half a century later, America’s first (semi-) black president has re-defined that moment and has made a mockery of King’s speech and those words in the process.
Barack Hussein Obama capped off two and a half years of racially-applied justice, demonstrably black favoritism, and expressions of anti-white sentiments by issuing an executive order convolutely entitled, “Establishing a Coordinated Government-wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the Federal Workforce.”
The stated purpose of the order is “to promote the federal workplace as a model of equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion.”
As Kermit the Frog is wont to moan, “It’s not easy being green.” It’s also not easy being white in Barack Hussein Obama’s America. The Washington Times clarified the White House directive in an editorial: “Whites need not apply” when it comes to employment with the nation’s largest employer. (http://bit.ly/qzYpGM)
The Times elaborated by pointing out that the ”diversity the government is seeking is not diversity of ideas, outlooks or work experiences. In contemporary political parlance, ‘diversity’ refers primarily to the color of one’s skin and not the content of one’s character” as evidenced by details in the executive order. It incorporates such language as, the federal government “must create a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility and fairness to enable individuals to participate to their full potential.”
However, in a bald-faced effort to tilt the playing field, “the government will intensify programs that discriminate against white Americans by extending special privileges to everyone else.” Laughably, ”The order also says that ‘attaining a diverse, qualified workforce is one of the cornerstones of the merit-based civil service,’ ” while abandoning even the semblance of a fair meritocracy.
The executive order was issued in absentia by the president; he was busily conducting the nation’s business from afar in Martha’s Vineyard where he could escape some of the reaction and political brickbats. Nevertheless, it effectively negates the import and spirit of King’s 1963 speech as well as make the feds the nation’s prime agency of discrimination.
Our federal government–virtually the only employer hiring in D.C.–will now hire exclusively on the bases of “diversity and inclusion,” code for skin color, a factor King felt abhorrent. By presidential decree, their character content and qualifications be damned.
The government initiative is all the more startling, and ironic, in that it was announced during the same week a black congressional Democrat who holds office primarily because she is black went on an unholy rant against her (semi-) black, Democrat president. . .

Who Really Brought Down Freddy and Fannie?
Who Really Brought Down Freddie and Fannie?
The “Bush Did It” mantra employed over and over by Obama, his henchmen, henchwomen, and media apologists to defend the administration’s screw-ups and ineptitude got old long ago yet they continue to beat its rotting corpse.
One early favorite ploy was to hang the albatross of the economic near-collapse on that mantra, a near-collapse prevented only by the superhuman efforts and expertise of Treasury Secretary Timmy Geithner and grand poobah of the National Economic Council Larry Summers.
The rest of the Obama economic dream team and, of course, the Democratic Party, did their bits to help give us a 9.8% unemployment rate, bailouts, clunkers, and an astronomical national debt.
Way to go, guys!
Little if any effort has been made to officially ascertain the root causes of the fiscal chaos which started with Lehman Bros., Freddie Mac, and Fannie Mae.
ACORN’s filthy hands in pressuring America’s lending institutions to grant sub-prime mortgages, that euphemism for giving money to people to buy homes even if those people didn’t have a pot to pee in and were bound to default, was irrelevant: See “Obama’s ACORN . . .” http://bit.ly/bAXpT
Also irrelevant were Democrat Sen. Chris Dodd and Democrat Barney Frank using their influence to be awarded sweetheart mortgage bribes and massive contributions from Fred and Fan.
Then, like the mangy political dogs that they are, they covered up their dirt and exacerbated the problem, all in the name of making it easier for unqualified borrowers to borrow more: http://bit.ly/K2M2B.
Meanwhile, they blocked George “Bush Did Its’ ” efforts to clean up the huge mess Democrats had created.
Selective memories are the stock in trade of the Democratic Party but pictures and videos of congressional hearings don’t lie.
Take Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters. (Please!)
She gained national fame decades ago when she attributed Blacks’ motivations for looting stores during the Watts riots to a desire to take care of their kids. She claimed that all the looters were after were disposable diapers for their babies.
They carried loads of diapers under one arm as they struggled with VCRs and stereos under the other.
In a video from 2004, when Republicans still controlled the House and were demanding greater responsibility and more regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the always-entertaining Maxine declared there was no crisis and repeatedly praised the “outstanding leadership” of Franklin Raines.
(Incidentally, after being ousted by Fannie for incompentence, Raines found another job, as an economic advisor to Obama.)
At the same hearing:
. Democrat Rep. Gregory Meeks said he was “pissed off” at government regulators and regulations since there was absolutely no “need” for such intrusions;
. Democrat Rep. Lacy Clay declared the whole hearing centered on the “political lynching of Franklin Raines” and the non-crisis will have no effect on “the markets;”
. Democrat Rep. Artur Davis chimed in with . . .
