Considering Islam, Obamacare Ruling Is the Least of Our Problems

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts’ defection to the dark side on the issue of Obamacare was startling and incredibly disappointing.




Nevertheless, there are noteworthy positives associated with his decision to join the ranks of extreme Leftists on SCOTUS, one of whom should have recused herself had she possessed a shred of integrity, and opt to support a law that was foisted on the American people by the Democrat Party.



For one, Roberts’ vote demonstrated that an ardent conservative can sometimes stray from the consevative path, unlike liberals on the Court and elsewhere who would rather swallow their shoes than voice disagreements with leftist ideology.



For another, declaring Obamacare constitutional offered Mitt Romney the opportunity to gain millions of votes from the majority of Americans who believe the concept of British-style socialized medicine stinks.



For yet another, mandating Obamacare once again outed President Barack Hussein Obama as a liar since the 5-4 split decesion essentially imposes a huge tax increase, a tax the president has repeatedly and emphatically vowed would never happen.



In any event, when Obama is thrown out of office in November and Republicans sweep House and Senate races, Obamacare will be methodically dismantled. Only the good features of the Unaffordable Care Act, such as elimination of lifetime dollar limits on policies and elimination of co-pays for preventive care, will be retained.



More importantly, the entire brouhaha over Obamacare and unduly stressing over a SCOTUS ruling may be moot and a foolish disregard for geopolitical realities–the dire threat to the nation posed by Islam and Muslim extremists intent not on merely destroying America’s health care system but on destroying America itself.



Among the president’s many other flaws is his ignorant obliviousness of the fundamental evil that is Islam. And that evil is not confined to Muslim countries. It is speading rapidly to the West, to America’s shores, and even to our military.



Read the story of British journalist Natasha Smith who, last year, was ecstatic over the glorious, popular upheaval of the Arab Spring. This spring Ms. Smith came face to face with the true nature of Islam in Cairo’s Tahir Square.



She described her not unprecedented experience (remember CBS New’s Lara Logan?) after the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Corsi’s visit to Obama’s White House and his victory in Egypt’s presidential election.



Smith graphically wrote on her blog: “Men began to rip off my clothes. I was stripped naked. Their insatiable appetite to hurt me heightened. These men, hundreds of them, had turned from humans to animals.

Good News from North Carolina, Alabama, and Ukraine

“Good news” is a very subjective term.

Some people regard the slight uptick in Barack Hussein Obama’s job approval ratings as a positive, others perceive it as ominous for the next election. Some consider unfortunate Tuesday’s Pentagon announcement that troops returning from Iraq won’t be honored with parades as per custom at the end of a war, others applaud the decision since they don’t like wars or soldiers.

What’s good and what’s bad often depends on one’s perspective.

However, though there are inevitably those who can find dark clouds on bright, sunny days and evil in virtue, various developments over recent weeks must be interpreted as positive–unless you’re a Muslim, a leftist, a misanthrope, or a sorry combination of all three.

For example, few Americans would see an American corporation standing up for American values as a negative. Even fewer would consider a decrease in a state’s unemployment numbers as anything but a sign of improving times. Virtually no one would deny saving children from an ugly fate is an act of true Christian charity.

Earlier this month, the Mooresville, North Carolina-headquartered home improvement chain Lowes home met with widespread criticism for yanking its advertising dollars from TLC’s “All-American Muslim,” apparently feeling the show was not representative of Muslims in America or of Islamic beliefs in Sharia law.

Muslims and leftist Democrat politicians ripped Lowes’ decision as a “shameful” reaction to intolerant “fringe” agitators and organized a boycott of the chain as punishment and to force Lowes to alter its policy.

In a letter to the company, signed by Muslim congressman Keith Ellison and others, the pols accused Lowes of forgetting “what it means to be an American.”

It seems the company knows full well what being an American means and “All-American Muslim” didn’t fill the bill.

Lowes stuck to its guns and was rewarded with a “BUYcott” by like-minded shoppers who flocked to its stores. At the same time, Lowes proved to be in the advertising vanguard: Fellow advertisers bailed in droves and ratings for TLC’s distorted view of the true nature and character of Muslims plummeted.

One small step for Lowes. One giant leap for America.

Much to the chagrin of the Obama administration, more good news emanated from the very red state of Alabama, employment news that can be credited to the Yellowhammer State and not to Washington.

Late last summer, Alabama began implementation of immigration reforms necessitated by Obamians’ refusal to enforce national immigration law and despite the administration’s efforts to discourage and interfere with Alabama doing the fed job.

Accused of violating everything from civil rights–of illegal aliens–to inflicting untold suffering–on illegal aliens–to ignoring economics in favor of politics, Alabama was following Arizona’s lead by audaciously insisting that applicants for jobs, etc. prove they are legal residents of the country and state.

In addition to the threatened, dire legal consequences of such audacity, progressive pundits and agitators predicted economic catastrophe for Alabamans. To their disappointment, the state has posted employment gains which far surpassed national averages since the new immigration law went into effect.

According to a November 18th report, unemployment rates fell at a record pace in the state, from September’s 9.8% to October’s 9.3%, from 9.9% to 9% in Etowah County, from 8.8% to 8.1% in Marshall county, and from 11.6% to 10.6% in DeKalb county.

The cause of all that good news? That same catastrophic immigration law which made jobs available to citizens and legal aliens who, we have been told by progressives for years, would absolutely never take those jobs.

The State of Alabama isn’t crowing much over outing the feds and the left as fools and liars and telling the president to stick those numbers in his hat, but it should.

Finally, from the usually sparse good news department comes this tidbit from ABCNews.com, a network which is usually engaged in presenting the opposite, and covering for Barack Obama. (Ever see any ABC reference Obama gaffes like “57 states,” “corpsemen,” or Hawaii’s location in Asia?)

Some positive stories cry out for exposure, even on ABC, and the Kecia and Kris Cox’s story is one of them.

What’s wrong with American Muslims?

Nothing, according to Muslims and Democrat politicians who are incensed over Lowes pulling its ads from The Learning Channel’s new reality show, “All American Muslim.” Something, according to Lowes which makes money when people buy stuff at their home improvement stores but which felt advertising on”All American Muslim” was counterproductive to its interests.

There are also the questions as to what constitutes worthwhile “learning” and Muslim realities.

Lowes’ apt corporate motto is “Never Stop Improving” and this week it joined some 75 other advertisers in bailing on sponsoring the show. Some people, including those Democrat pols, attribute Lowes’ action to caving to prejudiced, conservative special interest groups, others including the travel website, Kayak.com, to the fact “the show sucked.”

In the interests of full disclosure, I’ve never seen an “All-American Muslim.” However, from what I’ve researched, it does suck and even more relevantly, the Muslims depicted are far from representative of American Muslims. TLC’s offering seems more an exercise in propagandistic political correctness than a serious effort at informational entertainment.

There’s a major difference between infotainment and infoganda.

Minnesota Democrat Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim to serve in Congress who staged a 24 hour hunger strike in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Sreet anarchists, also protested against Lowes saying, “Corporate America needs to take a stand against these anti-Muslim fringe groups and stand up for what is right because this is what it means to be an American.”

Joining Ellison in his righteous indignation were Detroit-area Democrats, the first Bangladeshi-American congressman, Hansen Hashim Clarke, John Dingell, and Gary Peters who expressed dismay over the Florida Family Association’s dismay over ”All-American Muslim.”

The good congressmen dutifully dispatched a letter to Lowes defending Muslims and their contributions to the nation, without delineating those contributions. They concluded their missive by saying, ”We implore you to reconsider your decision and live up to your corporate ideals of diversity and inclusion and the values of tolerance and acceptance that create the foundation of our nation.”

Anymore than Ellison explained how an American corporation refusing to advertise on a television show it felt distorted reality related in any way to “what it means to be an American,” the other congressmen failed to clarify how supporting intolerance is a building block of America’s foundation.

That aside, Ellison’s comment regarding alleged “Muslim anti-fringe groups” and “what it means to be an American” bears more scrutiny.

The Florida Family Association which organized a wildly-successful petition against TLC’s ”All-American Muslim” is a quarter century old organization dedicated to the betterment of life in America. Its mission statement, to “Educate people on what they can do to defend, protect and promote traditional, biblical values,” is hardly a “fringe” sentiment.

Toward that end, the FFA has campaigned against what it deems offensive television shows advocating aberrant lifestyles, smutty fare for children, pornography–as well as Islamic propaganda. The FFA is urging Florida Gov. Rick Scott to order an investigation into whether a Muslim woman’s death was due to suicide or to an all-too-common Islamic “honor killing.” . . . I don’t want to rip France too much since France did help in our Revolution and President Nicolas Sarkozy did step to the Libyan plate while Barry O. begged permission from the United Nations to do something, anything, about Moammar. Nevertheless, let’s face it, France’s glory days are long gone.

France should serve as an object lesson for America in how to surrender national identity, if not sovereignty, without firing a shot.

World War One began the death rattle of French pretensions to significance, World War Two and Vichy confirmed it, De Gaulle simply refused to accept it.

Ironically, France’s next election may see the populist President Sarkozy losing to either a Jewish socialist or to an extreme rightist, which is ironic because it doesn’t really matter who wins. The French Republic is on an irreversible course to becoming the French Islamic Republic as Muslims gradually undermine the country, institute enclaves of sharia law, and the French are, once again, rolling over and playing dead.

With at least 5% of its population Muslim and very fertile Muslims comprising almost 70% of new immigrants, France accelerated the process of national suicide for practical, economic reasons. They needed bodies to man their factories and staff other positions native Frenchmen felt were beneath their dignity. They invited Muslim immigrants to fill that need, and the immigrants obligingly complied.

Now, like guests who overextend their visits, they not only have full intentions of staying indefinitely but are making little effort to comply with house rules.

Sound familiar?

Sarkozy has made some indignant noises as to the Muslim threat to the national and European identity of France declaring that efforts at multiculturalism have been “a failure” insofar as its burgeoning, assimilation-rejecting Islamic population was concerned. Sarkozy was echoing similar warnings from Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron who unequivocably announced in the same context that “state multiculturalism is dead:” http://bit.ly/f7CxwY

Both Sarkozy and Cameron were attempting too late to stem an inexorable Islamic tide which they could only forestall at this juncture via restrictive immigration and social policies which have little likelihood of implementation due to Muslim resistance and probable rioting which would dwarf earlier experiences.

Sad to say, France, Britain and other European nations, notably Belgium and the Netherlands, deserve what they’re getting.

France, especially, long ago abnegated any claims to national or cultural integrity when it sold out its heritage for expediency . . .

We all just love surprises, no? Well, most people seem to even if I don’t although I have to admit some surprises can be entertaining.

For instance, it came as a total surprise that Muslim Sharia law can supersede the Constitution in America. At least that’s the case with Hillsborough Circuit Judge Richard Nielsen in Tampa, Florida.

Judge Nielsen was all verklempt over a lawsuit against a local mosque, the Islamic Education Center of Tampa so what else could he do but conclude, ”This case will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic Law” to determine whether the mosque followed Koranic law in a matter involving an Islamic scholar: http://bit.ly/gtALT4

The mosque attorney made more sense than the judge when he said, “The mosque believes wholeheartedly in the Koran and its teachings. They certainly follow Islamic law in connection with their spiritual endeavors. But with respect to secular endeavors, they believe Florida law should apply in Florida courts.”

Makes sense to me. I mean, Tampa isn’t London.

Equally surprising, and galling, was the decision by Eric Holder’s Department of Justice to deny justice in school bullying situations–an area of law for which we are still searching for federal constitutional authority–toward straight white people. President Obama and AG Holder have already, repeatedly, demonstrated an antipathy toward white Americans and now have furthered that discrimination by vowing to apply federal law selectively.

They will “enforce federal laws that protect students from discrimination and harassment at school because of their race, national origin, disability, religion, and sex, including harassment based on nonconformity with gender stereotypes.” http://bit.ly/dE2r6H

If you’re some poor, normal white kid being harrassed, pummeled, discriminated against, you’re SOL. If you’re black, yellow, Kenyan, Buddhist, gay, transgendered, the feds have your back.

For the uninitiated, all of us infidels, ”Halal (Arabic:حلال, ḥalāl; means lawful or legal) a term designating any object or an action which is permissible to use or engage in, according to Islamic law. It is the opposite of haraam. The term is used to designate food seen as permissible according to Islamic law (Sharia, الشريعة الإسلامية).” (Wikipedia)

Got that? Apparently they don’t in the formerly Great Britain where a classic food fight is in progress pitting Christians against Muslims. Like so many other Christian-Muslim battles, tugs of war, especially in the U.K., the Muslims are winning.

The terms ”Great” Britain and ”United” Kingdom are fast becoming anachronistic for many reasons, not the least of which is England’s huge influx of Muslims from all over the globe, Muslims who have since been flexing their Islamic muscles. The latest field of battle is the arena of halal-approved foods and if it’s true that we are what we eat, Brit infidels will soon be converting to the religion of Allah, not without some resistance, however.

“A Christian organization in Britain has launched a petition campaign aimed at defending the right of those who for religious, moral or other reasons do not want to eat meat slaughtered according to Islamic law (shari’a).”

The people at Operation Nehemiah, named after the son of Hakaliah and meaning “Yahweh comforts,” have been getting precious little comfort lately. They’re acting as if the U.K. is still a Christian country, a fantasy dispelled even by the Archbishop of Canterbury, and a free country, which is becoming more and more disputable. Still, the Nehemiahs maintain the quaint notion that infidel Brits should be entitled to eat what they want rather than eat what Muslims want them to eat.

The halal issue came to light in the most unlikely of British places, the House of Commons, when lawmakers discovered that, unbeknownst to them, they had been scarfing down halal poultry for an unknown period of time.

As Seinfeld might say, “Not that there’s anything wrong with that” since halal dietary laws are little different from kashrut or what we call Jewish kosher food. The sticking point, the sticky wicket, as Brits say, is that the chefs in the Commons’ eatery failed to inform their customers that they were the subjects of a P.C. movement as well as being the subjects of Her Majesty.

I’m about as sick of writing about mosques, Muslims, Sharia, Islam, Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf, and Muhammad as readers are sick of reading and hearing about them.

Yet to suspend attention to them at what might be the most critical juncture in America’s history is to surrender to those forces dedicated to the defeat and dismantling of America as we know it.

Symbolized by the Ground Zero Monster Mosque, Muslims and Islam, with Rauf acting as their commander, are intent on capitalizing on their victory of September 11th, 2001, defeating America in our decades-long war on terror, and subjugating Americans to the brutal strictures of Sharia law.

As I concluded Part One of this series, “Think it can’t happen here? September 11th, 2001 couldn’t happen here, but it did.” And it could be repeated.

As per usual, the Democrat Party has taken an almost united stance of support on the issue of Imam Rauf’s obsession with building his 15 story, $100,000,000 mosque-cultural center-gymnasium-restaurant-fun place massage parlor near the hallowed site of Ground Zero.

Unlike Christians’ lack of rights to erect a cathedral, a church, even a chapel in Mecca and Medina, Rauf has every constitutional right to build his mosque and no American has disputed that right. Having a right and doing what’s right are vastly different, however.

Joining with the Islamic Raufians, the formerly-reputable Democrat Party has ironically discovered deep within its bowels a renewed, long-lost concern for religiosity and religious freedom and the First Amendment.

Democrats have condemned those who oppose Rauf’s project as bigoted, racist, un-Americans for seeking to deny Rauf’s grand scheme to trumpet Islam’s triumph of nine years ago by building a garish monument to Islam’s greatest victory over the infidel Christians since Saladin captured Jerusalem in A.D. 1187. . .

Sharia law, or simply Sharia or, in Arabic, شريعة Šarīʿa, is a complex set of rules for Muslims transmitted by Allah. However, any comparisons to the Christian Bible would be tantamount to comparing our Bible to eternal truths within “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”

According to Wikipedia, “Muslims believe all Sharia is derived from two primary sources, the divine revelations set forth in the Qur’an, and the sayings and example set by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. . . [and subject to] the consensus of the religious scholars” and Islamic jurists who interpret Sharia.

“The imam [the position held by the Ground Zero monster-mosque-builder Feisel Abdul Rauf] has varying responsibilities depending on the interpretation of Sharia . . . leader of communal prayers, . . . scholar, religious leader or political leader. Sharia deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexuality, hygiene, diet, prayer, and fasting.”

In a nutshell, Sharia represents the words Muslims live by, necessarily updated to reflect the passage of fourteen hundred years since the holy Prophet Muhammad passed to his reward no doubt stll in the loving arms of his child bride Aisha, whom he took to his holy marital bed when she was all of eight years old and who was just one of his 13 wives and concubines.

Despite all the updating and interpretation over fourteen centuries, things really haven’t changed an awful lot for Muslims, and even less so for Muslim women.

Content: “I had thought it was simple.” Thus said the 20 year old brother of a 14 year old Afghani rape victim after he was arrested for using a razor blade to abort his sister’s baby.

The young girl had been raped by a construction worker and had the further misfortune of residing in an orthodox Islamic community where an illegitimate birth meant that she and her family would be treated like pariahs by their fellow Muslims. So her brother, Ali, took her to a cowshed and, as her mother helped restrain her, used the razor blade to slice open her womb. He removed the baby, buried it, then stitched up the wound with coarse string used to tie potato sacks. Ten days later, the girl was taken on a 30 mile donkey ride to a provincial hospital suffering from infection and later, to protect her from family and community members, was evacuated to Bagram Air Base where she remained in critical condition: http://www.cnsnews.com/public/content/article.aspx?RsrcID=41777.

Although such lurid and grotesque tales are not unheard of in Western, generally Christian societies, they rarely if ever result from religious motivations. More likely it is a jealous rival or a psychotic, wannabe mother who would perpetrate such acts. Sharia Law, based on the Koran or Qur’an, however, condones such measures to atone for the shame visited upon a family by the sin of being a rape victim.

The other side of the Koranic coin, the rapist’s side, is far more forgiving. The Koran mentions no specific punishment for rapists, the probable reason for their receiving light or no civil penalties, while the victim may receive a hundred lashes for causing the crime. The girls, if not stoned to death, are shunned by their fellow Muslims and their opportunities for a future marriage are nil.

Demonstrating a serious inconsistency, that same Koran denounces rape, except in the event of mitigating circumstances, namely the woman’s religion: The Koran encourages the rape of non-Muslim women, according to more than one source, including http://groups.google.com/group/soc.culture.australian/browse_thread/thread/74aa640b4928eaaa, which cites a number of verses to support that view.: “Koran clearly sanctions this. No Muslims can deny these verses. They are called “ma malakat aymanukum…. The Koran verses are: 23-6, 33-50, 33-52, 33-55, 70-30.”

That sanction and that crime against the Afghani girl and what they say about Muslim thought are interrelated with our wars in the Mideast.
