We Got Osama. Now What?
Last September, the Obama-Holder Justice Department threw hissyfits over Pastor Terry Jones’ planned “Burn a Koran Day,” contending it would be inflammatory and would inflame Muslim passions–puns intended–and put our Mideast troops and our nation at risk, as if our troops and nation were not already in peril.
Federal storm troopers were dispatched to Jones’ miniscule Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida to dissuade him from commemorating the ninth anniversary of 9/11 with a Koranic bonfire and he backed down. He backed right back up in March when he torched a copy of the Islamic “holy book” in front of a Dove crowd of 30 and thereby did indeed ignite an Afghani firestorm.
As noted in a previous article in this space, Kandaharian Muslims waited until after Friday prayers to demonstrate their displeasure with Pastor Jones since prayer always supersedes mayhem then ”murdered ten, wounded eighty-three, and beheaded two U.N. staffers all to make some points: Korans shouldn’t be burned, they hate America, they love the Taliban, and they can riot, kill, and be-head all they want because, well, just because. To emphasize their fury, they burned a school for Muslim girls since, of course, they couldn’t burn a boys’ school.”
Muslim mission accomplished although the nature of the mission is still unclear.
The question as of May 1, 2011 is, Whatever will they do to protest the killing of the Taliban’s philosophical leader and inspiration, the mass murdering, wealthy Saudi founder of al-Qaeda and instigator of 9/11, Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden (Arabic: أسامة بن محمد بن عوض بن لادن)? . . .

Sex, American and Muslim Style
Sex American and Muslim Style
Sex may be the most popular indoor sport in the Western World, but not so much in Muslim countries.
To clarify, that sport may simply be more public in America and Europe. Based on rates of procreation and the 1.2 billion or so Muslims in the world, adherents to the Koran seem to indulge even more than we do or, at least, care not a fig whether or not they make a baby every time they make whoopie, within Koranic constraints, of course.
Good benefactors of the Earth that we are, we’re more responsible in the procreation aspect of sexual activity even as we encourage “doing it.”
Indeed, we’re very keen on that responsibility, so keen that many of our high schools and middle schools teach safe sex and distribute free condoms to all takers no matter their ages so that the cultural and media encouragement don’t overwhelm rational discretion.
Rationality isn’t usually considered a major facet of teen thought yet that age group appears to be the prime focus of primetime media. Witness “Glee” and the countless other gleeful tv shows which feature and promote teenage sexual experimentation and practice.
They would include ABC’s “Family Channel” with its lineup of such shows as “Pretty Little Liars” and “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” In a single episode of the latter gem, ABC managed to incorporate 70 references to sex. Count them: http://bit.ly/eiILFN
On the other hand, Islamic television wouldn’t be caught dead televising such smut.
Muslims are taught they are superior to us infidels in all things. Mayhem, murder, and jihad are perfectly acceptable but sexual discretion and restraint are mandates, for half the population, according to the Koran. It requires intercourse at certain times and promises slews of virgins as rewards for good Muslim men but don’t talk about it–or televise it–at the risk of annoying Allah and losing your head, like adulterous Muslim women.
At the same time, strict Islamists require that females . . .

Afterthought: The Qur'an, aka the Koran
The Qur'an, aka the Koran
The Qur’an, the Koran, Islam’s holy book, has been much in the news of late in relation to everything from the Mideast, to the Monster Mosque, to Qur’an/Koran burnings by despicable Christians.
Those Christians shrug off Bible burnings and cross desecrations and murders of their fellow Christians by Islamists at the same time Islamists threaten to torch the universe over alleged disrespect for the holy Qur’an/Koran or the holy prophet, Muhammed, or Mohammed, or just plain Mo.
I guess that, like beauty, “holy” is in the mind of the beholder.
Mr. Andrew Beacham, a courageous American, defied Muslim threats against his First Amendment privileges by tearing pages from the Qur’an/Koran in front of the White House on the 9th anniversary of the Islamic attacks on America.
Beacham was selective in his burning in that he didn’t burn the Qur’an/Koran per se. That burning was the threat posed by Pastor Terry Jones of the First Church of the Gooey Death and Discount House of Worship who backed down after President Obama/AG Holder sent the FBI to “persuade” him, ala Tony Soprano, of the error of his ways.
Beacham chose relevant passages and pages from the Qur’an/Koran to conflagrate in the shadow of Barack Hussein Obama’s executive mansion. That selectivity could lead to allegations that the excerpts were taken out of context, except for the fact they weren’t.
In that same vein, I guess the Angel of Death, the Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele’s reports on his experimentations on Jews could be considered non-contextual.
The reader should judge for him or herself as to whether these Qur’an/Koran passages could be out of context. . .

Imam Rauf, Burning Q'urans, and 9/11
Imam Rauf, Burning Q'urans, and 9/11
With the ninth anniversary of the deadly, unprovoked, sneak attack by Muslims–in PC language, the attack by a small band of disaffected Islamic militants–fast approaching, the noxious vermin are crawling out of the woodwork to do what vermin do best, spread pestilence.
Imam Rauf and the Mosque: We’ve heard a great deal of late of the particular vermin that plan to crown the great Islamic victory of September 11th, 2001 by doing what Muslims are wont to do after great victories. Islam, Muslims, have traditionally emphasized their victories by erecting monuments, grand mosques, near or on the sites of those conquests.
Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf plans to follow that tradition and add an extra-special exclamation point to the Islamic victory of 9/11 by not only building his monster mosque in proximity to the sacred ground of Ground Zero but by planning to open it, no doubt with great fanfare, ten years to the day after that great Islamic victory.
If nothing else, we have to grant Rauf the twenty first century’s Outstanding Chutzpa Award, an award conferred in recognition of his temerity, sense of ironic timing, and gross insensitivity to the still-open wounds of the survivors of 9/11 and their loved ones.
For a self-designated, peace-making bridge between Islam and the West, Rauf is astoundingly impervious to all sense of reason on his mosque, which he has every legal right to build even though by building it he will be infuriating millions of Americans.
His failure to realize that is one possibility that may be circulating in the imam’s brain.
The other possibility . . .

Sharia, Part One: Muslim Women
Sharia, Part One: Muslim Women
Sharia law, or simply Sharia or, in Arabic, شريعة Šarīʿa, is a complex set of rules for Muslims transmitted by Allah. However, any comparisons to the Christian Bible would be tantamount to comparing our Bible to eternal truths within “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.”
According to Wikipedia, “Muslims believe all Sharia is derived from two primary sources, the divine revelations set forth in the Qur’an, and the sayings and example set by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. . . [and subject to] the consensus of the religious scholars” and Islamic jurists who interpret Sharia.
“The imam [the position held by the Ground Zero monster-mosque-builder Feisel Abdul Rauf] has varying responsibilities depending on the interpretation of Sharia . . . leader of communal prayers, . . . scholar, religious leader or political leader. Sharia deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexuality, hygiene, diet, prayer, and fasting.”
In a nutshell, Sharia represents the words Muslims live by, necessarily updated to reflect the passage of fourteen hundred years since the holy Prophet Muhammad passed to his reward no doubt stll in the loving arms of his child bride Aisha, whom he took to his holy marital bed when she was all of eight years old and who was just one of his 13 wives and concubines.
Despite all the updating and interpretation over fourteen centuries, things really haven’t changed an awful lot for Muslims, and even less so for Muslim women.
Nonie Darwash was one of those (Egyptian) Muslim women.
Now considered an Islamic apostate . . .

Obama's Islamic Video
An Obama-Islamic Video
When George W. Bush proclaimed during the 2000 presidential campaign that Jesus Christ was his “favorite philosopher,” he was roundly chastised by America’s left wingers for intruding religion into politics.
Bush would also as a matter of course end his speeches with, “May God continue to bless the United States,” another horrific violation of the leftist-inspired, false issue of separation of church and state.
All Thomas Jefferson meant when he wrote of a “wall of separation” in an 1802 letter was that this nation would and should never have an official state religion. We had escaped the state Church of England by our revolution and weren’t about to re-establish a national religion.
In the interests of full disclosure, I’m not a big fan of our current president, for sundry reasons, as regular visitors to this site would know. I have also questioned his religion.
I caught a lot of flak last year from friend and foe alike for suggesting the man wasn’t all he seemed. We all know appearances can be deceiving and Obama was always careful to present a pleasant facade.
In order to win the presidency, he had to appear non-threatening, a proverbial man of the people, open to all ideas, open to all races and religions.
With the aid and abettance of the MSM, he deftly skirted all negative issues and questionable associations with committed domestic terrorists such as his good buddy Bill Ayers and committed racist America-haters such as his pastor and moral compass, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Along the way in his campaign of deception and since his election, the gaffe-prone Obama has let slip though his opaque facade some very telling commentary, slipped probably when his trusty teleprompter wasn’t guiding his words. . .
