Fun and the Muslim Brotherhood

One of the “funnest,” as kids say, things about blogging is the “eejits,” as some Irish say, who crawl out of the woodwork in response to the blogs even when they’re not very funny.

I recently posted an article, “National Insecurity, Compliments of the CIA and ODNI,” which pointed out the failures of America’s national security failures, particularly the ineptitude of CIA Director Leon Panetta and James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence: http://tiny.cc/luqxg

Tangential to the gist of the article were references to the Muslim Brotherhood and its connection to Hamas, حماس Ḥamās, an acronym of حركة المقاومة الاسلامية Ḥarakat al-Muqāwamat al-Islāmiyyah, or “Islamic Resistance Movement,” a radical Palestinian Islamist political organization noted for its terroristic activities, rocket attacks against Israel, and use of such tactics as employing children as human shields and as soldiers.

Also tangential were comments on Hezbollah, حزب الله‎ ḥizbu-llāh(i), the “Party of God,” a paramilitary jihadist group dedicated to the same purposes as Hamas which favors suicide bombings and kidnapping to achieve its ends.

While not specifically defending either Hamas or Hezbollah, in a comment, “8monikal” took great exception to my negative tone toward the Muslim Brotherhood and to my linkage of the MB to both of those Islamic, terrorist barbarians. His/her verbatim comment–”8monikal” is undoubtedly a male since Islam frowns on females even going to the outhouse without permission no less commenting on blogs–follows in its entirety:

I’m about as sick of writing about mosques, Muslims, Sharia, Islam, Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf, and Muhammad as readers are sick of reading and hearing about them.

Yet to suspend attention to them at what might be the most critical juncture in America’s history is to surrender to those forces dedicated to the defeat and dismantling of America as we know it.

Symbolized by the Ground Zero Monster Mosque, Muslims and Islam, with Rauf acting as their commander, are intent on capitalizing on their victory of September 11th, 2001, defeating America in our decades-long war on terror, and subjugating Americans to the brutal strictures of Sharia law.

As I concluded Part One of this series, “Think it can’t happen here? September 11th, 2001 couldn’t happen here, but it did.” And it could be repeated.

As per usual, the Democrat Party has taken an almost united stance of support on the issue of Imam Rauf’s obsession with building his 15 story, $100,000,000 mosque-cultural center-gymnasium-restaurant-fun place massage parlor near the hallowed site of Ground Zero.

Unlike Christians’ lack of rights to erect a cathedral, a church, even a chapel in Mecca and Medina, Rauf has every constitutional right to build his mosque and no American has disputed that right. Having a right and doing what’s right are vastly different, however.

Joining with the Islamic Raufians, the formerly-reputable Democrat Party has ironically discovered deep within its bowels a renewed, long-lost concern for religiosity and religious freedom and the First Amendment.

Democrats have condemned those who oppose Rauf’s project as bigoted, racist, un-Americans for seeking to deny Rauf’s grand scheme to trumpet Islam’s triumph of nine years ago by building a garish monument to Islam’s greatest victory over the infidel Christians since Saladin captured Jerusalem in A.D. 1187. . .

Having the Obamians in charge of the America’s security is like a teacher appointing the wimpiest kid in a class full of rowdies to take names during the teacher’s brief absence. The kid will be lucky to escape with a bloody nose and a broken limb or two.

So will we.

When the boss man refuses to acknowledge that there’s a worldwide war in progress with Islamic jihadists pitted against Western civilization, with the United States designated as the epicenter for another Ground Zero, there’s not much hope for the good guys.

(Note to the Obamians: We are the good guys!)

To be fair, on Thursday, with his back up against the obvious, the president did finally say, “We are at war, we are at war against al Qaeda.” As CNS added, that was ”a departure from the administration’s move in 2009 to discontinue the phrase ‘Global War on Terrorism’ from U.S. policy:” http://bit.ly/8hKF39

So, the new policy simply materialized as a result of Umar Farouk Abdulmutellab’s flubbed Muslim present to Americans on Christmas Day, whereas Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan murdering 12 and wounding 30 at Fort Hood while screaming, “Alahu Akbar” is still untrelated to al Qaeda?

Pardon me, Mr. President, but that doesn’t make any sense and if it does in your mind, why didn’t you connect the Fort Hood dot with the NWA dot when you declared this war which has been going on for years?

Obama’s Insecure Last War Doctrine Part II

One of the great yogi-isms and far more perspicacious than “You can observe a lot by watching,” is Yogi’s classic, “It ain’t over ’til it’s over.” That should be obvious in baseball as well as in war.

Our supremely-confident president felt that America’s War on Terror was over with his ascendancy to his office, that is, if that war ever existed. Perhaps influenced by his Muslim roots, Obama doesn’t believe in any such thing as worldwide Islamic terrorism so how can we have a war against it?

This allegedly brilliant man could learn a great deal from the wisdom of the very uneducated Yogi Berra who might have appended another word for Obama to his quotation: ”It’s not over til it’s over, Dolt!”

And, don’t try to feed me the lie that “Obama just sent 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan so that proves he’s serious about battling terrorism!” Those troops, whose numbers suddenly grew to 40,000 according to some Democrat Party hack on Fox News Wednesday, are a charade.

At best, they will save some American lives but with Obama’s 2011 deadline for a political miracle in that sorry nation, the Taliban and al Qaeda are gleefully waiting until Obama’s troops come marching home so they can pick up where they left off in 2001.

These terrorists, as well as being a blood-thirsty lot, are a smart and patient lot.

Meanwhile, Commander-in-Chief Obama is failing to fight the most proximate last war, George W. Bush’s War on Terrorism launched on October 7th 2001 and amazingly concluded by Barack Hussein Obama in short order on January 20th, 2009.

Precisely what war, if any, . . .

Amid new allegations that the Obama administration is withholding “critical information” concerning the murders at Fort Hood, ranking Republican Pete Hoekstra is demanding the CIA and the FBI release full details on what he calls “a terrorism attack” at our military facility in Texas.

Why a congressman would have to insist the government inform the governed of such information is beyond me. It smacks of Whitewater–and whitewash: http://bit.ly/3W73Fk.

However, there’s much more about those murders.

Todd Huston on AmericanConservative.com outed something the Obama administration would very much like to keep under wraps, the connection between the alleged murderer, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, and the Obamians.

Handwriting on a wall is one thing, often equivalent to scrawled grafitti. Messages chiseled into a wall by a dedicated terrorist are something else again. . .

When George W. Bush proclaimed during the 2000 presidential campaign that Jesus Christ was his “favorite philosopher,” he was roundly chastised by America’s left wingers for intruding religion into politics.

Bush would also as a matter of course end his speeches with, “May God continue to bless the United States,” another horrific violation of the leftist-inspired, false issue of separation of church and state.

All Thomas Jefferson meant when he wrote of a “wall of separation” in an 1802 letter was that this nation would and should never have an official state religion. We had escaped the state Church of England by our revolution and weren’t about to re-establish a national religion.

In the interests of full disclosure, I’m not a big fan of our current president, for sundry reasons, as regular visitors to this site would know. I have also questioned his religion.

I caught a lot of flak last year from friend and foe alike for suggesting the man wasn’t all he seemed. We all know appearances can be deceiving and Obama was always careful to present a pleasant facade.

In order to win the presidency, he had to appear non-threatening, a proverbial man of the people, open to all ideas, open to all races and religions.

With the aid and abettance of the MSM, he deftly skirted all negative issues and questionable associations with committed domestic terrorists such as his good buddy Bill Ayers and committed racist America-haters such as his pastor and moral compass, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Along the way in his campaign of deception and since his election, the gaffe-prone Obama has let slip though his opaque facade some very telling commentary, slipped probably when his trusty teleprompter wasn’t guiding his words. . .

I suspect that I’m either totally nuts or a prophet in my own land. Either way, we all know that such prophets are usually consigned to the loony bin.

Cassandra, the hot daughter of Troy’s Priam and Hecuba, was no exception. She angered Apollo by rejecting his lusty advances so, in a fit, after giving her the gift of prophecy, he cursed her with the bane of prophecy without acceptance.

In other words, she would be able to see the future vividly; at the same time, her fellow Trojans would deem her a fruitcake and view her prophecies as lunacies. Then came the Trojan Horse which she anticipated and the rest is history.

I’m neither hot nor female nor endowed with special Appolonian or God-given gifts. I just think that America’s future is so obvious that only idiots and Democrats, if that’s not redundant, can’t see it.

Or, to be somewhat gracious, they refuse to accept it.

Although one day does not a trend make, in that article I referenced a slew of single-day headlines on DrudgeReport.com which, taken cumulatively, suggest the United States of America is under attack by Islamic terrorists even if those attacks had been thwarted.

(More difficult to thwart may be attacks from “within,” people and forces which will remain unidentified since identification here would provoke rabid charges of vile prejudice. In any event, it doesn’t require deep insight to discover what they share in common.)

Like cockroaches and other vermin, if jihadists are rooted out in a few venues, it’s as certain as God created maggots that probably many more are still luking in their ratholes.

If nothing else, terrorists are a patient and determined lot as evidenced by the years of planning leading up to September 11th, 2001.

In the “Is Drudge . . .” article, I also pointed out some of the profusion of contemporaneous evidence of social, political, and international events which signify growing sea changes in the philosophical thinking throughout America and the rest of Western civilization.

I barely scratched the surface in that regard.

So, what’s it all mean? Specifically and conclusively, it’s impossible to say.

Generally, it’s not a good thing.

That is, unless one accepts the disturbed notion that abandoning American and Western European touchstone values and traditions developed over centuries should be discarded, from national independence to accepted moral understandings of the value of human life, to de-valuing cherished principles, is a good thing.

Nations, societies, and peoples naturally evolve over time. If not, they fail to thrive and fail to survive. History has shown, repeatedly, that when nations, societies, and peoples evolve into amoral, subservient, and weak entities they also perish.

Cassandra’s Troy, Hellenic Greece, the Byzantine Empire, the Roman Empire, the Ottoman Empire and almost all great civilizations . . .

Is Drudge Hinting Another 9/11 Is Imminent?

“Imminent” can mean all sorts of things, like in the next few minutes, the next hour, the next day, next week but it always means pretty damned soon.

With this president’s abject and repetitive demonstrations of weakness, servitude, and remorse for America’s history, could another, or far worse, 9/11 be in the relatively immediate offing?

No one would dare attack a confident, powerful, and united nation.

Knowing that retribution would be timid or non-existent, even the most cowardly, most inept, and weakest of enemies would be encouraged to assault a country in disarray, confusion, and under domestic assault.

Such chaos furnishes an added dollop of motivation to extra-national terrorists, especially jihadists inspired by Allah.

Before terrorism in America devolved into an insignificant issue under the Obama administration, we used to hear about color-coded warning levels and “chatter,” i.e., heightened activity among potential Islamic enemies detected by elements of our national security agencies.

No more.

Instead today we hear not chatter but of overt activity, not through government channels but rather from independent news agencies such as DrudgeReport.com.
