On this, the day after the first anniversary of the untimely death of master terrorist and mass murderer Osama bin Laden, since we have seemingly escaped Islamic retaliation for that cleansing of the planet, Americans should all rejoice that we have our president.




By now, Osama’s sorry carcass has been consumed by ravenous fishes not very selective about what they eat and it seems altogether fitting and proper to honor the man most responsible for ridding the world of the vermin that once was bin Laden.



While the courageous men of SEAL Team Six may have technically pulled the triggers at the vermin’s slummy compound in beautiful, downtown Abbottabad, every reasonable person knows in their heart of hearts that President Barack Hussein Obama deserves the credit.



Accordingly, for the reader’s listening and viewing pleasure, I am reprising Paul Shanklin’s memorable rendition of “The Man Who Shot Osama bin Laden,” which was first heard on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show last May.



The song had been removed by YouTube due to alleged “copyright infringements” but, thanks to my tireless searching and in the interests of providing a public service, I have been able to retrieve it. WARNING: The presentation is replete with graphic graphics showing the deceased bin Laden in all his inglorious, dead splendor.




False rumors have been circulating that our heroic leader was somewhat less of a hero and failed to provide any leadership at all during the tense hours leading up to his finest foreign policy achievement. They are all poppycock!



Americans should disregard as meaningless multiple reports that our president was so upset over the prospect of killing another human being a year ago that he retreated from the White House Situation Room, went to bed, and left the momentous decision to either then-CIA Director Leon Panetta or Special Ops Admiral William McRaven. . .

After the FOX News Channel, Rush Limbaugh has been the most potent voice of conservatism in America for a generation, a virtual dagger in the sides of liberals who, until the advent of FOX and the growth and popularity of talk radio, had enjoyed a decades-long monopoly on what and how news was reported and whose opinions would be heard by the public.

FOX has long been in the liberal crosshairs as has Limbaugh but, most recently, Rush has been the liberal target of choice since they believe they could more easily take down and destroy an individual than a billion dollar cable network.

As with the lib campaign to discredit Glenn Beck, who completely recovered after a concerted effort by Media Matters for America, George Soros’ MoveOn.org, and other left wing organizations to silence him, they have failed miserably in their quest to destroy Limbaugh by targeting his advertisers.

The Washington Post’s Paul Farhi admitted that the claim that over a hundred advertisers had dumped Limbaugh was a fraud and he conceded the defeat of the left’s six week boycott on those advertisers even if they haven’t yet given up the fight.

The end result of the battle? Rush lost 2 small market stations of the 600 total that carry his show and 5 advertisers, some of which have tried to return and have been told where to go, and it isn’t to Rush.

Politico.com gleefully and triumphantly posted a report that sponsors are bailing out in droves on conservative icon Rush Limbaugh’s nationally syndicated radio show in a kneejerk reaction to the predictable, leftist reaction to the Great Slut Controversy regarding liberal activist, Sandra Fluke.

Yesterday, Politico gleefully listed the following bailers: AccuQuote Life Insurance, Allstate Insurance, AOL, Bare Escentuals, Bethesda Sedation Dentistry, Bonobos, Carbonite, Cascades Dental, Citrix, Girl Scouts, Goodwill Industries, Hadeed Carpet, JCPenney, Legal Zoom, Matrix Direct, Philadelphia Orchestra, PolyCom, ProFlowers, Quicken Loans, Reputation Rhino, Sears, Sensa, Service Magic, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Tax Resolution, Thompson Creek Windows and Vitacost.

I can’t vouch for Politico’s accuracy since that website has been in President Barack Hussein Obama’s vest pocket for years. The whole slut controversy has been concocted to destroy Limbaugh and to absurdly paint conservatives as anti-woman to lock up their votes for Obama in November.

As with every conservative I know, I love the fair sex.

No stranger to controversy, conservative talk radio commentator Rush Limbaugh stirred up a wasp’s nest last week when he concluded Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke had to be a slut and a prostitute.

More specifically, he said, “What does it say about the college co-ed Susan Fluke [sic] who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex–what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute.” Limbaugh added, ”She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.”

On Saturday, without retracting the reasons for his rant, Limbaugh apologized to Ms. Fluke on his website for his “insulting word choices.”

He needn’t have.

The derogatory term “slut” refers to a sexually-promiscuous woman, “prostitute” to someone who accepts payment for sex acts. As injudicious and inflammatory as his words were, Limbaugh was correct since, by definition, Sandra Fluke fits the definitions.

Republican Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum characterized Limbaugh as “absurd,” House Speaker Boehner termed his language ”inappropriate,” and President Barack Hussein Obama called Ms. Fluke with some encouraging words.

In what was the most outrageous defense, Jesuit Georgetown University President John DeGioa praised her: “She was respectful, sincere, and spoke with conviction. She provided a model of civil discourse. This expression of conscience was in the tradition of the deepest values we share as a people.”

What Jesuitical BS!

On the other side of the controversy, Bill O’Reilly also criticized Ms. Fluke for wanting taxpayers to pay her for her hyperactive sexual activities, Michelle Malkin called her a radical feminist tool, and Eric Bolling said, “She seems like a plant.”

Rep. Darryl Issa precipitated the Fluke controversy when he refused to allow her to testify at last month’s hearings on religious liberty and the constitutionality of Obama’s mandate that church-related institutions bury their collective consciences by providing free insurance coverage for women seeking sterilization, abortafacient drugs, and contraceptives.

Obama’s “compromise,” shifting the burden of providing “free” birth control to those institutions’ insurance companies, simply meant religious institutions would pay indirectly through increased premiums for what they regard as morally-objectionable procedures.

Issa’s decision that Ms. Fluke was unqualified to testify in a matter involving the Constitution and religious rights was totally valid.

Nevertheless, ignoring constitutional issues, Democrats used Ms. Fluke as a tool to cover Obama’s infringement on religious liberty and promptly provided her with a forum to espouse her point of view.

The next day she appeared on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” where she told Ed Schultz that the outpouring of support ”really has meant a lot to me. And I think to women across America . . . I don’t really see why anyone would not condemn this type of language.”

She said she would testify in the future if asked and, with a blinding sense of altruism, promised, “I think what I’m going to be doing from here on out is just continuing to do what I have been, sharing the stories of the women who contact me and really trying to make sure that their voices are being heard. . . ” (Read more at http://www.genelalor.com/blog1/?p=15503.)

Demonstrating to the world one mo’ time that he is not a Muslim but rather a devout Christian, Obama and family joined the flock at the predominantly black Shiloh Baptist Church in Northwest Washington for Easter morning services.

His attendance at Shiloh was something of a surprise since he hadn’t bothered to issue an Easter proclamation. He may have felt he had that base covered in view of the White House prayer breakfast he hosted last Tuesday although he had made certain to issue proclamations in recognition of Earth Day, Hannukah, and every major Muslim religious holiday including Ramadan, Eid-al-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-al-Adha.

Oh, well, he did permit a White House Easter egg roll which must count for something. Christians have learned to thank God for small blessings from this Christian president.

Unfortunately, the service at Shiloh wasn’t filmed or recorded, unfortunate because Shiloh’s pastor, Wallace Smith, is a racial agitator and it would have been informative to hear his Easter sermon.

Although the 59 year old Rush-man hasn’t (yet) approached Larry King’s (Lawrence Harvey Zeiger’s) eight weddings, he has been wed four times, the last time to 33 year old Kathryn Elizabeth Rogers at the ultimate classy venue, The Breakers in June of this year.

Black minister Dr. Kenneth L. Hutcherson, Founder and Senior Pastor of Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, Washington, presided and homosexual entertainer Elton John entertained at the festivities that followed. I mention Hutcherson’s race and John’s sexual proclivities simply because Mr. Limbaugh has often been accused of both racism and homophobia. . .

Rush Limbaugh is an angry man today. He’s an unhappy man as well. He’s also a fearful man.

What happened in the peoples’ house Sunday night, in the House of Representatives of the United States of Ameerica, wasn’t the mere passage of a bill, an appropriations bill or a civil rights or defense bill. What passed with a narrow Democrat victory margin of 219-212 won’t just hit you in the wallet, won’t be one of those hundreds of measures that have little or no effect on the average Joe or Jane.

It won’t become a law anyone will soon forget.

No matter one’s opinion of Limbaugh, (mine is that he’s a bombastic blowhard, but OUR bombastic blowhard), his views on the passage of Obamacare are well worth consideration no matter where you stood on the issue, or stand on the issue since the president’s scheme will not be a done deal even after he signs it into law.

Limbaugh’s points on what transpired Sunday night in Washington are cogent as well as angry, unhappy, and fearful:

1) He believes “America Hangs by a Thread” after the Obamacare bill squeaked through and that our country is in this position because of the election of Barack Obama and a Democrat congress.

Early this morning, Wikipedia posted a premature and presumptuous obituary:

“Rush Hudson Limbaugh III (pronounced /ˈlɪmbɔː/;born January 12, 1951, died died December 30, 2009) is an American radio host and conservative political commentator. He is the host of The Rush Limbaugh Show, the highest-rated talk-radio program in the United States. It airs throughout the U.S. on Premiere Radio.”

That product of wishful thinking on the part of the editors of the free online encyclopedia, which has a distinct liberal slant in its approach to information, was not atypical of leftist sentiment.

At this point in accord with privacy laws, little is known about Limbaugh’s condition aside from his being rushed to a Honolulu hospital with chest pains and assurances on his website that he’s resting comfortably and is appreciative of the prayers of his millions of fans.

Most people, even some of his detractors, are wishing him well.

Most people.

Those akin to black comedienne Wanda Sykes who tickled Barack Obama’s fancy with her riotously sick “joke” back in May haven’t been quite as gracious. . . .

Rush Offends Gays! Gasp!

I’ve often said Rush Limbaugh is a bombastic, egotistical, hypocritical, disputatious blowhard. However, he’s our very conservative bombastic, egotistical, hypocritical, disputatious blowhard, and he happens to be correct virtually always in his arguments.

His negative traits may detract from Rush’s overall persona but they have no bearing on his facts and presentation of what he calls “essential truths” and are unrelated to his credibility and accuracy.

For example, as an intermittent but regular listener for 20+ years to the thrice-married Limbaugh, I have never heard him defend or deny his multi-marriages nor to badmouth his exes in any way.

In fact, he speaks very kindly of the fair gender. Whatever his difficulties with maintaining a stable marital union are beyond my ken, and beyond my interest. His prodigious ego or his various wives’ ambitions may be major factors, but what do I know?

He would be grossly hypocritical should he express support for the sanctity of marriage, which he doesn’t, even if he cannot be lauded as a paragon of marital fidelity.

His negative commentaries on gay marriages, however, though attacked by homosexuals as hypocrisy, are entirely within the realm of fair game since gay marriage is such an obvious transgression of natural law, and of common sense.

By far the favorite whipping boy of the Left, Limbaugh is under attack once again, this time for an off-hand yuk about our homosexual brethren.

In reaction to glibly-gay Rep. Barney Frank’s sarcastic response to a town haller questioner asking, “On what planet do you spend most of your time?” Rush punned that, ”Isn’t it an established fact that Barney Frank himself spends most of his time living around Uranus?”

I thought it was a pretty funny, and true, retort by Limbaugh.

As for poking fun at Rep. Frank, I’m sure Barney has been poked before, so he should be used to it. Gays, however, were offended by the joke for some reason.

Tsk, tsk.
