Homosexuals and their supporters are nothing if not indefatigable, and devious. Since Obama became president, they’ve grown even more relentless in their pursuit of acceptance by the straight world and they’re succeeding by virtual gazelle leaps.

With the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Act killed by the the lame duck Democrat Congress last session–and the Defense of Marriage Act in its death throes by executive fiat–implementation of the military’s new policy of tolerance of homosexual behavior has begun, starting with indoctrinating commanding officers and working its way down to the grunts.

Even the Marine Corps, whose commandant had voiced strong opposition to repealing DADT, has caved. Bible-believing chaplains are bearing the brunt of the responsibility of explaining why the government is right and the Bible is wrong. Gay Marines hugging and kissing will now be considered as acceptable and “appropriate:” http://bit.ly/hqSOuc

The appropriateness of other homosexual practices and whether engaging in them during combat has yet to be addressed.

With their right to subvert the military now ensured, homosexuals are now able to focus on their primary interest, converting the young to believing that the gay lifestyle is nothing more or less than a variation on the norm, if not more normal than normal.

They’ve learned Communism’s lesson well, to get them while they’re young.

Of late, in order to end run around increasing awareness of their aims, they’ve also learned to cloak their schemes with the mantle of school lessons in health to get kids attuned to sexual body parts and to attune them early. After all, sexualizing kids young is advantageous when you later try to pervert their sexuality.

The annual student indoctrination has resumed in the hottest bed of homosexuality in the land, the State of Massachusetts, which just launched what one Bay State mother calls its “wrong rite of spring.” It features kindergarteners learning anatomy and essential vocabulary and “a list words that included not only penis and vagina, but also scrotum and vulva!”

Wait, you say, sick, yes, but what’s so gay about all that? . . .

It’s easy this time of year to get overly involved with shopping, buying, and spending. Those inclinations aren’t unique to Americans or to Christians or to twenty-first centurians.

Two hundred years ago, William Wordsworth railed against acquisitiveness in his poem, “The World Is Too Much with Us,” when he wrote, “The world is too much with us; late and soon,/ Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers;/ Little we see in Nature that is ours;/ We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!”

Leaving aside wasted powers and sordid boons, many Americans still do get and spend too much even in these recessionary times. Recession or no, credit cards or no, promises and commitments to cut back or no, during the Christmas-holiday season most of us tend to over-do, over-spend, over-indebt ourselves to Visa, Master Card, to whatever.

None of that is a good thing any more than it was back in the nineteenth century when Wordsworth was railing against “getting and spending” in a different context.

Americans’ context in A.D. 2010 is, as always, our friends, family, and, yes, ourselves, which is all very normal.

Equally “normal” during this upcoming festive season is to “share the wealth,” not that mandated sharing envisioned by our president but a true, grass roots sharing in which we, first, insure that family will be provided for but not over-indulged and then, if there is any surplus in the bank account, share with the less prosperous, particularly with the kids in America who may have drawn the wrong life card and who face a bleak festive season.

One terrific way to share the bounty, to give what we can afford or a little more than we can afford to make a child’s Christmas morning less bleak, is to cough up a few bucks or a toy to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Their website, http://www.toysfortots.org/, gives toy drop-off sites as well as monetary donation sites.

It’s easy to say, “Merry Christmas” to people. It’s only a little more difficult to help make a Christmas a little bit merrier to some kid.

I believe that homosexuality is a perversion of nature and that practicing homosexuals pervert the timeless principles of Natural Law.

I believe the ongoing drive of the homosexual lobby and especially the effort to seduce children into its sick web of degradation should be stopped at all costs.

I believe homosexual attacks, physical, intellectual, and moral, on American individuals, society and institutions should and must be recognized and prosecuted where possible.

That said, I believe the actions of the Westboro Baptist Congregation are obscene and repulsive and virtually as perverted as homosexuality.

The Westboro congregation is as far removed from Christian aims and principles as the most vile organizations in the country.

Wrapped in the flag, Westboro fanatics traverse the country to stage demonstrations at the funerals of fallen soldiers to protest against homosexuals in the armed forces. . .

Happy Fourth of July!

(The following was received as an email, with photos added. Please feel free to forward this to as many patriotic Americans as would appreciate it.

Yes, parts of it may be considered hokey in our super-sophisticated, blase’, modern society but all of it is true, sincere, and thoughtful.

We are living through very trying times, times that literally “try men’s souls,” times that once again threaten our liberties and endanger our hard-fought freedoms, times that many are predicting will mark the end of the American Era on the world stage.

I contend that, despite the seriousness of both ominous domestic and foreign threats and dangers, we will ultimately prevail, not succumb, and not be defeated–as long as we retain our God-given, indomitable American spirit and sense of destiny and confidence in this nation’s future.

And what better way to re-assert that confidence than by joyously celebrating our nation’s birth date? We may have a month to go before the anniversary of July 4th,1776 but it’s never too early to celebrate our freedoms and to thank those responsible for preserving those freedoms and our still-intact American independence.)
