Proof that Educated, Classless People Can Become President
Unfortunately, the Constitution doesn’t stipulate that a president has to give a damn for and understand his country, be honest with voters, or have more class than an Occupy Wall Streeter.
College and law school grad, Chicago community organizer, absentee Illinois state senator, constitutional scholar, brief United States senator, current commander-in-chief of our armed forces, and leader of the Free World, Barack Hussein Obama, is devoid of any of those attributes.
He has been acclaimed as the most brilliant chief executive to ever establish residence in the White House despite the fact he is frequently reduced to a gaffe-prone, inarticulate gasbag when his trusty teleprompters aren’t around and he considers it panache to discuss dog droppings.
Go figure.
President George W. Bush was also known to put his foot in his mouth and his “Bushisms” are still lame comic fodder for Leno and Letterman but Bush’s gaffes don’t compare with Obama’s.
Leno, Letterman, and their liberal coterie dare not ridicule The Anointed One, the man Michelle Malkin aptly labeled “the Gaffe Machine” and whose mainstream media customarily ignores or soon buries Obama’s factual mistakes, dumb solecisms, and expressions of outright ignorance.
The president’s frequent excursions into foolery and foolishness have often been documented here and in the rest of the conservative blogosphere even if the MSM pretends they never happened.
There is no need to elaborate on Obama’s 57 states, his reference to “corpsemen,” his inability to speak Austrian, his confusing Jews with janitors and living versus dead Medal of Honors winners, his “intellectual stammering,” or the whole host of his other foul-ups.
They have become the stuff of legend, legendary gaffery which future liberal historians will someday discover and dismiss as vile, misleading partisan claptrap just as Mrs. Obama has dismissed the unflattering revelations of Jodi Kantor in The Obamas.
Two new examples of “misleading partisan claptrap” have recently emerged.
Neither is of monumental significance in the greater scheme of presidential politics although both provide great insight into our beloved leader.
One reveals a heretofore-unknown and shocking facet of Barack Obama’s life, the other displays what most Obamian critics have long known–that he sorely lacks both discretion and class.
The American public has been misled as to the extent of the Obama family. . .

Obama's Latest Gaffe: Jews and Janitors
Obama's Latest Gaffe: Jews and Janitors
There’s long been more than a sneaking suspicion that President Barack Hussein Obama is a dyed-in-the-wool anti-Semite although there’s no doubt he is more prone to gaffes than even George W. Bush. His closet anti-Semitism may have met his “gaffery” over the weekend at the Congressional Black Caucus awards in Washington.
Quickly scrubbed from the official transcript of Obama’s speech advocating class warfare–technically, he was addressing what he called a growing disparity of wealth in the United States–the president mixed up Jews and janitors before he realized his Freudian slip but he had already been caught by the tale of the (video)tape.
I guess it’s easy to confuse the two. After all, both words begin with a “J.”
Not that much of the mainstream media will make mention of Obama’s “Jews janitors” flub; they’re still more interested in Bush gaffes.
The Jewish vote is, of course, critical to his re-election, not as critical as the black, union, and homosexual votes but very significant nonetheless. He needs money from all of them to hit his goal of a billion dollar campaign chest.
Blacks, unionists, and gays are guaranteed supporters but those Jewish backers have been slip, slip, slipping away in view of the administration’s policies on the Mideast and his kowtowing to Arab potentates and catering to Muslim interests at home. The last thing he needed at this point was to demean Jews but he did so anyway, assuming that confusing Jews with janitors is demeaning.
In Obama’s talk to the CBC, he was in the middle of another rant against the rich when he blurted out, “If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a Jew uhh as a janitor . . .

Defrocking the Obamessiah
Defrocking the Obamessiah
While it’s true that “to err is human, to forgive divine,” it’s still shocking, I tell you, when our president admits to making mistakes.
After all, he was sold to the American people as someone different from other pols, a man who not only looked different but thought and acted on a higher plane, a flawless man cast by the media as a virtual messiah who would save us from the evils of George W. Bush, who could do no wrong, who had an unparalleled vision of America’s future.
We have now seen that vision and it is more akin to a nightmare.
Now, I don’t suggest that making errors is grounds for impeachment or anything of the sort. Obama’s impeachable offenses may never come to light. What I am implying relates to the mighty falling, the collapse of an icon. With his flimsy resume’, virtually nothing was known about the man so his handlers were free to create an unreal figure who stood–soared–above the fray, whose mellifluous words captivated millions, whose vague “vision thing” enthralled and bewitched the rabble.
The president’s less-than-divine gaffes and errors, everything from his claim to have visited all 57 states, to his nomination of a tax cheat, Tom Daschle, as HHS Secretary, to picking Bill Richardson as Commerce Secretary, to his closed-door meetings on Obamacare, to the BP Gulf oil spill, to the Cambridge cop debacle, to closing GITMO, etc. have all been fully documented.
His latest confession of error is noteworthy not because of the admission itself or because he made a mistake. We all make mistakes, even presidents, even, as we have seen over the past 27 months, presidents on pedestals. His concession of an error made five years ago when, in one of his first votes as junior senator from Illinois, he voted against raising the national debt ceiling is less significant than his reasons for that vote. . .

Obamacare Unconstitutional! The Gaffe Machine Gets His Comeuppance
Obamacare Unconstitutional! The Gaffe Machine Gets His Comeuppance
Now that Senior Federal Judge Clyde Roger Vinson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida has thrown out as unconstitutional Obama’s historic gaffe, the Patient Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, less than affectionately known as Obamacare, it may be time to review what Michelle Malkin calls “The Gaffe Machine.”
Preliminary reports as of noon EST, January 31, 2011 are that Judge Vinson ”ruled the individual mandate that requires all Americans to purchase health insurance invalid and, according to the decision, ‘because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire Act must be declared void:’ “http://tiny.cc/goo4l
That determination comes as no surprise to many observers, lawyers and non-lawyers alike, who knew from the outset that Obamacare was both an abominable and unconstitutional federal power grab. However, Democrats rushed for passage of the 2309 page bill, were so hell-bent on ramming the monstrosity down the throats of Americans, were so busy that no one bothered even to read it before voting on it. Too bad. The nation and the president might have been spared the debacle that is the PPPACA.
It will be difficult for Obama to sluff off the significance of Vinson’s ruling and impossible for his mainstream media to provide its usual cover with this president’s mistakes and misstatements. All his previous screwups pale by comparison with the monumental gaffe of Obamacare which should be hung around his neck like a dead albatross, the ultimate symbol of a failed presidency.
It’s not so much that President makes mistakes, uses solecisms, and just says stupid things, such as confusing Iraq with Afghanistan the other day. We all make mistakes. It’s that they have either been totally ignored by most of his mainstream media or, if mentioned at all when they somehow become public knowledge, were quickly buried and forgotten as if they never happened or were never spoken.
That same MSM seems to possess a preternatural ability to publicize, retain, and enshrine in its archives to be dredged up on command any slip by Republicans such as George W. Bush or, more lately, by Sarah Palin, but they have done Barack Hussein Obama a major disservice: They made him think and believe his pre-and post-election press, that he was flawless, that he was a modern messiah, that he could virtually walk on water, was real and true.
Had the MSM humanized him, . . .

Say It Ain't So, Joe Biden!
Say It Ain’t So, Joe Biden!
There’s been an ugly rumor floating around Washington for a while now, namely that Vice President Joe Biden is a drunk.
Not to make light of the serious disease that is alcoholism but, if true, it would explain quite a bit about his antics and gaffes during last year’s campaign and since he assumed the vice presidency in January.
Of course his boss, Barack Obama, is D.C.’s resident Gaffe King. That’s not a result of being tipsy but because he’s just Obama.
He is so reliant on his crutch, Mr. Teleprompter, that without it he tends to say stupid things such as claiming he had campaigned “in all 57 states” and being unable to speculate on the moment of conception because it “was above my pay grade.”
Post-election his most famous, and insensitive, goof was ridiculing Special Olympians on Leno.
Not that any of the gaffe twins’ numerous examples of foot-in-mouth disease get any significant play in the mass media, except for the Leno remark which was made on national television.
If covered at all, their flubs and screw ups are soon buried, never to see the light of publicity again, whereas George Bush’s numerous misspeaks still are prime fodder.
Biden is no slacker in the blooper department, either.
Don’t expect to see them on NBC, CNN, et al., but two videos featuring good ol’ Joe have come to light which give credence to his having an issue with “the drink,” as his Irish ancestors would say.
They offer explanation for his often rambling dissertations, solecisms, flubs, and outright improprieties.
The first Biden video, . . .
