President Dances the Hesitation Waltz
As more and more details are revealed, clarified, and denied concerning the Navy SEALs’ take-down of Osama bin Laden, it’s becoming vividly clear that America’s Commander-in-Chief is not all he pretends to be and nowhere near all he thinks he is. Obama’s refusal today to release any pictures or videos of the operation only serves to underscore this president’s ambivalence and indecisiveness.
His Sunday night announcement that agents of America’s Special Ops had finally located and killed OBL provided carefully-scripted appearances that President Barack Hussein Obama was the man in charge from the bloody start to the watery finish. Despite his self-congratulatory words and his repetitive usage of the pronoun “I,” it turns out that not only did Obama not make the call to assault bin Laden’s Abbotabad compound but in fact he was overruled, in effect a figurehead.
As usual with this president, things are not always what they appear to be or how he wants us to believe they are, not even close.
The sensitive mission was a go until Obama decided to go to bed rather than make the final call. As Britain’s Daily Mail, which is not a member of Obama’s state-controlled media, reports, ”The president stunned officials when he told a national security meeting that he wanted more time to think–and disappeared out of the room.” The Mail cites the New York Times in adding that Obama said, “I’m not going to tell you what my decision is now–I’m going to go back and think about it some more. In other words, Scarlet O’Hara Obama hadn’t the slightest notion . . .

Maybe Obama Really Isn't Black Enough?
Time Magazine and the LA Times, among others, posed the daunting question in February 2007, long before the junior senator from Illinois tossed his hat into the presidential ring, “Is Obama Black Enough?” The Time article concluded with the puzzling observation that “Barack Obama’s real problem isn’t that he’s too white–it’s that he’s too black.”
Granted, the biracial Obama wasn’t as black as 50 Cent or Chris Rock but so what? Too black, too white, whatever.
The questions Time and others should have been asking were, Why in God’s holy name was this guy, Barack Hussein Obama, even being considered as “presidential material” after barely a year on the national stage? Why was a woefully inexperienced and untested individual being lionized by the MSM and touted as a possible nominee for the Democrat Party’s next entry into the presidential sweepstakes?
And, the most obvious unasked question of all, Was Obama in fact being considered precisely because he was (partially) black and because he represented the best shot people of color had to win the presidency? Did his fans view his election as a way to finally and definitively expiate their nagging white guilt?
If Obama were to be nominated simply because of the color of his skin and not the content of his character, his qualifications and suitability for the presidency of the United States, wouldn’t that be racist in Martin Luther King Jr.’s lexicon?
The very reverend Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would later question Obama’s black identity and credentials but at least Joe Biden accepted him for what he was, even if he was the “first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
Wouldn’t it also be racist and blatantly discriminatory to favor any particular group or groups for special treatment because of their color? . . .

Sarah Palin’s great remark at the Republican National Convention that the only difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom was lipstick was funnier than then-candidate Barack Obama’s subsequent rejoinder that, “You can put lipstick on a pig. It’s still a pig.”
Whether Obama’s comment was a bitch slap at Palin has been debated ever since. If it was, he obviously hadn’t seen the then-governor of Alaska upclose.
Regardless, most pigs are generally funnier–and uglier and smellier–than most dogs even if Democrats try to gussy them up with various shades of lipstick.
One such effort was the try by Obama’s vaunted Senior Advisor and officially Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, Valerie Jarrett, to diss the prevailing wisdom articulated by Republican Senator Lindsey Graham that “seedy Chicago politics” pushed through the Senate’s version of Obamacare: http://bit.ly/62MbBn

Former deputy to Chicago’s Mayor Daley, corruption-insider, and long-time Obama-worshipper, Val took offense at the term “seedy Chicago politics.”
