Is Jerry Sandusky Guilty?

Is Jerry Sandusky Guilty?

The homosexual child sex abuse trial of former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky began on Monday and it promises to be a three-week circus as the lurid details of the allegations and witnesses against him emerge.

If true, aside from the legalities of the charges against him, they represent a gravely serious betrayal of the university that employed him for 30 years, an ungrateful betrayal of the school’s legendary head football coach, Joe Paterno, and, possibly his worst crime, the cynical betrayal of hundreds of fatherless children–mostly boys–who had sought hope and a father figure in Sandusky and his foundation, The Second Mile, and instead found perversion.

The 68 year old Sandusky is charged with 52 counts of engaging in illicit sexual activities with at least ten young boys over the course of 15 years and could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted on all counts.

From a layman’s vantage point, considering the evidence against the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame member and Sandusky’s own statements made since the indictment, the possibility of his being completely exonerated would seem slim to none, but that’s why he has lawyers.

Originally charged in November 2011 with 40 counts of deviate behavior with boys aged ten to twelve, prosecutors upped the ante to 52 the next month after more alleged victims came forward.

No doubt, some or many of the victims are interested in monetary gains as a result of their ordeals, which is entirely understandable. However, his attorneys’ contention that all of them are sufficiently motivated by dollar signs to perjure themselves, defame an innocent man, and condemn Sandusky to spend his remaining days behind bars is entirely preposterous.

Furthermore, whether he decides to take the stand in his defense is irrelevant: He has virtually confessed to being a serial child predator. Jerry Sandusky’s telephone interview with Bob Costas last November sealed his fate.

In that infamous chat, incredibly conducted with the coach’s lawyer present, Sandusky declared his innocence, . . .

Tom, Jesus, Barack, and Elton

Tom, Jesus, Barack, and Elton

Updates on recent articles, two of which are sickening, two of which are pathetic, all of which are indicative of a world in dire need of a reality check-up:

BABY TOM IS DEAD. He didn’t have to die. Well, yes he did. You see, Baby Tom Godwin missed the cut. He was born 12 days too soon according to the British National Health Service’s minimum requisite of 24 weeks gestation and so NHS doctors at Southend Hospital, Southend, Essex, England, left him unattended, untreated, and uncared-for.

Baby Tom lived for 46 minutes.

His mum, Tracy Godwin, age 31, had just given birth to her first child and was bewildered. “We couldn’t understand why no one was helping him,” she said. Her confusion was somewhat remarkable considering that she–and Tom, briefly– lived in England where the NHS–the model for Obamacare–provided “universal health care,” except for people like Tom and any others it deems unworthy of care or treatment.

Poor little Tom didn’t even get the benefit of a death panel, those decision-making bodies of experts which, we’re told, will not be a feature of Obamacare. Or, maybe, unknowingly, he did. Either way, the verdict was death.

JESUS IS UNCOMFORTABLE. At least to a Minnesota lawmaker He is. “State Sen. Terri Bonoff, who is Jewish, said she feels uncomfortable when ministers mention Jesus and Christianity during prayers.” Eighty-one percent of Minnesotans are Christians but Sen. Bonoff ”said she feels uncomfortable when ministers mention Jesus and Christianity during prayers.”

When the senate Baptist chaplain, Dennis Campbell, offered a prayer mentioning Jesus Christ not once, not twice, but three times and uttered the words, “And we pray, Lord, that you help us to show reverence to the Lord Jesus Christ and the word of God today,” Bonoff was beside herself.

In high dudgeon following those offensive–if not seditious–words, Bonoff objected, demanding Campbell not be invited back and that, in the future, chaplains be required to deliver “non-denominational prayers:” http://bit.ly/ePs9tr

Something along the lines of, “Oh, Great Someone, have mercy on us” or, “Dear Mother Earth, please oversee our endeavors” might placate the good senator, and might not.

BARACK IS TRANSPARENT. In what could be, but isn’t, a satirical item from TheOnion.com . . .

Michael Jackson, One Mo' Time

Michael Jackson, One Mo’ Time

I’m not one to cast aspersions on the dead who can’t readily defend themselves.

Well, I am when said dead effected extreme havoc in their lifetimes and their blind idolators continue their efforts to sanctify a sick pedophile such as pop icon, Michael Jackson.

Jackson, whose talent is not in dispute, still lies unburied as of this writing. That bizarre fact has been necessitated as much by criminal inquiries as to the cause of his death as by his family’s and his coterie’s efforts to make his funeral and interment as much a public circus as humanly possible.

The reader should feel free to visit and view the countless websites and print articles that bemoan the death of Michael Jackson and suggest all sorts of conspiracies and machinations behind his untimely demise.

Those interested should also visit and view websites which suggest Jackson was nothing short of a martyed saint.

Those readers with brains larger than a pea might want to learn some truth about the sainted, “King of Pop” by taking a look at this 2-minute YouTube video, . . .
